New Favorite Worship Voice Haley Jones
Hey there, I'm Ratina Soren. Welcome back to another episode of Ratina Soren Audio Series Presents. Tonight I'm talking about something a little bit different than the norm. I'm talking about music and a music artist. Um well I'll just say this. Let me let me just say this without saying a lot. Let me say this. I this has become my definitely my favorite my favorite artist, my favorite worship, my favorite worship artist. The lyrics to the song Not Today, our song Not Today, I remember listening to that a few months ago, and I was going through some things, and it shows you that when you uh you never know how you're going to affect people. You never know it. And uh as a Christian, you never know how you're gonna affect a person. It could be through the word, it could be through a testimony, it was through the lyrics to this song. The lyrics to to Haley Jones' um song, Not Today. And I think it was been roughly about three months ago when I had some things just going I was going through some things, let's put it that way, and I came across this song online, and I said, Let me listen to this because I was you know, you see the worst worst of the lyrics on the video. I said, Let me listen to this, and as I listened to it, I found myself singing this song all day, most of the night, all day the next day, most of the night. And by the time and I know people are gonna say, are you kidding? By the time that the situation arose, the problem was gone. So proving that music, if it's the right music and the right artist, that music can really touch your spirit, its soul can touch you in ways that that you won't ever imagine. And it was through Haley Jones, not any other artists out there. And if there are a lot of great artists out there, I mean, um, there are a lot of great artists. Yeah, I grew up listening to Walter Hawkins, not a love Walter Hawkins and Tremaine Hawkins and all, but um there are a lot of great artists out there now, a lot of great artists, a lot of great um uh Christian artists, and I grew up listening to Karen Peck and New River, and you know, so there again, there's a lot of great artists out there now. When I heard this particular artist, Haley Jones, I heard the words, because my worship is my weapon that if I battles with this part right here. If God be for me, who's against me, nobody is. Oh my god, that struck a chord, unlike any of the gospel singers out there now. It struck a chord in me. I I I've heard many of the singers out there now, and there's some beautiful singers out there, both soulful and both uh uh country uh Christian and Christian pop or whatever. It was Haley Jones music song not today that did it for me. That did it for me, guys. It was her song that did it for me, and I'm I almost want to cry because we don't know where we're gonna get our blessing from. We never know where we're gonna get our blessing from. It could be a song playing on radio, it could be uh someone giving a testimony, it could be a little child singing a lullaby, you know, who knows? But it was a Haley Jones song that day, not today. And those words, my worship is my weapon that I fight my battles with, and I'll never forget the part, if God is for me, who gives me? Nobody is! I can't do it like Haley, but I'm telling you guys, you guys gotta go check her out. If you haven't yet, if you haven't checked out this artist yet, go now and check her out. And that wasn't the only song that blessed my spirit and my heart. Then she went on to bless me again with Lord of Thankful, Thankful, yes. That is when I when I think of all the great things that the Lord has done in my life, with my podcast and and with and just different things, different things he's worked out for me and different blessings that he's given me, and just life, health, and strength. And as I go minister on my my podcast at the at iHeartRadio, as I minister uh through my podcast and minister through my everyday uh life, and when I go out and visit, you know, the nursing homes and and and do the different things that I do, when I go out to minister, God has blessed it abundantly. He's blessed my life abundantly. So when I hear Haley Jones singing, Lord, I'm thankful, thankful for all that you've done. Oh God. When I tell you guys, you got to go check this singer out. I am sh I I'm I for Christmas, I am going to purchase enough of her CDs, enough of her music, but I mean listen it to just everybody I can think of, every single body I can think of. Because there are song there are things in her song, like it's another one she got. It's called Crazy Good, but but how the other Lord is crazy good. And then her videos, the videos, look, look, this is not a paid advertisement or anything, just in case anybody's thinking, oh, somebody put you up to it. Oh, listen, listen. Even Haley in in the team don't know that I'm doing this. This is something I felt compelled in my spirit to talk of how this young lady has blessed my soul with her music. Her it was her music. Of all the thousands and millions of gospel singers out there, worship gospel worship singers and gospel singers out there, it was Haley Jones music, gospel music, worship music that has touched me the most these last three months. And I listen to a lot of music. I go sing at different churches, you know, when they have things they want me to come sing at. You know. But it's her music. It's the lyrics and the songs and the way that she delivered them. The way that she delivered that song. I you know, I want to cry almost almost want to cry here. And because I, you know, I'm so ex I'm so overjoyed right now. But I almost really want to cry too because when I think of 'cause my worship is my weapon. That I find my battles with if God be for me, who's against me, that is powerful. We never know how the Lord is going to get our attention. We we don't know. It's good to be just open, you know, just just just have your spirit open for whatever the way the Lord wants to bless you that particular day or that particular week or that particular night or evening. This so happened to happen one evening. One evening, I I I I heard this song and I came across this song, came across the video, and I say, Oh my god, wait, what you know you're in a car? This is a good example, guys. I'm so excited. I know you guys have never seen me like this before, probably, but you know, like if you're in a car and you see something and you you pass by it and you know it was something that you needed to you have to stop for, and you you you back up, you put that car in reverse, and you you you hit you hit that thing, and you back on the way back real quickly. That's what I did when I heard Haley Jones singing Not Today. And you guys gotta go check her out over at the uh I think it's on the Christian uh gospel charts. Um keep that song at nor number one because she's really good. I'm calling around to all the different radio stations and this this this lady needs to be everywhere. I mean, her music needs to be everywhere in every station, in every home, in every home, in every car, and I'm talking like seriously. I am so blessed, Haley, if you and your team hear this. I am so blessed by your music, and of all the singers out there right now, and there's some great singers out there, I'm not knocking anybody by any means of the word. There's a lot of great singers out there, a lot of great singers, but it was your music, Haley, that made the impact on me and that touched my heart, soul, spirit. It was your music. I just want to say thank you. I want to say thank you to your you. I want to say thank you to your team, I want to say thank you to the producers of that song, I want to say thank you to everybody that helped put that record together because I was listening to it one night while I was at work and um and I know someone and you know because I worked at in the nursing area at my job, and I know um I know one of the ladies came by, she said, Oh, who is that? I said, I said, Oh, this is Haley Jones. You know, it's like and she and she really liked the song, Thankful. So I I am just like telling the world about this because one thing about me, when I find something that's a diamond, a gem, a pearl, I want the world to know about it. And Haley Jones' music is so good. Her voice is different. It's different, it's not like anything. I grew up with wal listening to Walter Hawkins and Tremaine Hawkins. Of course I love that kind of music. Of course I love them. I haven't heard anything new lately, but I'll always love them. But this is something that is is bubbly and exciting and powerful, yet still powerful. And the way she deliver, she delivered, she delivered in such an an amazing way. The video to not today is is a beautiful video. I love I love the boots, I love the you know, just I mean she really gets into her s her singing. She gets all into it, she just she just go all out. She's get into it. And um and so the video, um once I listened to what drew me to because my worship is my weapon, that if I'm not bad, do if God is for me, who's a kiss me, that made me go look at watch the video, just hearing that little part. Once I watched the video, I was like, Good lord, this young lady is so amazing, and I see great things for her future. I see I can see I can see her just taking this whole thing way on out of there because it's so wonderful, it's so powerful, it's so her voice. She got a voice like it's it's that kind of voice that just grabs you. And she sings with so much power. It when she sing is like she's singing for you, like like when she's singing to me, let me let me put let me say for speak for me, okay? I'm sorry. I know I'm talking fast, I know I am, I know I'm getting too excited right now, but when she sings, it's like I feel like she's being a representative of the person that's listening. Because God is her her her leader, you know, and and you it makes you feel good. It makes me feel good to hear that, like, wow, so I I feel that. I feel that. And and she gonna she has another one um about what when it hurts like help, hurts like help. I heard I listened to that one too. I'm still listening to that one. That's another beautiful one. That is another beautiful one. Now, this is not a review of the um of the CD or the album or the songs by any means. This is just letting people know the impact that her music has had on me. That that ha that it has on me. I mean, I post it up as much as I can. I posted the uh video of Not Today over at my Facebook fan page. I try to post it on my private profile. I just try to post it different places when I'm d driving along in my car, and I like to just turn it up. I like to turn it up. And sometimes I'm like, I maybe I got it too loud, so I turn it down, you know, I don't want it too loud. But sometimes I just don't care. I just have it just so loud and you just hear the music just I I mean, you know, where some people be have their their some of their music, their wrap boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. And I got Hailey Jones and her just just just I mean to the top. I got it playing to the top as as far as I can take it. And you can just hear her just you know, when I when I open the door, if I go by and get some food or something, and I have it so loud. And you can just, you know, you close the door and you can hear this song, and I stood on the outside of the car one day and I was like, oh my god. And she has really truly blessed my soul, and I just wanted to share that with you know with my audience, you know, with the world, because i she's amazing. If you have not listened to this beautiful, wonderful, very gifted young woman, go and check her out. Go one of those songs you're gonna fall in love with. One of them. I love them all. But you know, my I think my my one that's trending with me now is Learn I'm thankful, thankful, all that you done. I think that's trending with me right now. That's in my head. I can't get that one out. Because I one day I was singing that all day long. All day long. I was thinking, because God when you think about how great God is as is to us, how great He's He's He's been to us, how good He is to us. When you think about how good the Lord is to you, how good He is to me, songs like that make you want to sing, it makes you feel good, it makes you makes you want to sing a song like that. And like I say, it's so many great songs out there right now, and yet my it's a lot of great songs out there. I'm out I like all kinds of songs that's out there now. CC Wine is and all the other great songs. I I listen to everyone, I really do. I listen to a little bit of everyone, but it is Hayley Jones. And let me repeat, this is Haley Jones that has stole my worship heart. I'm telling you guys, I love her music, and that that's gonna be my that's my Christmas present to to my friends. You know, I've had I've had a couple of my sisters say, you know, that singer that you posted up on your page, uh, Gina, where can I find her? So I'm just gonna, you know, go and just purchase the download. I want to support, you know, you want to support the artist. You don't want to just uh you know go and do anything for free. Yeah, I've heard the songs before, I've I've listened to them, I've heard the videos, but I want to be able to support as well because you know, yeah, and you know, maybe just maybe maybe we can get it here, here in here in here here right up here in in um up here in Stockbridge, who knows? If we're singing, you know, that would be great. Wouldn't that be great? Wouldn't it be great? I think it would be I think they would really be great. Um I think that would really be great. But I just want to say I love her music, it's blessed my soul, and I thank God for this this this young lady. You know, she's a powerhouse. She's she's gonna go she's gonna go places. I I can I can tell that. And I I just appreciate her for all the songs that she's uh recorded so far. I was even able to look at some of her older stuff online uh from a few years back. She's a beautiful voice. A beautiful, beautiful voice. It's it's very soulful, spiritual, got a bit of a country, kind of a bit of a I mean, and then and I heard her singing long zaking chees, long zak, long long long. I mean she sings with power. I am overjoyed. She's talking about her music right now. I am overjoyed, you know, and I know some people will say, well, we'll put you up to this the Lord. The Lord, because her music has totally blessed my soul, and I just really want to share share the way I feel about her music with my family, with my friends, and to let you guys know that there's some really great music out there, and I love her music, she's a a wonderful singer, and oh gosh, I I just I don't know. I just all the singers out there, I might I could I guess I could be listening to anyone, and I do listen to a lot of different singers, I do. But I just listened to them, and then it just goes one song up to the next, and the next gun go to the next. Haley Jones stopped me in my tracks. She got my attention. It was like, okay, listen to this. It was like she was saying, listen to this, without even saying it. And I think she's affected a lot of people like that. Like, okay, listen to this. Powerful man, powerful. Listen, this is not a review. Maybe I should do a review of of her her songs or whatever. That is a review. I can't help but letting you know that I love her music and right now I'm going to go play Thankful. I'm gonna play Not Today, I'm gonna play The One by the Crazy all the time, all the time. He's crazy, crazy Woo Okay, I can't do it like Haley, but yeah. Absolutely awesome, awesome, awesome, my favorite, my favorite and I say this and raise my hand up to heaven. She is my new favorite worship gospel artist, Haley Towns. I've said it before, I say it again, and I approve this message. Thank you for listening. I'm Regina Squirt.
