Jack Mintz
Dr. Jack M. Mintz is a Senior Fellow of the C.D. Howe Institute and President’s Fellow at the School of Public Policy, University of Calgary. He also serves on the boards of Imperial Oil Limited and Morneau Shepell and is National Policy Advisor for Ernst & Young. He is a Distinguished Senior Fellow, Macdonald-Laurier Institute, Senior Fellow at Massey College, a regular contributor to the Financial Post, and on editorial boards of International Tax and Public Finance and the Canadian Tax Journal. Dr. Mintz chaired the federal Technical Committee on Business Taxation in 1996-97, leading to corporate tax reform. He has consulted for the World Bank, IMF, OECD, and governments across Canada. In 2015, he became a member of the Order of Canada and received the Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2012.
