Benny Cruz - 42 Years as a COP!

Retired San Diego Sheriff Detective Benny Cruz started his career with the Imperial County Sheriff’s Office in 1977, where he worked the jail and patrol. In 1983, Benny lateraled to the San Diego Sheriff’s Department. Benny was assigned to the jail, patrol, and investigations with San Diego. Benny worked at the Santee Patrol Station from 1987 to 1993, where he was assigned to work at both Santee and Lakeside. Benny retired in 2018.
