From Street Ministry To Streetwear: Building Dunamis Perception With Purpose
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
What if your wardrobe could testify before you say a word? We sit with Prophetess Roberta Ford to trace the roots of Dunamis Perception—a faith-based streetwear brand born from street ministry, family legacy, and a conviction that God’s view of us should define our style. Raised by single mothers and grandmothers who taught stewardship and dignity, Roberta and Apostle A.B. Ford built a visual language that carries that legacy forward: bold colors, clear messages, and designs that spark real conversations in the hedges and highways.
We talk about what it means to minister beyond the four walls, how bright hues can lift the spirit, and why modesty doesn’t require blandness. Roberta shares the story behind signatures like “Obey God (even if they don’t get it)” and “Drip With Purpose,” unpacking how camouflage palettes nod to spiritual battle while staying wearable and modern. She explains why every piece has a purpose, how weekly blog posts add fuel to the message, and why a portion of every sale helps Soldiers for Christ take the Gospel further. You’ll also hear how the family’s creative gifts converge in music and media—like the Dunamis Power video “For My Crown,” which honors their matriarchs and weaves Psalm 91 into a cinematic arc of perseverance.
Along the way, Roberta challenges us to consider alignment: who makes the products we use, and what do they stand for? Kingdom people, she says, thrive when they choose kingdom-made goods that agree with their values. From books like Soldiers for Christ: A Soldier’s Manual to new releases planned with audio options, the mission is consistent—equip believers to walk in confidence, purpose, and joy. If you’ve ever wondered how faith and fashion can reinforce each other, this conversation gives you the framework, the stories, and the vision to try it on for yourself.

Welcome And Guest Introduction
SPEAKER_01Hello and welcome back to another episode of Regina Sworn Audio Series Presents. Today I have online with me another wonderful guest and I say this I think I say this about every single guest because I feel like every guest is wonderful and to take time to have me uh interview you about your ministry, your business, your life, uh, it means a lot to me. So today I have with me Prophetess Roberta Ford. Now let me tell you just a little bit about uh Prophetess Roberta Ford. She is a servant of the Lord, an entrepreneur, author, wife, and mother. Please help me. Welcome to the show, Prophetess Roberta Ford. Hello, Miss Ford. How are you?
SPEAKER_00I am wonderful. And how are you? It is it is a blessing, a blessing that we finally were able to get together and sit down for this amazing interview and opportunity to be on your wonderful podcast.
SPEAKER_01Oh, thank you. It is a blessing just to have you here. I mean, I mm I just want to tell you I how much I love your your company. I I really it's it's in the podcast. It's always got a commercial going. And um I think a lot of you all, you and your your husband, Apostle A B Ford, who was on our show around about a month ago, maybe a little bit better. Um that podcast did so well. And we're still waiting for part two, but um part one is still one of the top podcasts right now, and it was just amazing how many people really tuned in and really enjoyed the after can I say after mass, the aftermath of the recording, and really you know, they were just asking questions about this and this and this, and I was like, wow. It lets me know when people really get into a podcast, they start asking questions about one thing or the other, but that lets me know that they resonate um with the podcast. So today we're gonna talk about your business because we know that you and Apostle Ford uh got your own business. Now, you guys got your hands in a lot of different things that you do, uh, other than your ministry. That's number one. But we know that you are blessed to do so many other things that the Lord has for you. So I think I'm gonna ask you to uh tell us a little bit about yourself, first of all.
SPEAKER_00Um, well, me personally, first and foremost, uh I am grateful um for the opportunity um to talk more about what it is that the Lord gave us. Um, because everything that we do is centered around him and his will and uh his vision for us. Um and that's a part of how the business itself came along. Um the Lord reminded us of our mothers, and for those that don't know, um he and I both grew up with single parents. So we weren't in a two-parent household. I grew up with my mother, he grew up with his mother, and the main things we remember about our mothers and our grandmothers are the foundational things that they taught us about being wise with
Origin Story And Mothers’ Influence
SPEAKER_00our money and knowing where to shop and always dressing, not for the place that you are, but the place that you're going. So, in the midst of that and us praying and talking to God, saying, Okay, God, I know you're giving us something, but help us to further understand what it is that you're giving. And he reminded us of our mothers and our grandmothers and the things that they taught us. So he instructed us and he gave us dunamis perception. That's the name that the Lord gave us for the business um of our faith-based streetwear that he gave us. And the emphasis behind dunism's perception is literally the perception of how the Lord views us.
SPEAKER_01Answered two questions in one, and I didn't even ask the question, and that's so amazing. That is so amazing, because I'm looking I'm looking at a question I was about to ask you, showing how God operates, you know. And I was about to ask you another question and God let you just answer that question so beautifully. Oh my Lord, that was so amazing. Um, I want to talk a little bit about, and I know this is a business podcast, but I want to talk a little bit about the ministry too, because I know that uh Apostle was on here, Apostle Fort, your husband. He was on the show, like I said, a little bit over a month ago, and he brought forth such beautiful word, and he prayed, and oh God, it was just such a great show. And it was just wonderful. You know, I want to talk a little bit about your ministry too, first, and then I'm gonna go into the business. I promise. I want to talk about this the ministry because you all also, and I think I brought this up with uh apostle, you guys, you know, do street ministries as well. And you guys, I was noticing on your different um what your shirts, I see how you have Bible verses and you have different things. You have brought all of that to your to your ministry. And as you were just speaking about how, you know, how you grew up, you know, in the homes, how you grew up and you had moms that, you know, love the Lord or whatever. And I just want to know um a little bit more about your ministry as well, because I apostle brought forward so much, but you are the prophetes, and I I just I I I just buy what you guys got going on. Can you tell me a little bit a little bit more about your ministry as well, if you don't mind?
SPEAKER_00Amen. Well, the ministry itself, as as y'all all may know by now, um, is soldiers for Christ. And what it is is that we're what's called a street ministry. We are not with inside of the four walls. Now, if God wants us to go into a building, go inside of a tent, then sure it's whatever
Naming Dunamis Perception And Its Meaning
SPEAKER_00his will is. But majority of the time when we're ministering to people, we're literally out in the hedges and highways. We can be in a park, we can be in the streets, we can be in a grocery store, just whatever it is that God has chosen for us to be. Um, that's literally we're in the streets and we're ministering to different people. And many times most people are taken by surprise because what they already have perceived in their mind to be what a pastor should look like or what a woman of God should look like, they're not expecting that to be the case when we're in the midst. And it it'll come from just a slight conversation. We might be in line, we might be on the out, we might just be walking past, and God'll just start having his way.
SPEAKER_01Wow. That's amazing. And I was looking at the design of your of your logo. I would I think it's the logo of of your your church, your international church. I was looking at the design of it, and did you design that or did Apostle sign that or did you both design that together?
SPEAKER_00You're speaking of our our ministry seal. No, that's our seal. We actually had um we actually had another woman of God actually design it for us. Um that's one of one of her gifts that God gave, and it's her business. Um and she actually uh designs ministry seals. Um and she does do some business logos, but God um dropped an apostle spirit and had him reach out to her. And we've known her for quite a quite some time, and he said, have her do the seal because that's what he anointed her to do. Right, it's beautiful. Even all the way down to the seals and the logos, it still reverts back to God and ministry.
SPEAKER_01Right. Very beautiful. I mean, it's very eye eye-catching. You see it, and I'm like, whoa, it's like got all the colors, everything is in there, you know, set it right, and oh, it's just really beautiful. Now, I guess I can go into talking a little bit about the business, but I just want to talk a little bit about let people know, you know, c know who you are. You know, you are the wife, the wonderful wife, prophetess of um apostle prophet A. B. Ford. Uh, you're the wife. So I just want people to know that just in case anybody was like, Well, who's uh who's on today? So you guys heard um her husband is gone last month, and you guys are the questions that I got, man. Whew, he's gotta come on for part two. He just got to. But um, I want to talk a little bit about your business now. Now, how long have you uh been in in business, you know, with the with the perception uh the perception dunumus dunis perception?
SPEAKER_00Yes, Dunis Perception was founded in twenty twenty-one. Um and this is right after all of the COVID that went on in 2020, and because there was so much, I can't say loss, um, because these women were saved and God just simply called them home. Um, and it included uh Apostles' grandmother, Esther Swan, it included his mother, um Ethel, Pearl Ford,
Street Ministry Beyond Four Walls
SPEAKER_00and it also included his auntie, uh, also one of my favorites, uh Laura. And and I simply see that way for a reason, because I literally just called her Auntie, Laura, because she had one of the the the sweetest spirits. But all of these women um were in the Lord and they were humble and they were just constantly reminded of why we do, what we do, and who we do it for. Um, and so after all of that transition that took place in 2020, um, of God calling them home, when the top of 2021 came and God started to deal with us, that's when he gave us doom's perception because we were like, okay, we remember conversations that we've had with either of them. And one of the main things that I used to love about my mother-in-law and um her mom is the fact that the way that they dress for the Lord, because one day I was having a conversation with her and I was I was joking with her, and I I was like, let me see um the outfit that you have, because I know you get I know you went in there and got dressed for Jesus. So when she came out, I took pictures of her, and I mean she would she was dressed to the nines from her hat all the way down to her shoes to her matching bag, and and that's the way that I always remembered them when it came time for them to go to church, them to go to fellowship, things that they were doing for God, they were always dressed in the most brightly colored and the designs and the colors and the coordination, but they were dressed because they were like, I'm going in representation of the Lord that I represent, and I'm gonna dress my best.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_00And that's what it was about. So that was part of the emphasis behind um Dylan's perception because we didn't initially think that we were going to do clothing or we were going to do retail, the Lord said no, this is what I want y'all to do. And it has to do with the fact of how he sees us, how we're supposed to adorn ourselves, that we look more like him, not like the world. And a lot of people have a misconception that just because you're saved and you're in the kingdom, that fashion is not supposed to be fashion. Um it's not supposed to be bright and colorful, and the Lord that we serve is amazing. And everything he does is bright and colorful, and it shows his joy, his peace, his love that he has towards us. So that is the basis behind why um we got into clothing and retail and is to express the fact that, you know, even though that we're believers, um, we walk around wearing our faith boldly and authentically through streetwear, and that it's supposed to speak to others the life that we live and why we live that life confidently and with purpose.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, well said. And I was thinking about Apostle's mother, and she I think her favorite color was yellow, if I'm not mistaken. Yellow was her favorite color, and yellow is a beautiful color. I I don't think I ever loved yellow as much until I found out that that was her favorite color. And I was like, you know what? Yellow is not too bad. But like you said, you guys. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Jessie had two. She had she used to love like the canary color, yellow, and she loved royal blue.
SPEAKER_01Wow.
SPEAKER_00Those were her two colors. Yes.
SPEAKER_01Oh, she liked Ohio blue as well. Wow.
SPEAKER_00Mm-hmm. It's it's amazing how that her colors were that. My mother's were um royal purple and red. And if you notice that the colors in the ministry are literally royal blue, royal purple, and red.
SPEAKER_01My colors are royal blue and purple. So at least I I'll fall in line with uh with the colors in anyway. But that that's so amazing to to know that you know how you you all came about. I'm trying to keep from saying you guys. This one of my wow, and you guys if I can cut out those words, I'll be good. But that's how you all came about with the the different colors, because when you look at your different online presence with dynamous perception, it is a very, very colorful now that you explained it. Boy, my eyes is like my eyes open to all colors all of a sudden. It my eyes just opened now, like, oh wow, that's why they got all the different colors now. And it was a background behind it, which is always good to have a background behind it. So, and so do you do you have now I I I want to ask this question, do you have a particular item on in your store that that sells the most, or do you have a favorite yourself, uh Profitist? Do you have a favorite yourself or do you just love them all?
SPEAKER_00Well, my my favorites are always the shirts.
Visual Identity And Ministry Seal
SPEAKER_00And my and the reason why is because I'm very expressive and they're always a convince conversation starter, especially depending on what the shirt itself says. And then if the shirt has a has something on the front and the back, people will take the time to look and be like, oh, wait a minute, there's something else on the back as well, because you you'll have a bold point in the front, and then the rest of it is like, ah, on the back side. Because, like, we have a shirt um that literally says, obey God. But if people look, there's actually three different shirts, and on the back it says, even if they don't get it.
SPEAKER_01Oh wow, and then have something on the back.
SPEAKER_00Right, it's a mindset of people to do whatever it is that the Lord told you to do because everybody has a different calling. Everybody has their own purpose that's given them, and everybody's not meant to understand what that purpose is. And on the the three different shirts we actually have um it's a black female with red hair, and then I have another one where there is a black guy and he has like blue. Um he has like blue in his in his hair, and like the the design has blue in it, and then I have another one of she could be a mixed color type female, and she has blonde hair with red streaks. And it's like that for a reason because the way that people are, we were designed to be different. And people always assume that you're supposed to look this is that carbon copy of a thing, but God made us different and he made us expressive. He just told us to be modest. He didn't say we had to be plain or it had to be boring because he's colorful, and so are we. So I'm more of a I like to wear bright colors, and uh a lot of people don't understand too, it's an automatic mood changer. The colors that you wear, the brighter the color, the brighter the mood, and that it it is because it catches your eyes, it changes your mood. So if you see a lot of people that like to wear drab colors or black or whatever, you can tell the difference between their mood and somebody who wears bright colors all the time. And the way a person looks and the way that person feels dictates their whole day. And I'm like, okay, the Lord gave me joy. I'm not trying to give my joy to anybody. So I I particularly love to wear bright colors because it is a move brightener.
SPEAKER_01Right. And you said something earlier, um, in the beginning of the podcast, how you know a lot of people and a lot of people think this way that, you know, if you're serving the Lord, that your supposed to be boring, wear these boring old clothes and just look dry up and walk around, head hanging down, but you know, dressing modest is number one, but also like you said, with the beautiful colors that that makes it just you you expressed it so so very wonderful. I I really like the way you express that because a lot of people think it's supposed to be boring, you know, that you're walking around boring with boring clothes, boring colors, but boring style, I should call it. But I I like the way you expressed that. I really do. I like the way you expressed that in the beginning. Go ahead, you're about to say something.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I I was about to say, and the the one of the main things about the fact of it being streetwear is because it says that we're it the word tells us about, you know, going out into the hidden highways and compelling souls to come in. Another reason um I love the fact of the streetwear is because it's like one of the most expressive styles of clothing. Also, we tend to come across like elderly people or smaller children. And the thing about um children in in their innocence is that they're able to be able to tell whether or not they're dealing with a good spirit or a bad spirit. And I tend to be around children that always want to come up and say hi. You know, children like to touch and like to feel and say hi and because they're just naturally friendly. So even with that, especially if you're in ministry and you're dealing with a lot of different people during the day, you don't have to worry about per se um people say like getting their clothes per se messed up, you wouldn't be able to tell because they're street wear. So you're not afraid for people to come up and be like, especially little kids, because little kids like to touch and say, Hi, how are you? And hello. So Um, I like it also because it's comfortable. You just never know where you might be, and who you might be around, and it it surprises to people. Um, the messages that they see on the clothing, um, as well as the hat. I like the hat. I'm not per se a hat wearer, but um apostle likes the hats. And all of them have a a different meaning behind them. None of the designs that are created on any of uh the gear is just random. It was purpose-given. Um, and there's always purpose behind the message that's written on it. So it is to create thought-provoking
Launching The Faith-Based Streetwear Brand
SPEAKER_00ideas in people. Make them want to go research a thing, or just even just a conversation starter. Because like uh one of the search that God gave was uh is we have a couple certs that say drip, but they they say drip in different ways. And one of them literally says drip with purpose. People are always talking about a dormant, and that's literally what your clothing is. It's an adorment, it's the way in which you present yourself. Um and the drip that we're trying to present is what we look like in Christ. So the shirt literally says drip with purpose, and is it has like multi-tie-dye on the front. But the the schematics behind it is that if you notice, the colors are camouflage colors.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And you know, we're called the battle. So they're they're they're decorated with camouflage colour colors in the mindset of being prepared for whatever battle you might have to take on, whether it's natural or spiritual. But that's that's a little different thought, but that's what the Lord gave us when he gave me that particular shirt that says dripped with purpose.
SPEAKER_01Wow. So uh like say if for instance I want I don't know if you got if you all do this, like if say if I want to order a a sweater or a shirt and I have like the name of the podcast or something on there, do you do that? Is that something you all um offer or is that not something that you offer?
SPEAKER_00If you want to have the name on the podcast. Well you mean a service. It's not it's not something that we offer. Now, if you and I want to get together, most definitely we can do something for the podcast. But as far as a service right now, no, that's not something that we as Dumberceptions offer at the time.
SPEAKER_01Okay, yeah, that's what I was wondering. Uh because some people ask me, uh, uh can will they put on the shirt, like put my name on there, the name of my my uh school or all of that. I said, I don't think so, but I can ask of ask anyway. And um, I thought I'd ask, you know, using the podcast, I went to ask in that in that order. And do you guys have a lot of sales that you go out that you do? Do you have like do you offer sales, you know, like so much off or percentage off or is that how how do you go about that?
SPEAKER_00Actually, we do. Um, people can either check our website, www.dunisperception.com, or they can check either out our social media, whether it's on Instagram or Facebook. We might have pop-up sales, um, we might have special releases that we had um of new inventory. Uh it may be just a special promotion going on or a celebration, and we'll pop up with one. So it's just, you know, keeping your eyes peeled to see when we might pop up with a sale because it could be at any given time.
SPEAKER_01I have a very popular commercial going on. You got your commercial is the first one in this podcast that people hear it, listen to. They hear it in it's I'll never forget W. Not the news production. And that's that's the first commercial, you know, in this podcast that people are going to hear in this podcast. So I just want you all to know that I I really have a great belief in what you're doing and you know, it's just so good to have a conversation with you. We're not over yet, but I'm just saying it's so good to sit here and speak with you to you know, to find out more, you know, because I'm learning more, you know, things I didn't know about the company, except knowing that, you know, it's uh biblical based on the Bible and it the principles and the morals and the modesty of the Bible and of those who uh have gone on to be with the Lord. Uh some things I knew, but a lot of things I didn't know that you brought forth uh of is bringing forth today is just absolutely amazing. Now that just makes me want to go and put an
Color, Joy, And Modesty In Fashion
SPEAKER_01order for real. Now that I really know, you know, like, you know, everything you just said. Oh my goodness. So I think my question my next question was really uh oh go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, you go ahead.
SPEAKER_00Well, speaking of since you you were talking about um promotions, um, and we're we're grateful for the collaboration with your show. We have um when people come to the site and they actually sign up, they get 15% off that they can use right then on their first purchase. So it's not that they can't get any deals or they can't get any sales, it's literally set up for them to initially start off saving money. So if they went to the website right now and signed up, they could get 15% off their purchase today.
SPEAKER_01Right. Oh, that's a good thing. So I think I want to mention that again a little bit later in the in the podcast so they'll know that hey, listen up. You just heard it. We heard it from prophecies herself. So so I noticed in a lot of the of the photos that um Apostle he wears the the different shirts and I noticed his he wearing the different shirts of from the business and I noticed that I noticed that a lot when he had on his different shirts and different things that he's wearing. You know what I noticed? I noticed on one of the pictures or video, he had on this blue, like very blue, um it was like a suit. Um is that something from the company or is that from somewhere else? But I thought that suit was just so amazing. It was it was blue, the color that that's my favorite color. It was was a blue suit. He was preaching in it. He had on blue, and you might remember this. He had on blue, and I don't know, this is still out. I was wondering, was that one of your your uh items in your company?
SPEAKER_00I would actually have to go back and see, um, depending on whether or not it was actual um suit wear because we've done different types of clothing at different times, and then God changed it up and said, Okay, now I want you to do it in this brand of way. But this is something else that people also don't know. Apostle is also a music artist. He is Dunamis Power, he's also one of our brand ambassadors. So the only brand ambassador for Dunamis Perception is Dunamis Power.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00So you would see him um in the hat and in the shirts and in the hoodies because he is a brand ambassador for Dunamis Perception.
SPEAKER_01Right. I do see him a lot in all in a different, you know, style. Even in the way that he had his hair like cut a certain way. And I I noticed that and I've never seen anyone with their hair so neat. I've seen people with their hair cut, but not in such a neat fashion as uh Apostle has, you know, has the haircut and then with the uh different gourmets, outfits that that he wear. I mean it's just just absolutely absolutely amazing. A s beautiful thing to see and to watch that the modesty that your company um brings, you know, to the public, to the uh to the uh I don't know if I want to say to the church world, but maybe yeah, to the church world. To the mask. Yeah. I mean it's just it's just amazing to see to see that, you know, and it's just wonderful. I just think it's wonderful.
SPEAKER_00It's cool that you said that because you know honestly that's a part of our vision. Part of our fit our vision is actually to, you know, to redefine the culture of fashion by merging faith and style into a global movement. And the point is to inspire people to walk in their God-given power and express their purpose unapologetically. Oh, I got tonight. To not be afraid to say, okay, I believe in God and and I believe in him boldly, and you're not gonna stop me from speaking about Jesus. And and that's the whole vision that we have that we're pushing um at doing misperception because that's what it's about. There should be no reason why I can't say, This is who I believe in, this is who I have faith in, this is what I stand on, and be ashamed about it. We are unapologetically unashamed about who we believe in, and that's our vision. And so that people will walk in their God-given power and express their purpose.
SPEAKER_01Yep. Right. And look good doing it. And look good. And absolutely look good doing it. You gotta look like like years ago, I think people really thought that that you need to like I keep bringing this up, I know, but I even I thought that at one point you gotta be boring, you gotta look boring. But no, no. So but I I just love your fashion.
Signature Shirts And Conversation Starters
SPEAKER_01I love that. So I have a question. I I something told me to write this down. Oh my god. And I did not. But I think I did uh I think I asked earlier uh where do you see the company going? I think I was about to ask that. What do you see the company going? How how far would you like to take this?
SPEAKER_00Uh, as far as the Lord wants it to go, the the main purpose behind it is to get his vision and his message out. And it's it's it's amazing that you asked about that because literally, um, we actually have a shirt that literally says, Faith is my fashion. Wow. And that's that's really what Dunis Recession is all about, your faith being your fashion. And if people don't understand how empowering that is when they begin to stand on the faith that is in Jesus Christ, their boldness comes out. Their confidence comes out. Understanding who they are in him changes how they see life in itself. And they stop having apprehensions about certain things, and they stop beating and wavering about certain things, and they're not sitting around like, maybe I should, maybe I there they become more concrete in what they believe and how they should stand. And that's what it's about because as long as you don't know who you are and who you are, you won't know where you stand. And when you don't know that the enemy does nothing but use that against you to keep putting you in a place of being shy, being ashamed, being afraid to say, okay, I'm grateful for how God made me, and this is how he made me, and he made me in the image that he wanted me to look like. So I'm thankful for how it is that he made me look because I don't look like nobody else. I'm an individual that he carved out himself and I look just the way he wants me to.
SPEAKER_01Right. And when you like perfectly sad, when you go out like and minister to like the different people on the streets and wherever you take your ministry, and I remember years ago, um, Prophet David Terrell used to like sell his tapes, like in the back of the tent service, he'd sell his tapes. And a lot of times he would just give out tapes or whatever. I was wondering when you uh go out on the street, do you like because you guys got a ministry, street ministry, do you like give out different like of your items, your like your shirt here, and your shoes a shirt for you, God bless you, or here's a do you do you guys uh do that sometimes?
SPEAKER_00What Well actually um depends on how the Lord has us to do it. At different times he's had us do different things. Like at a point, um, the first book that I that he had me to write, which was Soldiers for Christ, a soldier's manual, the initial purpose of that book was to empower people um with the the message that he wanted them to have. Um and we published the book, um, order so many copies of it, and God had us to pass those out along with tracks. Um, and I and most old school people and some new ones might understand what a track is. And it's it's basically a small little pamphlet telling the people more about a certain topic and the word like salvation or deliverance or things like that. And it's to draw their attention more to the word of God. Um at any given time, depending on what the Lord may say, we may have giveaways, we may give away handbags, we may give away um peas, we may give away hoodies. It just depends on what the Lord gives us for that season. Because the main purpose is about getting the message out. And for the most part, of Dunamin's perception, um, our goal is to help, you know, cause the word of God to go further. So part of our um proceeds or what we donate to the ministry is for the purpose of causing the word of God to go further. Right. So it's not just about, you know, the clothing and the brand itself, but it's about getting God's word out there. So a portion of the proceeds from the business actually goes towards pushing the ministry and getting the word out further because he is called to the nation. So we're trying to get the message that God gave him to the nation.
SPEAKER_01Right. Do the clothing. Wow. Now speaking of books, it's a whole nother can of diamonds, and they're gonna say worms, but speaking of books, you um you wrote a book uh some years back now. It's I don't know which exactly which year it was. Was it 17 or 16? You wrote a book.
SPEAKER_00Right. It was actually um 2015, and God gave me um the book called Soldiers for Christ, a soldiers manual, and it is a kind of like a cliff note version of important things in the Bible. It's not to take away from the Bible, it's not to keep people where they only read that and not the Bible. The purpose of it is to pull out key points um to remind people whether they're new converts or people that've been in in the menstrual and a church for a long period of time, of the main um tactics that the enemy comes with and their main purpose for being in the kingdom, what their their life is supposed to be about, what is the purpose of their life, you know. Understand that they're called to suffer, that God gave them power on the inside of them, um, that God gave them the ability, you know, to look like him and then turn around and show that seed into another person that they may look like God. It's it's is is key points to remind them of the key things in the Bible about what God says about his people and to always be on guard for the tactics of the enemy.
SPEAKER_01It was it was a great book because I remember interviewing you for my radio show about your book. I'll never forget it. I mean, I still got that on on Heart Drive, on my heart drive.
Drip With Purpose And Battle Imagery
SPEAKER_01But um, do you think you'll be writing any more books in like in the future? I know it's gotta be up to God, but I'm just saying.
SPEAKER_00Actually, I have I actually have um a couple of publications that I will be releasing. Lord, will I be releasing this coming year in 2026? Um, I will also have a new book that'll be coming out this year in 2026. So um and they will more than likely all be on Amazon.
SPEAKER_01Okay, so that's three books. Three books there. Boy, let me know. Please let me know. Because I guess I enjoyed the last one, you know, and you was on my on my uh show back then, and to come think about it, you it was just it was good. It was fun because Laura she helped kind of set everything up. And um she used to always just get all of my stuff together, things I had to do myself now. She would she would get everything together so by the time I spoke with people, she already had everything together. All I had to do was just, you know, just talk to the person or interview the person. But I remember her getting that together for me and you know, she's telling me about the book and she's told me everything what it was about, so I already knew what to expect. Oh my god, I missed that because I have to now go through there and just try to figure these things out or go through there and just you know, read myself. Given my schedule, crazy busy as it is, I still have to do it because it's a part of everything. But I missed that about her. And I think I'm gonna go and pull that up because it reminds it's gonna it's remind me of you know what she did her work. And but yeah, that was a that was a really, really good book. I I look forward to your new books. Oh my goodness.
SPEAKER_00Um I look quite and make sure you have your highlighter ready because this one will be um it will be a little thicker than the last one.
SPEAKER_01Okay, look, I uh and would it be on Audible on the Audible books where they like or or you just gotta just go through there and like read it?
SPEAKER_00Um no. When I uh when I when I release it and put it on Amazon, I will make sure that it it is also audible. Okay.
SPEAKER_01Mm-hmm. Okay, that that works because and I think what I was trying to say is like like audible, but like would it be like audiobook? Would it be like audio book two where where you can hear it read or or is that something that you may you might not really offer?
SPEAKER_00It kind of just depends on on it depends on the platform in in itself because you you have some actual um devices or apps that when you get the books that it does it has it set to where it can read it for you. Right. So it just kinda depends on the time when when when it when we release it, because a lot of people have the devices because of when they just simply download it, the device itself has the options on the inside where it will auto uh will read it to you audibly.
SPEAKER_01Oh, okay, that would be wonderful. I like that. I'm sorry, it just kept on flop down on my notes. I gotta pull my notes from under him. He's heavy, breast and it went there and flopped on my notes and the other day he sneezed right at the end of my pipe. I was gonna take it out, but I wouldn't say it in there. He just it right at the end, as I got through to me. I don't want people to think that's me sneezing. It wasn't me, it was Brexit. Now he's getting close to me again. I don't want to save this time.
SPEAKER_00He said he came back.
SPEAKER_01So anyway, Prophet, is there anything else that you would like to talk about? Because or or did I mention everything? I I hope I covered quite a bit. I don't know if I did. Um I do have some other interviews today, but um they have kind of been pushed back just slightly. But did you have anything else that you want to talk about about your business?
SPEAKER_00Um, the only other thing that I have is that actually when you go to our website, we actually have a blog that is on the website and is the um it's to have inspiration. So we're actually incorporating the word itself onto the website. So not only is it on the clothes, but you're actually getting, you know, nuggets added to your week when you go in and check in on the blog. So I would just say make sure to check that out when you go to the website and you're looking around. Don't forget to check out the blog and see what the current word for the week may be.
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah, word for the week. That's nice. And so, and then you do have a blog at your website. Oh, I forgot because you mentioned about your website. Um, you also I don't know if this is something you that you offer, but do you build websites or is it this that's something you don't really offer?
SPEAKER_00Um, at the moment, no, that's not something I really offer at the time. Uh, and yes, we actually did build our website. Um, I thank God for our own in-house IT. Um, but which is a tremendous blessing. Um, I thank God for that God used um our son to make that happen.
Custom Orders, Sales, And Website Offers
SPEAKER_00So it will it it it I got extra hands on deck, which is always a blessing. Um, and and he's a believer, so we we got a triple portion of hands on deck to do what we need to do to get done for doom's perception. But um as far as like serious consultation on that, it it just depends on the person. I would just say just reach out. We have a contact page as well. Any questions that they might want to know or any information they want want to request, they can simply just shoot us um a message on our contact page, and we can just reach back out and we can just take it on a case-by-case basis.
SPEAKER_01And you know, that's great. You know, your kids are really smart. And I I was watching this video where um Apostle was sitting on this bed and then he turned into this something, I guess a a a it was like a cartoon kind of yeah, it's yeah it's a song.
SPEAKER_00He's the warrior, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Okay, I didn't mean to say that something.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that's one of his videos for um uh Dunamus Power. Um the song is called For My Crown. Um, and if people listen to the lyrics in the beginning, he's literally talking about you hear the words when he says Mama taught me to pray. He's talking about his grandmother and his mother. That's where that those words came from.
SPEAKER_01Wow. Yeah, I know that that video is uh man, that video is deep, and then it's like he's being fought in the video. But in the end, in the end he he comes out victorious, and uh from my understanding, is it is that one of the ones that your your son helped uh produce or it is. Yeah, he did a great job. Oh my god, just to make that come to light because Apostle would sit there in the bed and by the time he fell backward, then he had already turned into that warrior. And then it just changes over throughout. I mean that was a great video.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, we we we had a lot of fun with that one. We actually did. And the the storyline itself. Um, if you look inside of the video in the background, as you start to near the end, you will see uh a grandmother sitting in a rocking chair and she's clapping her hand, and behind her is Psalm 91. And we did that in in remembrance did that in remembrance of Hester Sworn. That's what it's for.
SPEAKER_01I'm gonna go back and I'm gonna watch that again because when I first watched it, I had to watch it like four or five times because it it's like so animated. It's so manual did a great job. It it's such a great video that I'm like, wow, this video is amazing. And it just it it goes from the the real person and then it it turns into this like cartoon characters, like biblical. I mean, it's amazing. I mean, I I wouldn't be surprised if something like that wouldn't get some kind of award because it it was is he created it in such a beautiful way. He really did. Such talent. Oh my goodness. And your daughter too, got great talent as well. He put together some stuff for me in the past, and I still use it. Only thing is I couldn't use one of them, but she put some stuff together for me, and it just gave me an idea, and I was like, Okay, all I can say is, Wow, Apple don't fall apart from the tree.
SPEAKER_00We we thank God that and then that's what it's about. A lot of, you know, God's people have gifts and talents and different things that, you know, he's put on the inside of them, and it's about them seeing the vision that he put on the inside of them. And a lot of that vision starts with them understanding who it is that he created them to be. And a lot of times we start with our outward appearance before we start with our inward one. And the dunner's perception, um, the the the premise behind that is just that to help with both the inward and the outward. Right. So you begin to have in your mindset that seed that, okay, positive thoughts and you know, reassuring thoughts and reassuring affirmations and um what we call, I call them uh spiritual blessings because they're they're really spiritual seeds. And when that begins to take root and take hold and starts to grow, then people go from their outward, uh, what's on the out outside of them to what's on the inside of them, and both begin to change, the inside and the outside. So it's more about people seeing how God made them to be and getting to that point where they're comfortable and saying, okay, this is how he made me, this is how he told me to be, this is how he wants me to express the person that he created me to be. And
Brand Ambassador, Music, And Media
SPEAKER_00that's when people start to dive into really the talents that they were given and start to utilize those more for the kingdom, and God shows them how to cause that thing to go from a seed to a tree and just grow.
SPEAKER_01Oh my goodness, and we've almost done an hour. We've almost done 60 minutes. This is cool. This is so cool. And I must say I've really enjoyed having you on today because I think we've been planning this for a minute, but you know, you gotta be go according to what the Lori wants. But it's just it's been such a pleasure to to sit here and have a conversation with you about uh dilemma's perception because I you know I've learned a lot today. I mean I certain things I I knew, but I'll say on a scale of one to ten, I maybe I knew maybe four percent. And today you just kind of added the other six percent in there because I a lot of things I didn't know, and now my eyes open more clearly to what the company is all about. Um, reminding me now when I see it, all of the bright colors, and it just just the story behind the company means a whole lot. So I truly thank you for being on the podcast today. I really do.
SPEAKER_00I oh I hope you're coming back. Most most definitely, especially with the new year coming up and the different things that God um has us doing, especially with the different releases of publications and um books that he's doing. And another thing I want to point out is this um what a lot of people do do not understand is anything that we own or possess, we have to be mindful of who created it and why they created it, because it can cause us to walk in things that are not pleasing to God. Um, but that may be on another podcast through a through apostle because that's a whole nother different spiritual teaching. But that's that that's that's the thing, you know, for kingdom people, kingdom people should be wearing kingdom things, and that that says a lot because it says that in the word, how can two walk together except they be agreed? Well, if I know I'm a believer, then I'm trying to wear things that I know that are created by other believers because we have the same belief and we believe in the same thing, and I'm not doing anything to try to cause you to walk in error or any type of way, type of way that's not pleasing to God. Everything that we do is for his purpose and for his will and for the betterment of his people and his kingdom. So amen.
SPEAKER_01Wow. Amen. It's been a wonderful, let me look here. It's been a wonderful clean near 60 minutes here. It's near been a wonderful um conversation here, and so much has been covered, everyone. So um can you go ahead and give them your your your address again? I'm gonna put it in the write up, but if you want to go ahead and give them a place that they can contact um the business, that would be wonderful.
SPEAKER_00Yes. Our website is w dot doomusperception.com. If you just want to just reach out to us or ask us anything or just contact us, our direct email is www. Oh, I'm sorry. Our direct email is doomus perception at gmail.com.
SPEAKER_01There you go. So you heard it from Prophet's Roberta Ford. She's my guest here today, and boy, what a guess. I mean, it looks like we just went through this like butter. Like like like water on the duck's back. It is I look very little bit at the notes I had and you look at all of my notes. And as we all know, my cat barks and is laid down on the other notes that I was gonna ask, but I pr you pretty much you the beautiful thing about this, you covered questions, and that's happened uh several times before on other podcasts. I like when a person can cover what I'm about to ask, and you did that, you covered the questions that I have down here. Like, oh my god, I didn't have to even go there. So thank you so much for being on the podcast today. It should be out um post it tonight. I believe it would be out tonight. So and then if you share it, that would be wonderful.
SPEAKER_00Most definitely. And I'm I'm so grateful. You know, this is just a display of the gifts that the Lord gave you, and you're you're you're fluent in what you do and how you do it. So I try to be prepared for what it is that you do and just compliment along the way. So I thank you so very much for the interview and the opportunity.
SPEAKER_01You're so welcome, so welcome. And uh please give my love to the apostle. Let him know that you know I'm praying with him, praying for him, continuing to support you all. And I believe in your ministry, and I thank God for your ministry because, you know, when someone is is is going forward like you all are doing with the ministry,
Vision: Unapologetic Faith And Culture
SPEAKER_01it's good to support that because you know, God bless you when you do that, when you support his people. So I I I can truly say he has blessed, he has blessed me. He's blessed me by supporting you all and supporting some others. So I just wanted you to know that I've said it before, I believe, but um he's he's blessed me. Sometimes I'd be like, uh, should I should I go ahead and make that little extra and then I go ahead and do it and then turn around and God already has opened the door. So I just want y'all to know I appreciate what you're doing. In your business, in your ministry, I be a chick outspeed. Thank you so much.
SPEAKER_00Thank you, and thank you so much, and thank you for the platform as well.
SPEAKER_01You're very welcome. So you pray for me as I pray for you, and we're gonna say I like to say later saying goodbye. But I think we're gonna just say later. What are you you gonna say something else? Later, Gina. Okay, later and God bless you. So there you have it. It's all we we're all done. I'm gonna put all everything in the write up, as I said, and the podcast would be out in a few hours. Might be before that, but it'll be out shortly. Thanks again. Later.
