Meanwhile, the Defra Secretary Steve Reed has made a commitment to set up a meeting between the Chancellor and UK farming unions on the impact of the proposed Inheritance Tax changes and the Welsh Government's increase to the rural affairs budget by 6.6% has been welcomed by Welsh farming unions. But they have called for urgent clarity on how the funding will be distributed within the department to support farmers and rural communities.
