Regina shares a moment from work where someone who didn’t believe in women preachers stayed to listen and was deeply moved, opening up a bigger question: who might God be reaching through your voice, your story, or your simple decision to show up?

Pastor Tammie also takes us into the practical side of purpose through Christian entrepreneurship and resilience. She shares how her daughter’s food allergies led her to create homemade, organic, tomato-based sauces and seasonings, eventually pushing her toward culinary school, catering, and a rebuilt brand with big goals like a food truck and a future restaurant. Oh God, that's so powerful. That prayer, oh my God. That prayer is so powerful, you know. I I think I've mentioned this before, but you put her in the mind of Mother A. B. Jackson. Jesus The way you prayed that anointing. And I don't I don't say this very lightly, I mean this from my heart. But I can just hear you. I remember one time I was listening to you, um, it was maybe a year after Laura had passed away, and and I just uh came across something that you were doing online and you would you were just doing it like maybe two or three minutes. I I sat there and I was crying like a baby. I was like, God, this woman is anointed, you know? And God had paid and God has taken you higher. That is like you're sure remind when I hear you pray I have that same feeling and God is my witness. When Mother Jackson used to pray for us in private or wherever she played, I have that same feel I feel that same just something just go all over me. Jesus. Ooh, that's not green. That's a that's one of those high anointings. I'm really serious about that. I thank God for you. I thank God for you so much. I thank God. You ministry-wise, and he gave me just a couple of people, and you were one of those people, and I said, God, I'm gonna support their ministry because you know I know you're real. I I just know you're real. I'm thinking about that last podcast, Pastor. Oh God, Jesus, you said I mean words cannot my words cannot even express how I really feel in my heart right now, the things that God gave you on that last podcast.

I mean, when you fight, you know, here I am playing it at work and people are listening and they're looking at it like, oh my god. One guy he he he said he didn't believe in women preachers in the past, some guy at work. That guy was standing up there listening, and I if I'm not mistaken, I thought he was he was crying. I really do. But I know he was standing there and listening. So if you still believe in women creatures or whatever, you you're gonna go out of the go out of the room. He stood there and he just sat down and listened. At that one, God is giving you. It was t I know it was touching him. If he asked me, he said, Well, who's the who is the creature on there? Who's the preacher? I said, Her name is Pastor Tammy Watt. Pastor Tammy Watt. He said, That's a young lady. And I said, She is being used by God. I said, She sings, she also seen. I said, but she she's a she's a preacher. He asked me, he said, Well, who wow wow? We said, Wow, who was that? Wow.

Yes, he can. Yes, he can. That's what he tell us. He said, be a light, be a witness. All God wants us to do is to be a willing vessel. He said, All you need to do is open your mouth and I'll fill it because you never know what God, what someone needs to hear, but God knows. You never know what someone is standing in the need of in that moment. And we as vessels have to be so sensitive to the Holy Spirit that it's not, it has nothing to do with what you want to say, but it's all about what God has to say. You know, it's no longer about you and I, Sister Regina. It's all about Jesus, it's all about him being magnified, him being glorified. I tell anybody that sees me, that has heard me minister, I say, listen, I'm nothing. I'm a rich undone without his holy grace. I'm nothing without the Holy Spirit. I'm just a filthy rag without the Holy Spirit. And when people see me, you know, because I'm so short in stature, you know. And then when the Holy Ghost take over, they be like, oh my God. And I'm telling you, there's nothing that Tammy can do. I'm just timid without the Holy Spirit. I am nothing without him. But it's so important as ministers of the gospel to be so sensitive to the Holy Spirit that if God, um, even if you think you have prepared something to say or prepared a program or a plan, but this is how we're gonna do it. And the Holy Spirit will come and say, mm-mm, bless shift because someone in there is broken. Oh God, I hear your singles. Someone in the midst needs healing, somebody needs deliverance, somebody has been struggling for years, like the woman with the issue of blood, and need to be made whole. Somebody, uh God, needs me, and I need you to get out of the way and allow me to take over so they can get what they need. So they will not leave the same way they came in. So that when they opened up your link and listen to your podcast, they will not be the same way the world they were before they hit God played. That's what we are God for. You never know who who is listening and who needs to know God, it's not about me, it's not about them, but it's all about Him, Him being magnified, Him being glorified. That's what it's all about. That's what limitless worship is about.

Yes, ma'am. I because I I know it's so much that we, you know, we we really want to get, you know, to um cover today. And I I I we can't help when we think about how good God has been to us. You know, we have been through some things in our life, and and when, you know, we look back over what God has delivered us from, we can't help but to be radical. Why would I let the rock cry out for me when he's been so mighty? Yeah, God. Why would we? Why would we sit down on the miracle, signs, and wonders that that he has given us, that he has bestowed upon us? Why will we be silent? A songwriter said, I will not be silent. Says as long as I'm breathing, as long as I'm breathing, I got breath in my body, I will not be silent. But I will always give him glory, always worship him. He alone is worthy. He's so deserving, so much more. We owe him so much. Our little worship and our little adoration ain't good enough, it ain't big enough.

A Willing Vessel And Holy Sensitivity

Building A Culinary Business From Need

Speak God. I'm not stopping, ain't gonna try to with when the men and women of God is over here speaking. God, my eyes be just looking up to heaven, like God should have your way. Have your way, because that last podcast. Oh man. Well, I think I've listened to it about ten or fifteen times, but when something's done like that, Pastor, I can't stop. I just got that so keep listening over and over. So whoo is it? I've been thinking to myself, we supposed to Laura can't hear this. But sometimes I feel like she's close by. I know she's resting and stuff, but sometimes I feel like she's still close by with me. I really do, and I and sometimes I look at Lord, did you hear that? And people might say, Go crazy, but and I just feel like she still is close, God have her have her in spirit close to me. So Yes ma'am. Yes ma'am. Lord have mercy. So Oh, so I'm I guess we're gonna try our best to um I wanna talk a little bit about your um I got a couple of things here. I wanna talk a little bit about your I think your business. Can we talk a little bit about your your business? 'Cause you have you have your own business. Yes, ma'am. So we can talk a little bit about that.

We could talk a little bit about that. So I um I cook. I am a um um a professional chef as an executive chef. I um started making my own um sauces and seasonings because my oldest daughter, this pretty much how I got into the business of catering and business of um cooking. I've always loved to cook. I'm my mom actually, believe it or not, started us in the kitchen at such a young age. Um I say I started to recall I cooked my first Thanksgiving meal around the age of uh six to ten years old. My mom would have us in the kitchen because you know back then they believed in making us work. So it didn't matter about your age. You were gonna learn how to do some things. So um I learned at a very young age, and we had pretty big families. So um as I got older and I began to have kids of my own and got married, my oldest daughter had so many um allergies and she was so allergic to so much, and she was so sick, and some of the foods and things that she wouldn't take would just really hurt her, you know, and she couldn't digest that stuff, she couldn't eat it. So I began to pray and I said, God, you know, teach me how to make homemade foods and homemade sauces and stuff that she could, you know, uh digest that that could go good with her system. So God kind of just really started showing me how to at this time I hadn't been to culinary school. It was just my training from my mom and you know what what God gave me. And so I began to make my own sauces. I I started my line of barbecue sauces, um, African sauces, um, marinaros, just little simple stuff, gravies that, you know, could go over food that make it taste a little bit better. Um I started experimenting on, yeah, experimenting on different types of foods that'll make her healthy, you know, that's the good for her system that she can digest and she's not allergic to. And from there, someone said, Oh my God, you need to put this on chefs. And I was like, okay, I'm just a home mom cook, you know, it's nothing big or mediocre. And it was like, bottle your sauces, bottle your seasonings, give it to me, and I'm gonna go and let somebody try it. And the results were like phenomenon. And so from there, I um started doing my barbecue sauces, um, um, those tea signature sauces, selling those. I did different flavors. It took off. I mean, it really took off. And so there, you know, I start introducing my cooking, and it was like, oh my God, you were in a mix. Have you ever thought about going to culinary school? I was like, I thought about it, but you know, I have my kids, you know, it's like you really should do it. So I did I'm trying to make a long story short. I went to culinary school, um, got my degree, came back out, and I began to um cater and cook and stuff like that and do different events, and God just really just built my business. And, you know, I had um, like I was telling you before, make a long story short, I um I had stopped for a while because I went through a divorce and I kind of stopped all my businesses and everything, and I I I went into this dark place, but then the Holy Spirit told me to get back up. And so this time around, as I'm developing my business again, it's called Teas Big Back Cafe because yeah, you eat my food, you're gonna be like, hold on a minute, I need to go exercise. So we revamped it as T's Big Bat Cafe. So we have Te's Signature Sauce. I'm revamping all my sauce, um, T's signature um seasonings. And I I am working on my website right now because, like I said, we are revamping everything, so it's under construction. But you can find me on social media um or uh via my um emails or whatnot. Um my website should be up and running, and I said give it about another week or so because we're trying to um move everything from the old names under my merit name to my now name. Um so that's that you know, that takes a little time with the um with um the state and everything, making sure everything is uh properly named, you know, uh and uh I guess properly stated, you know, for for um state records, business records. So that's what we're doing now. I'm trying to make sure that everything is aligned properly um and everything is legitimate um under my now name. Um but yeah, so we'll be coming soon right now. I'm looking into getting my food truck out. The Holy Spirit is just, you know, oh my god. That's what I want to do. I want to do a food truck first. Then I'm gonna continue to cater and do private events. But then I will really, really, really my goal is to get me a food truck um by the end of this year. From there, maybe uh uh in a year or two, I want to have Tea's Bit Back Cafe Restaurant somewhere. That's my goal. So um, yeah, I'm very excited about what God is doing. He's you know, put a lot of people around me who really believe in me. That's been pushing me to, you know, branch out and do this. So yeah, that's a little bit about you know, uh, my business.

On the culinary side. I love the name too. It sounds like something that you make you want it, some want something to eat. It does, doesn't it?

It does, yeah. That's what everybody said about it. Wow. So yeah. My sister and I came up with that name. Um, and the T's come from her and I. Um, she's actually um a nurse right now, um, but she really worked with my culinary skills. So yeah, so she was like, sis, you should do it. And we should name it Big Back Cafe. And she cooks too, so she'll be, you know, doing some giving me some of the recipes and ideas for some of the stuff that I have cultivated. So I was like, Okay, let it be a us thing. And she was like, Cool. So T comes Tammy and Tamara, because you know, everybody thought we were twins, but we're not. Tammy and Tamara. So it's cheese, big back cannot. Yes, ma'am.

I like how you started it too. You know, you started it, you know, because your daughter, you know, had the allergy problems and then I'm just looking at how God wrenched it right on out. Yeah.

Something so simple as just kitchen recipes to help my daughter in her uh her health battles, you know, the things that she could not eat and she loved food. But it was just so much stuff that she could not eat because of her health issues and allergies. So I had to find ways to prepare her delicious, healthy um meals, you know, that could, you know, go hand in hand with, you know, her her appetite, but yet still healthy enough where it wouldn't cause her allergies or um to flare up, you know. So and God kind of taught me, like again, I didn't have any culinary um training at the time. I trained and I asked God to teach me how to prepare her meals that wouldn't hurt her, you know, that would help build her health. And he did without any culinary experience at that time. He did. I began to do research, and that's all I did. I started writing my own cookbook, still working on my recipe book now. Um, and I'm still adding recipes to the cookbook. So that's gonna be published soon, too. Trying to publish my cookbook, also working on my actual book. I think we talked a little bit about that last time. Um, the book that I'm working on, talking about, you know, pretty much the journey of my life, uh, surviving the wilderness, the journey to my destiny. That's gonna be coming out soon. Y'all just just pray for me. I'm working on my album. So I'm a Jack of all trait, got a lot of hat from pastors, songwriter, author, you know, um so and and I'm just so grateful that God has blessed my hands to be able to mind you, um, most of the businesses that God has allowed me to start, I did not have a um professional backing when I started it. The back end didn't come until later on. And I even now with my music, I still don't have a professional backing. It's just been God that's been um blessing it, you know.

So you know, and that God, God is amazing. He, you know, like like you know what you need, you know what you need and God on my end, and I'm here praying, asking God, you know, who can I support, you know, because my sister and I used to do a lot for church. Yeah, and I want to continue doing that, but I want to make sure I'm supporting the right people. And God gave me the people to support, and you are definitely one of them. God said support her. And so, you know, every chance I get I'm going to support you because God has really blessed me financially. You know, I I can't say it on the air, but he has really, really, really blessed me. So I say, God, you know what? I'm just gonna give it right back to you because I can't beat your hearing, so I'm just gonna continue to to give it back because he's gonna come back and give you more. So oh my god, that's so over. I'm so excited about your about your um your your business, your catering business and stuff, and I just know it's gonna do well to you know, I know it's gonna do well because you you're the kind of person that you give it your all. It's just like you're you're seeing it, which we're gonna talk about your music too now, but it's just like you're singing and you're preaching. Once you get started Yes, ma'am for you. I thank God for you, Pastor Sell yeah, I heard about you know, she she got this coming up. You you be on the lookout, you wanna support her. You she's gonna give you a place where you can support and it I want you to support. Please support this this young lady, her ministry, because uh you got a lot of people out there doing a lot of different things, but some people and this person right here is worth it. It's worth it. So please support. So I can't wait. Wow to get me some of that sauce. Yes, ma'am. Oh my god. I'm vegan. I'm vegan, but I have to get that sauce that sauce sound like it's pretty good.

Organic Sauces And The Craft Behind Them

Yes, ma'am. It's it it is organic, it's tomato based. Uh everything I make from scratch. Like I everybody actually, you know, I can't I don't tell all my secrets, but you know, there's like how do you get the sauce because you know, um I it has to be low sodium, it has to be, you know, um the can't have all that sugar, can't have all that artificial stuff. So I get organic, I go to the the near the nearest um supermarkets, flea markets, like the the real markets, um, and I'll get fresh grown tomatoes from our you know markets. Um I I love to find me a farmer's market, a really good farmer's market, and I'll go get their organic tomatoes that are that are um grown without all that uh MSG or all that other kind of stuff in it. They're just naturally grown organic tomatoes, and I'll and I make all my sauces are tomato based, and every ingredient are organic ingredients that you know God just kind of showed me how to put it together. And when people taste it, they're like, Are you serious? Like, you shouldn't have this and that? You sure you don't have and I'd be like, No. They're like, You sure you don't have any sugar in it? And I'd be like, No. And we're like, what is what did you do? I was like, God taught me how to make this sauce. When I first started making my sauce, I had no professional experience at all. But I'm grateful for when I went to school, it kind of taught me some things that I could change to tweak it a little bit to be to make it a little bit more uh more sufficient. And so I learned those things, little tricks and traits to make it better. And and it has it, it made it better, but I'm still sticking to the the roots of it, what God showed me how it was in the beginning, and that's been working. I mean, every time I make my sauce, it sells out like I have people back ordering, and I'm like, you guys know how long it takes me to make a pot of sauce? It takes hours. Hours. But I'm so grateful to God. I am so grateful to God.

Yes, ma'am. I'm definitely that's what I'm trying to do, especially the with the summer coming up. I I'm definitely trying to um do more in my culinary um business. But the summer comes up, I want to do a a new fresh sauce job and kind of dealing with me on a new sauce for the summery taste, you know. So um this is a new one that I'm gonna I'm gonna try. And I'll I'm I'm gonna have to get you a bottle. I'm I'm working on it now. And when I get the name down, because I name my sauces how they taste. And once I get the name down and everything, I'll let you know what it's gonna taste like, you know.

And then God just bumped it on up. Look at God. Look at God. It's so much to talk about with you, but we're gonna we're gonna move on and talk a little bit about your your music. You know, you she's a singer and songwriter.

We already know she's a minister now, a pre preacher. She's a singer and songwriter. And she performs, I've seen her performing online in different places. God has really blessed this young lady, and I'm I'm so proud. I just say the word proud. I'm so proud to know see I s I knew her when she was little. I see her up there on their microphones. Help me like Jesus. I'm looking at that that day I'm late. Mother said, Me somebody help me, Miss Jesus.

Yes, ma'am. And that's so crazy because people say, I like again, I'm small in statue, but I have the biggest voice. I have the it was so funny. One time I was singing in a crowded uh event, and um they had tossed me the mic, and I was in the way in the back. So everybody was trying to find where is that big voice coming from? And I'm so little, everybody's standing up so they couldn't see me. And they was like, move out away.

It's amazing how God can re use you know. Last time you talked a little bit about your records now. You she has uh music out there on the market. I think you got something that you know that's out that people can purchase.

Uh just uh my album is um out, it's called Inner Worship. Um, we released that um the early 2020. I think it was 2020, 2021. We released that album. And like I said, it I'm I'm now just now getting back into um the studio again. I've been writing this, have not had the opportunity to get back into the studio. But um, my album is on um all the social media platforms, all the music platforms. And right now, uh me and my uh co-producer, Minister Wynn, you know, I you I've talked, you've seen her some of the times. If you ever watch my live and you see her on the lives with me, we are working on some new music. God has allowed us to get the opportunity to to start back working on new music and also revamping some of my old music, you know. Um, again, so like I said, in that aspect, we still have we don't have that professional backing, but God has just been gracing us to um do it ourselves. You know, we did a a studio somewhere and her and God has just been blessing her and I to uh he's been blessing us with the wisdom and knowledge to just get in there and just you know and do the work, you know. And some people say, Oh my god, it sounds like something unprofessional did. And I was like, nah, it's just me and her. You know, one of the songs.

God is in there is end up pushing those buttons. God is end up pushing the buttons, you know, to how we said it. So y'all, her music is good. Oh my gosh. She is as I was saying, she's highly anointed. You know, God has taken this woman, which I thought was highly anointed already. He just is taking her all the way up to another whole level.

And you and you write your own stuff too. She writes her own stuff. She's singing other people's songs, but she wants her own.

Yeah, write and compose my own music. Um, every song that um I have released has been written by myself. And I like I said, I have so many more. Just haven't had the opportunity to get in the studio and record. And uh Minister Wynne and uh and myself, we've composed everything. Like I'll wake up like the the Holy Spirit will um, you know, I I know I'm not the only one that the Holy Spirit like communes with in the middle of the night. He'll just come wake me up at 3 a.m. and I'd be like, Oh God, I want to go back to sleep. And he'd be like, mm-mm, I need you to get in my presence. And then he'll drop a song in my spirit, and so I'm 3 a.m. calling her, like, hey, I hear a song, and she'd be and I said, I hear that this is what I hear. And then I'm trying, I'm not a musician, like and skillful of playing instruments, but I am a musician with my voice. So I'm like, this is what I hear. And I'm like, mmm. And she'd be like, okay, let me record it. And then she'll get up the next day and just execute everything because that's what she does. She's skillful in playing instruments. You know, she plays keys, drums, she's um learning the uh lead and the bass, you know. She that's what she does. She's very skillful in playing instruments, and so I'll say, Kim, I hear this, I hear this, and she'll she'll get it together and record and say, Hey, is this what you hear? And I'll be like, Yes, that's it. And then I'll just we just put the words together and boom, the song is made.

Wow, and that's the one that I see on videos with uh uh sister Kim. Uh-huh. She be claiming the key the keyboards and everything, and she is so good. Oh my god.

Oh, she's so anointed and talented. God has really blessed her. I mean, she she's another jack of all trait. She does so much. She sings. She writes, she produces, she um, she has works up in Atlanta, but she does so much, she ministers. Uh she she has so much under her her scope. She does media, um, website, because she's the one that's actually working on my website. She's actually she does all my media releases, uh, everything. She that's ever needed flyers, websites, anything concerning your media, all your media needs, that's who you and she's under um K Rose Production. That's her company name, K. Rose Production. Um God just really blessed her too.

Um I've been pastoring for um, as a matter of fact, um our six-year pastoral anniversary is coming up August the second the second, um, the first Sunday in August. August the second is the date that God actually launched me out into the deep to become a pastor. I think I I um expounded a little bit on it the last uh podcast, where you know, I felt going into the pastoral um calling. I was like, yeah, no, I don't want that now. I'll I'll stick to singing. God, you know I can sing. I'll stick right there to singing, praise and worship. That's that's my portion. And the Holy Spirit was like, No, I called you higher. And so God pushed me out into the deep. I answered the calling on my life as pastor, and I've been pastoring for six years. Um, in August, it'll be six years. So I'm I we're definitely sending you an invitation, Sister Regina, if you are able to come. Is in Wanda Robbins. Um, God actually blessed us to a building. I was telling you about that uh last time too. He blessed us to a building in Wanda Robbins.

Um we've been, you know, God has just really been elevating us. He's been moving. We've been trying to do a lot of things in the community as well. Um something that's coming up soon. Um I'm kind of uh mixing my culinary and my pastoral together just for just briefly. We wanted to do something outside of the church. I want I was gonna prepare food and we was gonna do like um pray and pray and eat, something like that, just for the community, and everything is free of charge. Um Kim is working on um gonna work on that flyer. We're gonna put that out and get a date. I want to get a good date where everyone I'm hoping hoping to do it during the summertime, hopefully right like July when the kids are out of school, um, sometime mid-July. That's what we're looking, um, we're pushing towards mid-July on a uh Saturday. Uh, we want to get out there and I'm gonna prepare food. It's gonna be really good food. We're gonna have live music and um we're gonna have um some of the ministers of the church will, if you want to come and you know, you need prayer. Um and I'm gonna um I wanna I wanted to touch basis with my dad too. We're kind of in contact because, you know, from my home church, Jackson Temple, and see if some of the ministers there would be willing to come and help fellowship with us and pray for the community. You know, we come together and um they pray. Um, if someone needs prayer, they want to walk up and say, Hey, I want prayer. You we'll have ministers there to pray. Um, if they just want counseling, I hear I just need words of advice. We'll have some of our ministers that, you know, are you know very uh that are uh educated in that department, you know, that that are um certified in that apartment to, you know, kind of give counsel. Um and then of course there's gonna be food, music. I'm trying to do something for the kids as well, maybe have like water and um bouncy house, something, just something, something like that. But just to go back to let them know that we're not just all about the four walls because God wants that's that's the name, that's the purpose for the name of my the our the ministry that God has given us limitless worship. We're going outside of the walls, you're not limited to those walls. I want to get out in the open. I want to get out and and let the people hear the name of Jesus, you know, not just hey, come into my church. No, I don't want you to some folks will never come in between those four walls, sister. So we got to go out to the open, go let's pull in the hedges and highways. So I want to open up the doors. I want to be outside and let them hear the gospel, you know, let them hear the goodness of Jesus, let them hear um the salvation, let them hear the good news, you know, hear some music, get them to get food. So that's something that I'm working on doing. We're pushing, um, we're trying to kind of uh, like I said, um do it in July. That's what I'm hoping for. We're pushing for mid-July. Um, so just pray with us on that as that unfolds successfully. So yeah, that's something that we're doing ministry-wise too. And I want to do more like that. Um, another thing that God has allowed me to do with ministry, I want to um do an outreach for our youth because, you know, I noticed that um being in the educational um department because God allowed me to also work in in the school systems, our kids are so suffering. They're they're suffering, you know, and they let's they are, you know, falling and failing for the lack of knowledge. They don't know Jesus, they really don't know him personally as a Lord and Savior. So I wanted to do some things like arts and crafts and teaching them music, teaching them um cooking classes, you know, and also giving them the word of God. So that's something that I'm also looking into. Um I've been working with someone trying to get a grant to kind of help fund that um, that project. So that's some things that God is allowing me to do ministry-wise. So just be praying with me that everything flows away. You know, that God has given me the vision to do it. Um, like I said, um trying to work with a grant writer to get some funds to actually push that program in the community. Um so that's that's the a few things that we're doing um ministry-wise.

And you know, our young people, like you say, they they need help, and that's a good way to bring them into the church, you know, to include them in all the little activities and stuff, and you know, feeding them and you're giving them something to eat. Because see, when you say something about free food, sometimes people make us so on eating, you know. That is awesome, I hear. So give me a date because I'd love to come and you know and it and celebrate with y'all. You sent one robin, so it's not that far.
