To Give Him Glory is a podcast for Christian women and men who yearn to grow deeper in their relationship with God. Each episode will encapsulate the feeling of sitting down with your best friend and discussing ways in which you can serve The Lord in everything you do. We can’t be satisfied with a Sunday morning faith. Instead we should strive to live life with a heart posture set on doing everything to give Him glory. His Shekinah glory dwells within us and all around us, we just need to learn how to step into it. We live in a world that’s lost it’s Christian values, so how do we continue to faithfully serve Jesus, when the world wants us to do the complete opposite? In every episode we will discuss how we can give Him glory as we go about our everyday lives. We will look to scripture and learn how to apply their stories of faithfulness into our own lives. In this special episode of To Give Him Glory, we take a look at the incredible story behind Saint Patrick, the man whose life of obedience to God forever changed Ireland. Most people associate Saint Patrick’s Day with shamrocks, green clothes, and Irish celebrations. But behind the holiday is the powerful testimony of a man who went from captivity to calling. Kidnapped as a teenager and enslaved in Ireland, Patrick encountered God in the midst of loneliness and hardship. Years later, after finally escaping and returning home, God called him back to the very land where he had once been a slave, but this time as a missionary. His simple “yes” to God sparked a ripple effect that would spread the Gospel throughout Ireland and beyond. In this episode we’re going to explore, the real history behind St. Patrick, How God used one ordinary man to change a nation, and what Patrick’s story teaches us about obedience, humility, and faith. What could happen if we gave God glory if we responded to Him with the same courageous yes?
