This episode delves into the transformative journey of self-discovery and authenticity, exploring the impact of societal conditioning and external validation on personal identity. The host examines the insidious nature of pseudo-judgments and the distractions that suppress the "still small voice" within, emphasising the importance of reconnecting with this inner wisdom.

Listeners are introduced to the concept of "The Call to Adventure," a pivotal moment of realization and awakening that invites individuals to shed illusions, confront self-deception, and rediscover their true selves. Drawing on the teachings of Joseph Campbell's Hero’s Journey, the episode frames this call as both an individual and collective experience, aligned with themes of personal growth, courage, and transformation.

The discussion highlights the role of Divine Feminine, Sacred Masculine, and androgyne energies as essential companions on this path of self-reclamation. Through these archetypes, the episode explores the importance of balancing inner energies to achieve authenticity and self-sovereignty.

Listeners are encouraged to embrace the discomfort of growth, question the current state of the world, and consider new paradigms for sustainable living and collective evolution. With heartfelt insights, the host invites individuals to honor their inner voice, embody authenticity, and take brave steps toward a more aligned and purposeful way of being.

This episode serves as both a reflective and empowering guide for those seeking transformation, calling them to move beyond comfort zones, embrace their unique gifts, and contribute meaningfully to the world.

The Freedom to Be Me - Answering the Call to Authenticity.

The insidiousness of the 3D world - the lies, the untruths we are indoctrinated to believe, all serving to keep me, to keep you small and from The and our truth - the real truth. We have been conditioned to rely on our needs being satisfied by the world outside of ourselves and by others in it, giving us sanction and approval. And, when this is withheld, I and we strive to attain it and when we don’t get this sense of validation, how so many of us turn these pseudo judgements or lack of attention in on ourselves, picking up these judgements, making them our own.

And then…

There is that still small voice within - that voice that we have drowned out with all manner of external stimulants because we have no faith in ourselves to honour that gentle, yet powerful inner urging for more. We hide in the more - the more of distractions, addictions - anything to negate that sense of self that has been and is being devalued over and over again…

Until…

One day we realise that we are in the grip of insanity - that insane thinking that Albert Einstein termed - thinking the same thing over and over again expecting different results. That insanity where we have handed our true selves over to the noise in our heads - that of the pseudo world that so many of us have tried to fit into - the proverbial round peg in a square hole that the world and people in it have deemed to be ‘normal’.

When…

We truly hear the call of that still inner voice within, that voice that urges that there is something more - and that more is an inner knowing that we are all meant to BE more of who we truly are - not to do more or have more - that identity that has continued to elude us.

This is the invitation to peel away all of the falsehoods, to let go of all of the illusions, the stories and the narrative that we have told ourselves, that we have come to believe as truth - all lies designed to separate us from who we really are.

This…

Is the call to adventure - the summons to connect with our authentic knowing - to let go, to eradicate all the untruths that we have come to believe, that narrative that has dictated for so long, the pseudo persona of who I, we thought the world wanted me, us to be - at least I know that this has been true for me.

It has taken a huge amount of work to cut through the delusions and illusions - to have found the courage to face the and my Truth - to find the true me hidden behind the veils of self- deception. Without being and doing ‘the work’, I would have continued to deceive myself, to play small, to need from others what they did not have the capacity to give me, and, neither was it their responsibility to validate me, as they too, struggled with their own story.

We bandy about the words authenticity, personal agency, self sovereignty as the new ‘buzz words’ of personal development, with a gazillion how to’s, and yet I have come to know that without ‘the work’ - the real work of cutting through the separation created from the illusions we came to believe, the stories we have told ourselves, the narrative that we have allowed to shape who we are and the choices we made, we cannot ever embrace and stand in the absolute purity of our Truth - that truth that emerges out of ‘the work’, that Truth that is our very Soul Self, our essence, our Divine Right to Be all we have been created to Be.

I have come to know that authenticity, personal agency, self sovereignty is not something that we can arrive at in our heads - there is no logic to this - it can only come from opening our hearts to receive ourselves - as we truly are - created in the image of our Creator - and if we don’t like who that is, maybe the starting point is to find a new, kinder, gentler definition of who or what we deem to be our Creator.

This is our  ‘Call to Adventure’ and I have come to know this as a gentle beckoning, enticing us into an adventure of Be-Ing and experiencing ourselves as we truly are. And yes, it may have been precipitated by a cycle of trauma, of self destruction, though this is not always the case. The ‘Call’, the voice, may have asserted herself through a book, a movie, a conversation, that has brought us to the point of asking, questioning, whether there is something more.

Whatever it is that has brought you to feel, to connect with these inner urgings is suggesting that you consider that there is someone and not something more. Her soft, gentle cajoling is tempting, luring you, to be more of you. That quiet inner voice - your voice, has awoken in you, a deeper, inner call, through the gentle stirring of your Spirit.

This is the call to adventure and is as old as time, has been beautifully captured by Joseph Campbell in ‘The Hero with a Thousand Faces’. It is the first out of 12 steps that Campbell outlines in the ‘Hero’s Journey’ which has become for me, a deeply profound model for personal development, the inner journey of the hero as she turns in to face herself and the challenges needed to be overcome, to grow into being more of herself in all aspects of how she expresses herself.

I have come to know this energy and call as the voice and energy associated with the awakening of my Divine Feminine. This is not an opportunity to get hung up about gender identity - this dialogue is about the alignment with energy - in this case that of the Divine Feminine - it is She who has issued the invitation to you to your Truth.

Together with the Sacred Masculine and the balanced energy of the androgyne who are our companions too, as we travel through the journey from the outer world, into the inner world - that of ourselves - and then, again to the outer world, we learn that in reclaiming our sense of Self, that we are a combination of all three of these energies.

Change, transformation of who we see ourselves being begins from within. Our inner journey is in honouring the call, that there is an acknowledgement that all is not as it should or could be. There is the sense of disquiet, of dissonance between our inner and outer worlds - something is out of kilter; off balance. These feelings of unease, of discontent, have been my inner call to awaken, to examine, to explore where this sense of discontent. It is the first sign that the veils behind which I have shrouded myself, where I have hidden, are stirring. The gentle etheric fabric of the veils behind which I have hidden my Self, rustling in the breeze, are putting me on notice that the winds of change are making their presence felt, that a new cycle of growth and a moment of choice is about to make itself known.

It is this, that I have come to know as … ‘The Call’ - that invitation to take responsibility for the me I Am and at this point that I know that I have a choice - to stay where I am discontented in my so-called comfort zone - that ironically is not comfortable at all, blocking out the noise in my head that I replace with busy living in the hope that I will drown out my fears, doubts and insecurities. Or I can choose to be brave enough to answer the stirrings of my heart and soul – that authentic voice that is spurring me on to be curious enough to explore ‘The Call’.

This is my invitation for me to begin to question my current state; to be courageous and willing enough to begin to open a window into a different way of living and engaging with myself and others.

The Call has been evident for eons of time and more so in the last few decades – we are no longer able to live sustainably on the planet for generations to come unless we do something differently – unless we learn and grow beyond the paradigms that have been imposed upon us by society, education, politics and economics.

The voice of ‘The Call’ is gathering momentum as Light Beings of all ages the world over are hearing and honouring The Divine Feminine within, as they come together to explore the possibility of answering ‘The Call’ – our own that that of our collective consciousness - to birth a kinder, gentler, nurturing and more beautiful world.

Will you or won’t you be brave?

Will you or won’t you honour the voice, the invitation, found in the deepest recesses of your heart to embark upon your Divine Feminine Heroine’s Journey?

Will you or won’t you engage in what it means to live, move, speak and act from your heart - your Source of authenticity, of personal agency and Self Sovereignty - for you see - as I have come to know, this is the energy of Being and not doing.

And your answer to The Call – is a Choice – Will you or won’t you honour that authentic cry of the inner urgings of your Soul to Be true to you?
