Big news, honest energy, and a clear path forward—this update sets the tone for what’s next. We open the door on Season Nine, slated for the second week of February, and share why our show stays unscripted by choice: real people, real stories, no polish required. The goal hasn’t changed—give guests a platform and let you hear their lives in their own words—but the scope is growing with musicians, ministers, business owners, evangelists, and authors ready to step up to the mic.

We also preview a timely companion: a listener’s guide to voting for iHeart’s top podcasts. I’m not on the ballot this year, and that’s fine. New platform, same commitment to community. I’ll point you to standout shows and the exact place to cast your vote, so you can support the creators who move you. Think of it as a curated map for discovering fresh voices and boosting the podcasts that deserve a wider audience.

On the personal front, I’m stepping back into entrepreneurship with a new venture rooted in my strengths and built to serve many. I talk about why self‑employment keeps calling—owning your hours, carrying the weight and the freedom, and eventually hiring great people to grow the work. If you’ve felt that pull to build, you’ll hear practical optimism here: start with what you do well, keep it clean and compliant, and design your days around meaningful impact.

Season Eight’s gratitude runs through every moment—guests who shared openly, listeners who supported monthly, and friends who spread the word. Now we’re turning that momentum into a bigger table for more stories. If you love human‑centered conversations, authentic voices, and a show that shines light on everyday greatness, you’re in the right place. Subscribe, share with a friend, and leave a review to help more listeners find these stories. What guest should we bring on next?

SPEAKER_00:

Hello and welcome back to another episode of Regina's Swaring Audio Series Presents. I have more yet more exciting news. Now my last episode I spoke about uh season nine. I'm really excited about season nine because I have some really wonderful guests coming up and joining me on season nine. I'm so happy about that. I'm so happy about that. But I'll be doing a podcast before season nine. I'll be doing a podcast within the next week. As a matter of fact, um iHeartRadio got iHeart Podcasts, uh got the top podcasters. Now you get a chance to choose your top podcasts. Your top podcast. And so no, I'm not in there, guys. I'm not in there. Just I'm I'm new. I'm new to the game over here, okay? But there are really great shows, and I'm going to um give you those um places where you can go vote. You can go vote for your favorite uh iHeart podcasts, and there are some really good ones in there too. So you don't want to miss it. Um that's gonna be my next that's gonna be my very next podcast. This podcast I want to continue to uh fill you in on some things that I have um in store in my own life. Yeah. I am truly excited about other than uh season nine, uh I'm excited about the radio show, possibly. And again I say possibly, but I'm really super excited about a new um business project um that I'm about to get started as well. You know, it's nothing greater than working for yourself. I mean you can work for other people and that's really good and you can have fun doing that, but to be your own boss is absolutely the best thing. Nothing greater than that to me. If you can do that, if it's something that you want to do or wish to do. And you know, I've tried every corner of working with other people and working for other people, and you know, it's worked out, it's worked out why fine fine. As good as a wine, it's workout fine, it's workout fine, but sometimes you just have to branch out and do it yourself. And I've worked for myself before, you know, had different businesses over the years, and um and then sometimes I just want to work with people again. But there is absolutely nothing greater than working for yourself. Nothing greater than that. I mean it's hard work, but then still is working for other people. When you work for other people, that's hard work too. When you work for yourself, you can call your own hours, uh make your own hours, um, you know, just of course keep your taxes and stuff paid, but for the most part, it's a great thing. So um I will have I'll be starting something. I don't want to go into detail. I I don't want to go into detail, but I will say this, that I'll be starting up a new business venture project very soon. Um it's something that I'm very well skilled in, very good at at that, and it's something that I really enjoy. So and then I can hire some other people at some time at some part of a time or the other, I'll be able to hire other people as well, you know. So and I just want to share that with you. I I don't want to hold this podcast too long, it's already going on five minutes. You see how quickly time can get past you? It just jump in and it's like, whoa, it's almost over. Oh my god. So but yeah, starting a new business, um, you know, my family uh have had cleaning services and have had so many different uh types of businesses in the past, and I myself have had businesses and kind of wanted to get back into the workforce and do things with other people, but I'm like, you know, no, I just want to do it myself again and just this time just really hire enough people where I can really enjoy the you know the fruits of the labor, you know. And if you do that, you can do that, if that makes any sense. So I would be uh starting a new um a very, very new business uh is something that something that'd be very beneficial to many, many, many, many people. And it would also be able to hire some people that you know that is really skilled in, you know, the job itself. And yeah, that's about all I can say about it right now. I'm really happy about it. Um so I just wanted to share that a little bit with you. Now, a little bit more about season nine. Um, gonna start that the week season nine will be starting up the week of uh Valentine's week. So this I'm looking intensively at the second week of February. So season nine will be starting up the second week of February, February. My god give my words so cluttered up tonight. My goodness. So, but um, but I truly again thank everyone who is a part of season eight. You made season eight so sweet, so beautiful, so amazing. And I gotta thank you for it. If you if you were a part of season eight, I truly thank you. Had great ministers' hats, some singers had some um just different people came on to talk about the story, story, and tell the story. Got my voice just trying to go. And so it's really amazing. Yeah, I had the rescue cat incorporated in Fairyville, Georgia. And just it was just really cool. I mean I can't beat that. What how what great time that I had in season eight. Had some authors to come forth and it was just really nice, you know, it was just really nice. So so looking forward to season nine and sharing more stories, bringing you more stories, because once upon a time I brought you stories, stories from all walks of life. Then I decided to bring you bringing you stories of people's stories from all walks of life. And to me, bringing you people's stories from all walks of life is so much more fun because I get a chance to let you let them tell you their story. And did I say that right? I don't know if I said it right, but they get a chance to tell their story. I think that's what I'm trying to say, and you get a chance to check it out. So I love that part. So and nothing rehearsed, we just do it like just straight away, and and that's the best part. When you do it authentically without all of the grand rehearsals or whatever, you just do it, just do it, you know. So yeah, season eight was really beautiful, but season nine, um, I have musicians, I have ministers, evangelists, um, business owners, um more authors, again, you know, just more wonderful people, you know, and just looking forward to that. You just don't know what a privilege and thrill I get out of bringing you bringing you stories of people from all walks of life. My slogan is bringing you stories of people from all walks of life. I love that because all people need is a platform to tell a story. There's so many different stories out there, and all people need is just a platform to be able to tell their story, and I'm so happy that my podcast is the place to tell your story. Anyways, I will be announcing in one of my podcasts. I'm gonna do a podcast about um iHeartRadio top podcast. Top podcast, yeah. You get to vote. I'll be giving you the name of names of the different podcasters and uh taking you to a place where you can actually go and vote for your favorite podcasters. Now I'm sure a lot of people are sitting back saying, Well, wh why aren't you in there? Guys, guys, come on. I just started here. Sure, I've been in podcasting for several years, but I was at another platform. So it's not so much about me coming over here, being at the top of the game yet. I'm enjoying this, I'm soaking up every bit of experience that I can, enjoying it, and sharing other people's work. So I cannot wait to uh do a podcast about the top podcasters and give you a place where you can vote for the top podcasters. Yay! So uh be looking for that podcast. That will actually be the next podcast, I think it will be. Yeah, that will be the next podcast. So the top podcasters, iHeartRadio podcasters for this past year. So um, and I'll be bringing you that podcast um within the next week. So thank you all again for um joining me. Thank you for supporting my podcast. I do appreciate it. I guess I give shout-outs a whole lot. So my shout out this time is just saying thank you to everyone who is a part of my podcast, and being a part of my podcast is the ones who supports it monthly, who shares it, who tell your friends about it, who tells your family about it. I appreciate you. I thank you. Means a lot, just don't know. I'm Regina Sorian. I just wanted to give a little update on some things that I got going on, uh, some things that's coming up in my life, and let you know that I'm really happy about these things. So I want to thank you all again for being a part of my journey and my podcast. Take care and I hope to talk to you very, very soon.
