School of Raq
A day in the life of a witch: Raq (sounds like "rock," and is short for Raquelle) is a music-teacher-turned-witch who offers spiritual help and healing from an all-faith perspective. Each Sunday, they cover topics like the tarot, astrology, holistic music, creativity, and other spiritual practices that can be picked up by anybody from any faith practice. Intersectional, political, and heart-felt, Raq discusses how to navigate spirituality in a society that makes being a human difficult. Come curious; leave transformed.

14: Self-Acceptance: How to Love Yourself In a World on Fire
Welcome to the School of Raq! I'm so happy you're here.
Today's episode is about accepting yourself, even if (and especially when!) it may seem selfish to do so. Loving yourself is the first step to loving others and the world around you--it is a radical act of communal care.
The episode is in three parts:
1. Why self-acceptance is important
2. What self-acceptance is/looks like/feels like
3. How to practice self-acceptance in your every day life.
If nobody has told you this today, you are cherished and the world needs you. I hope you find some space within all the noise to rest easy in that fact.
