Life Of A Female Tradie
Real stories. Real tools. Real women.
Welcome to Life Of A Female Tradie — the podcast that gives voice to the women breaking ground in the trades. We share the honest, gritty, and inspiring journeys of female tradies thriving in a male-dominated industry.
Each episode features real conversations with women in construction and the skilled trades, tackling topics like apprenticeships, jobsite culture, career progression, mental health, physical demands, tools of the trade, and what it really takes to build a future in the field.
Whether you’re already on the tools, just getting started, or curious about what it’s like to be a woman in the trades — this podcast is your crew. We’re building each other up and breaking barriers with every episode.

A Quick Pause (But Not Goodbye)
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
After a non-stop run since starting recording in November 2024, I’m taking a short pause to reset and make the podcast more sustainable long-term.
This isn’t goodbye — just a step back to ensure the show can last long term.
I’ll be back in May with more incredible women and powerful conversations.

Hey, Thanks for tuning into the show. This episode, if you've not guessed already, is a little bit different. This is just me with a quick and honest update. So since November 24, when I recorded my very first episode with Joanne Hay, which I hope you've listened to, it's been nonstop recording, planning.
editing, releasing all of it. And I've genuinely loved it. Being able to share conversations with such incredible women has been one of the most rewarding things I've probably ever done. But if I'm honest, it has been a lot. I've taken a step back recently and asked myself, is this actually sustainable? Whilst I'm trying to build the podcast alongside my business.
and also trying to give space for a personal life too. Being a Libra balance is very important to me and I'm starting to feel that. So I'm taking a short pause from recording. I'm not stopping, I'm just resetting. I want to make the schedule more manageable so that I can
keep this going long term.
In the meantime, if you or someone you know has a story to share, please reach out, drop me a DM on Instagram or even drop me an email. I'll always reply and we can have a chat and discuss what you want to share on the show.
Thank you so much for all your support so far. It really does mean a lot. And please keep supporting the amazing guests who've already been on the show and shared their stories. I'll be back in May with more episodes and more incredible women sharing their tradie stories. So take care and speak soon.
