School of Raq
A day in the life of a witch: Raq (sounds like "rock," and is short for Raquelle) is a music-teacher-turned-witch who offers spiritual help and healing from an all-faith perspective. Each Sunday, they cover topics like the tarot, astrology, holistic music, creativity, and other spiritual practices that can be picked up by anybody from any faith practice. Intersectional, political, and heart-felt, Raq discusses how to navigate spirituality in a society that makes being a human difficult. Come curious; leave transformed.

6: The Veil is Thin: a Spooky Szn Special!
Welcome to the School of Raq. I'm so happy you're here!
Let's talk about death, baby! In this episode, we talk about the *aura* of spooky season, and why we associate it with death. We read a poem, we cry a little, and I share a bit about my own ancestors. I hope this may inspire you to honor your own ancestors, because they're the reason for the season.
Content warning: we talk about death for most of the episode, so if you'd like to skip ahead to more light-hearted practices for getting into the spirit of spooky szn, skip ahead to 29:00.
