Phil Emonson

Phil is a Technical Director and JBA's Climate Resilience Transformation Lead. He has an MSc in River Basin Dynamics and Management, and 18 years’ experience in flood risk, climate resilience and emergency planning.

Phil is a Fellow of CIWEM, a PRINCE2 practitioner, and a Member of the Emergency Planning Society for whom he is Chair of the national Flood Resilience Professional Working Group.

Phil's interests lie in how social capital can build and enhance resilience to climate change. As JBA’s Climate Resilience Transformation Lead, Phil has responsibility for embedding and implementing the vision of JBA's company strategy, 'to lead in society's pursuit for resilience to climate change'. This business leadership role involves influencing company evolution across the entire business in the areas of talent pool, growth, profitability, responsibilities, work winning, technology and innovation.
