Regina Swarn Season 7 Episode 43

What makes your story worth telling? Everyone walking this earth carries a unique narrative shaped by their experiences, culture, and perspective. Some tales originate just across the street, while others travel continents to reach us—like Braxton, my beloved cat from Germany.

Welcome to the newest chapter of Regina Swarn Audio Series Presents! After recognizing my purpose to amplify diverse voices, I'm launching a fresh interview series featuring fascinating individuals from every conceivable background. This isn't a podcast limited to celebrities or experts in narrow fields. Instead, I'm creating space for animal rescuers, musicians, actors, spiritual leaders, and everyday people with extraordinary stories.

Our journey begins this Thursday with Jerri  Clay Hays, coordinator of the Kitten and Cat Rescue in Georgia—the organization that connected me with all my feline companions. Jerri will share heartwarming rescue stories, including how my German cat Braxton found his way into my home. This marks just the beginning of our storytelling adventure. I've already lined up conversations with an eclectic mix of guests, each bringing their unique perspective to our growing collective narrative. Though the production process has changed (I'm now handling much of what my sister Lora once managed), my commitment to authentic storytelling remains unwavering.

Have a story worth sharing? I'm eager to hear it. Whether I've already reached out or we've yet to connect, know that this platform exists to celebrate the beautiful diversity of human experience. Subscribe now to join our storytelling community and discover the remarkable tales waiting just around the corner.

Speaker 1:

Hey there, I'm Regina Sworn. Welcome back to a trailer of Regina Sworn Audio Series Presents. Now, you know, I realized a long time ago that everyone has a story to tell, and your story might be different than the person across the street or in another country or at another church or whatever. Everybody got a story and I know I was put here on this planet and one of the things I was put on this planet to do is to bring people's story to the forefront. Yeah, so I'll be talking to a host of different people, anywhere from animal rescue people to musicians, to actors and singers and all kinds of people, because when I speak with people, it's people of all walks of life. I do not have a specific type of person or people that I, you know, talk to. So I'm starting something new with my podcast, so it's a bit new. I'm really excited about it.

Speaker 1:

So, starting Thursday, I'm going to be interviewing the wonderful lady of the coordinator, one of the coordinators of the Kitten and Cat Rescue up in Georgia, miss Cherry Clay Hayes. That's where I've gotten all my cats from, and especially my cat. She's going to tell you about my cat from Germany, braxton. Braxton is from Germany, guys, this is for real. So I'll be interviewing Jerry on Thursday, but I have a list of people I've already asked to be interviewed. So if I have talked to you about doing an interview with you, please beware. Well, get, beware or not beware, but be ready. What we're going to do is, when I next time I get in contact with you, we're going to go over times that's best suited for you, your schedule, things of that nature, and then we're going to go from there.

Speaker 1:

My sister, laura, used to do all this stuff for me. Now I kind of do it myself, where I have someone in the background doing it, so it's a little bit more tedious, but getting it together. I know laura is somewhere in the room with me. I know she is. So I'm looking forward to you, uh, interviewing different ones and, again, if I have contacted you about doing an interview with you, I will be reaching out to you within the next week or so on your schedule or on our schedules, so we'd be on the same page. If I haven't talked to you yet about doing an interview with you, hang in there, because I want to talk to as many people as possible, as many as possible. So thank you all so much. Have a fantastic day.
