So we have stepped into a new era and I kind of looked up the history of the CEOs of the Disney company. There have been. Nine CEOs but eight people.'cause Bob Iger was two times and I just wanted to go through the list here. Roy Disney was 1929 to 1971. Don Tatum. 1971 to 1976 E Cardin Walker, 1976 to 1983, Ron w Miller, 1983 to 1984, Michael Eisner, 1984, 2005, Bob Iger, 2005 to 2020.

They were getting stuck in the concrete and yeah. So. The heat and whatnot. It didn't have enough time to cure. Yep. So it was kind of a, a mess. And the crowds were like, it was sold out.

And speaking of Main Street, we have more news on the rumored main street, USA Lego set that is coming. Again, this is rumors, but stuff's starting to come out, so I imagine this will be announced soon. No official announcement has been made by Lego, but Brick Tap says that the set will include Disney tourist mini figures with Mickey Ears and Star Wars shirts. Brick Tap says the Lego release will be on June 1st of this year. So an official

This, I did read this a couple weeks ago and I didn't mention it because they said they took the growers into another area like indoors. For a minor refurbishment. I'm gonna cover a few here. And they all are kind of intertwined. We are still over in World Nature and last week we talked about the Seas with Nemo and Friends Ride. Today we're gonna visit Bruce's Shark, world Turtle Talk with Crush, and then the, just the overall sea base Aquarium. So we'll start with Bruce's Shark World. These do all tie into one. They're all in the same pavilion. So Bruce's shark world, get ready for fish. Friendly fun. At this interactive walkthrough exhibit at the Seas with Nemo and Friends Pavilion. It's a small, quiet walkthrough play area that handles high traffic on a first come first serve basis. It opened in Walt Disney World November 16th, 2004. Bruce's Shark World is inspired by the Disney and Pixar film Finding Nemo. Here you can test your undersea expertise with quizzes from Nemo's teacher, Mr. Ray. Don't forget to pose for a photo inside the toothy grin of Bruce the shark. He promises not to bite. Fish are friends. Of course not food mostly. And though the pavilion re theming into the seas with Nemo and Friends didn't reach its grand opening until January 24th, 2007. Bruce's Shark World and Turtle Talk with Crush were open early to bring immediate NEMO elements to the area. So that's what I have on the Bruce Shark world. So going into Turtle Talk with Crush, which simultaneously opened the same day as Bruce's Shark World, which was again November 16th, 2004. This one can be found obviously in the Walt Disney World, world Nature sees Pavilion also in Disney, California Adventure at Disneyland. Bruce's Shark World is not in Disneyland. Just this Turtle Talk with Crush Show can be there and you gather around a window to the ocean for conversation in real time with your favorite totally tubular sea turtle. It is a theater type setting and the capacity is approximately 40 to 50 guests per performance. Each performance is about 15 minutes. May remain in your wheelchair or your electric vehicle. Assisted listening devices and audio descriptions are available, as I noted just a little bit ago, also opening November 16th, 2004. It's an improvised digital character conversation that is designed for all ages. Kids are not required, but. How do you say that? Like, desired to sit on the floor in the front so they can be closer up with, with Crush.

And then the adults are, you know, to sit on the floor or on the benches rather. So they want all the kids, as many of us wanna join up in the front. Able to communicate directly with land-based dudes and dots using his hydrophone Crush. Calls on guests to answer questions, tell stories, and learn how to talk turtle, and that he'll even answer guest questions. The show often features other characters from Finding Nemo and finding Dory such as Squirt. Marlin and others. The attraction is indoor air conditioned and usually runs continuously throughout the day. And since the show is improvised, it's different with each audience. Each performance is different.

So there's that. And then we're just gonna cover the overall sea base aquarium, just the overview. Explore the mystery of life under the sea at this ocean themed destination. Home to a fantastic aquarium, complete with a 5.7 million gallon salt water tank that is home to over 4,000 creatures from numerous species, including sharks, dolphins, manatees, and sea turtles. The original Pavilion opened January 15th, 1986 and closed for transformation in August of 2005. So previously it was known as something else, and I think I've got the name of that in here. The Sea-based Pavilion originally opened as the Living Seas in 1986 and was re themed in 2006. Along with the aquariums, the seas with Nemo and Friends, ride Turtle Talk with Crush and Bruce's Shark World. This location is also home to the Coral Reef Restaurant. In this area of of the sea base Aquarium, you can expect underwater views in a circular window line roomed that provides a 360 degree view of the marine life. There are scheduled feedings for the rays. The sea turtles and fish, and you can just check with a cast member for the times of those feedings. I don't know if, I can't remember if they're noted on the door somewhere, like in

in a, on a board or whatnot, but just ask anyone in there they can help you with that. Also note that the aquarium is involved in conservation with some animals being rehabilitated. They have a lot of manatees that they, they rehab, so, and they just, you were just talking a few weeks ago that they had a new baby, one that they were.

Yep. So, and then another added perk that people can participate in is you can go beneath the surface. So you can be immersed in underwater wonders when you book an enchanting extras collection experience at Sea Base Aquarium. Because as a certified scuba diver, you can swim with over 2000 sea animals inside the aquarium. However, to participate in this, you can't just go and be like, Hey, I wanna, you know.

You have to show proof of an open water scuba certification and guests must be 10 years old or older, and anyone under 16 must be accompanied by a pain adult.

the cost of this is between$229 to$249 per person plus tax. The Epcot Sees Adventure Dive Quest last about two hours, and you will spend approximately 40 minutes on your actual dive. You will also get a backstage tour to see the inner workings of the massive aquarium. Advanced reservations are highly recommended as availability is limited. Make your reservations online or on the My Disney Experience App, same day. RSVPs and walk-ins can be made on a limited basis. Subject to availability. There is a whole list of know before you go pointers that was too vast to list. So just be sure that you go in and do your research so that you're able to adhere to all the rules and regulations that are required to participate in this program. So that's what I have. So we're covering up and then next week we're gonna go into a little bit more detail about what's involved in the actual aquarium, such as which animals. Okay,

And 1958. Also on March 28th, the Fred Gurley joins the fleet. The Disney Railroad added a legendary piece of machinery. Engine number three, the Fred s Gurley. Interestingly, this was not a new build. It was an 1894 Baldwin locomotive that formally hauled sugarcane in Louisiana today. It remains the oldest piece of equipment operating at any Disney Park worldwide.

So hence the reason why they halted to, you know, view anymore, because these also included the Robin Hood and the Mary you men. And the sword and the rose. So this is, this is the tie up one directed by Harold French, written by Lawrence Edward Watkin, produced by Purse Pierce and Walt Disney cinematography was by Guy Green and music by Cedric Thorpe, Davy in 1715 Scotland. Rob Roy McGregor leads his clan in a rebellion against King George. I, I. When the revolt fails, everyone is pardoned, except the McGregors whose very name is banned, declared an outlaw by the villainous Duke of Montrose. Rob Roy becomes a fugitive hero between daring escapes and raiding English outposts. He marries his sweetheart, Helen Mary, and fights to restore his family's honor and legal standing. And again, Rob Roy is played by Richard Todd that Disney depicts for him a Renaissance fighter during the Jacobite era and in the film, he has also given other roles as a clan leader, Jacobite rebel, an outlaw, and a soldier. And according to follow-up movies, being this is, there's no direct sequel as it's obviously the third and final film in the British made historical adventures starring Richard Todd. However, there are several follow-up ways to explore this story, or its cast such as the stories of Robin Hood and his Merry Men from 1952 and the 1953, the Sword and the Rose, and of course, today's movies. Of the week, Rob Roy, the Highland Rogue, finishing the series. Other movies about the character legend of Rob Roy McGregor include the 1922 silent film adaptation from the early 20th century titled Rob Roy. You know, you're getting ready for your Disney trip and that seven days comes up, or three days if you're staying off site and you got you. It's time to book those lightning lanes.
