Regina Swarn Audio Series Presents

From Two Listeners to Thousands: A Podcast Journey of Gratitude

Regina Swarn Season 7 Episode 50

Fan Mail

From a tiny audience of just two listeners—myself and my sister Lora—to a community of 11,000, this journey represents something far more meaningful than numbers. When I nearly abandoned this podcast at its beginning, it was Lora's simple encouragement—"don't give up, keep going"—that made all the difference. Those words became the foundation for everything that followed.

What does reaching 11,000 listeners mean? While some podcasts count their audiences in millions, I measure success differently. If these stories touch just one person's life among those thousands, that's what matters most. In a world filled with challenging headlines and negativity, creating a space for authentic storytelling feels increasingly important. Though I come from a musical background, this platform deliberately welcomes voices from every walk of life—teachers, politicians, CEOs, healthcare workers, and people of all ages sharing their unique experiences.

My approach remains consistent with every guest: I briefly introduce myself before stepping back completely. The spotlight belongs to their story, told in their own words. Our recent episode featuring Jerri Clay Hays explores everything from cat adoption to pet care while traveling—just one example of the diverse topics we cover. Whether you support this podcast financially, share it with friends, or simply listen, please know how deeply grateful I am. Stay tuned for more compelling conversations with fascinating guests from all backgrounds. As we continue to grow at exactly the pace we're meant to, I remain committed to treating every story with equal respect and appreciation.

Speaker 1:

My very humble little podcast is actually doing quite well. I am so thankful to everybody that's been so wonderful in supporting it and yeah, I mean I'm not trying to be like millions and millions of people, but I'm just really happy that the Lord has brought it so far. It started out with just my sister, laura and I listening to it and it was her words that kept me. It was her saying don't give up. Because I was going to just give up. I was just like I don't want to do this, but she said don't do it. She said don't give up, keep going. So I decided to keep going. So I went from a little two people, three people the two of us to a few dozen, to a few hundred and now safely 11,000. Now that might not seem like a lot to a lot of people who's got podcasts, that's really up there, but to me that means a whole lot Because you know, I always said and I really truly mean this if I could just reach just that one person in that 11,000, if it's that one person in there that I could reach, oh my god, how great would that be with so much going on in the world and so many bad things happening right now and some so many sad stories. I'm just really grateful and I'm so thankful to bring my story to the public and to bring other people's story to the light and to the public. So again, thank you all. I mean 11,000 is again not a lot to a lot of people, but to me it's like 11 million. It's like 11 million to me because I'm just really thankful, because I can see the progress of it, how it's moving, you know, at the pace that the Lord wants it to move.

Speaker 1:

And I do speak to people from all walks of life. It's not just centered around musicians. I am a singer, I am a musician, singer, I am a musician. But my podcast is for singers, musicians, teachers, politicians, ceos, nurses, doctors, kids, adults, I mean you name it. I like a person to tell their story and if you ever been a part of my show, you would that. Yeah, I'll introduce myself, speak a little bit about me, but it's not about me. So I'll turn it over to my guests and then they can tell you their story a lot better than I can ever tell it. So I think my latest is Jerry Clay Hayes.

Speaker 1:

Now, you guys go check that out. A lot of people just downloaded, loaded it and listening to it and enjoying it. She's bringing forth a lot of great things about cats and kittens and adoption, and, when you go out of town, what you do with your cat. Oh, she's saying so many great things, so many, so go check that out. Oh, she's saying so many great things, so many, so go check that out. That's up at Regina Sworn Audio Series Presents over at Buzzsprout Buzzsprout, so go check it out.

Speaker 1:

Again. Thank you for supporting my podcast. I do appreciate all of you, the ones who support it monthly. You may not be able to support it monthly, but if you share it, that means just as much to me, and when you listen means a lot to me as well. So, thank you, thank you, thank you. I have some more great shows for you, live and on location, with some pretty pretty cool people coming up, but I love all of my guests. I don't think one guest is better than any other guest. Yeah, some may be richer or or whatever, but I try to treat everybody the same. So be on the lookout. I have some great podcasts coming up. Thanks again. God bless you, stay safe out there and stay cool.
