What Is Endolift? An Educational Explanation of Non-Surgical Laser Skin Tightening
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Endolift® is a trademarked medical procedure. This episode is for educational purposes only and explains fibre-optic laser skin-tightening technology in general, including Simi’s trademarked EndoLaze protocol, which is not affiliated with Endolift®.
Laser skin tightening is everywhere right now — and so is the confusion.
In this episode, Simi breaks down what fibre-optic laser skin tightening actually is, how it works, who it’s really for (hint: not just “older” clients), and how it differs from fillers, anti-wrinkle injections, HIFU, and surgery.
You’ll also hear a clear explanation of EndoLaze, Simi’s trademarked treatment brand, and how it relates to — but is not affiliated with — the trademarked medical procedure Endolift®. This episode is about transparency, education, and helping you make informed decisions without hype or pressure.
In this episode, we cover:
- What laser skin tightening is (in simple terms)
- A clear disclaimer around Endolaze vs Endolift®
- Who this treatment is for — including post-weight-loss and genetic skin laxity
- How the treatment works beneath the skin
- What it feels like and whether it hurts
- Downtime and recovery expectations
- How long results last
- How it differs from fillers, injectables, HIFU, RF, and surgery
This episode is ideal if you want natural-looking structural improvement, lifting without fillers, or clarity before considering any aesthetic treatment.
No scare tactics.
No overpromising.
Just honest, grounded education.

“Today I want to talk about a treatment that’s getting a lot of attention right now — and also a lot of confusion.
You might have heard names like Endolift, EndoLaze, laser lifting, or non-surgical skin tightening all used interchangeably online. And I completely understand why that feels confusing.
So in this episode, I want to slow everything right down and explain — clearly, calmly, and properly — what this treatment actually is, how it works, who it’s for, and how it’s different to other aesthetic options.
No hype. No scare tactics. Just education.
Before I go any further, it’s really important that I’m clear and transparent here.
Endolift® is a trademarked medical procedure and brand name. I’m not affiliated with Endolift®, and I don’t claim to offer the Endolift® medical protocol.
You may hear me use the term EndoLaze — and that’s because EndoLaze is the name of my own trademarked treatment brand, developed under my business.
EndoLaze is my name for a non-surgical laser skin-tightening treatment using fibre-optic laser technology, delivered under my own protocol, training, and clinical experience.
The technology itself isn’t exclusive to one brand. What differs between practitioners is the device used, the settings, the technique, and the practitioner’s judgement and training.
So when I explain how this treatment works today, I’m talking about the technology and biological effects in general — not any trademarked medical procedure. And that clarity really matters.
Now, one of the biggest misconceptions I see is that this treatment is only for older people.
It isn’t.
This treatment is for skin laxity — not age.
So it can be suitable for people noticing early jowling or jawline softening, for post-weight-loss clients where the skin hasn’t tightened back, for postpartum changes, for genetic laxity around the lower face or neck, and for people who don’t want fillers or simply don’t suit fillers.
Weight loss is a big one here.
When fat reduces, especially quickly, the skin doesn’t always retract with it. On the face, that can show up as heaviness, sagging, or loss of definition — even in younger clients.
This treatment works on skin quality, tissue support, and structure. It’s not about age. It’s about how your tissue is behaving.
So how does it actually work?
At its core, this is a minimally invasive laser treatment that works beneath the skin rather than on the surface.
A very fine fibre-optic laser — thinner than a hair — is introduced through tiny entry points in the skin. That fibre delivers controlled thermal energy into targeted tissue layers.
That heat does three main things.
First, it stimulates collagen production, encouraging firmer, stronger skin over time.
Second, it causes tissue contraction, which creates tightening and a lifting effect.
And third, where appropriate, it can softly reduce small pockets of fat, such as under the chin or along the jawline.
Nothing is added to the face. Nothing is frozen. Nothing is stretched.
We’re encouraging your own tissue to regenerate and support itself.
One of the most common questions I get is whether it hurts.
And I always think honesty matters here.
Is it completely painless? No.
Is it unbearable? Also no.
The area is numbed, and most people describe the sensation as pressure, warmth, or a pulling or tugging feeling.
The entry points tend to be the most uncomfortable part. Once the fibre is positioned, the sensation is usually more strange than painful.
Because the treatment works beneath the skin, topical numbing creams don’t fully eliminate sensation, which is why the procedure is carried out carefully, efficiently, and with constant communication.
Most clients say it’s far more manageable than they expected.
In terms of results, expectations are really important.
This isn’t an instant facelift.
Some tightening can be seen early, but the real changes come from collagen regeneration, and that takes time.
Typically, improvement continues over weeks, results develop over months, and peak results are often seen around three to six months.
Because we’re stimulating your own collagen, results can last several years, depending on lifestyle, skin quality, genetics, and the natural ageing process.
This is a long-term structural treatment, not a short-term cosmetic fix.
People also ask how this compares to other treatments.
Compared to fillers, fillers add volume, whereas this treatment improves skin quality and tissue support.
Compared to anti-wrinkle injections, injections work by relaxing muscles, whereas this works on skin and structural tissue.
Compared to HIFU or radiofrequency treatments, those work from the surface down, whereas this works from within the tissue itself.
And compared to surgery, surgery physically removes or repositions tissue, whereas this encourages the tissue to tighten and regenerate naturally.
Every treatment has its place, but this sits in the middle ground for people who want visible, structural improvement without surgery or heavy volume.
For me, this type of treatment represents a shift in aesthetics.
Away from chasing perfection.
Away from over-filling and masking.
And towards supporting the face as it evolves.
It’s not about looking like someone else.
It’s about looking fresher, stronger, and more aligned with who you are now.
If you’ve been curious about laser skin tightening or EndoLaze but felt confused by what you’ve seen online, I hope this episode has given you clarity.
Education should always come before treatment — and the right choice is an informed one.”
