A birthday sleepover. A pot of gumbo. A football game on TV. By sunrise, a mother of six was found face down in the yard. We walk through the final hours of Tamla Horsford’s life with care and precision, tracing the timeline, the interviews, and the red flags that have fueled years of questions. This isn’t about chasing shock; it’s about clarity, context, and the dignity owed to a life cut short.

We start with who Tamla was: a joyful parent, a devoted sports mom, a woman trying to build community in a new town. From there, we map the house layout, the guest list, and the social dynamics that shaped the night—accepted drinks, rejected tequila, patio smoke breaks, and the moment the party turned into a mystery. The morning discovery and the 911 call set the tone for what followed: a blunt notification to the family, a quick accident ruling, and a trail of investigative gaps that never fully closed.

Along the way we examine Cumming, Georgia’s racial history and why it matters for understanding trust, power, and perception. We look at dead security cameras, missing door notifications, unusual interview behavior, and the days of private meetups after the fact. We also revisit the wave of public pressure that pushed the case back onto investigators’ desks, and why the official conclusion still leaves so many unconvinced. Through it all, we keep the focus where it belongs—on Tamla’s humanity and the basic standards any fair inquiry must meet.

SPEAKER_02

We're live. We're live. We're raw, uncut, and unedited. I'm drunk about something.

SPEAKER_01

I'll just over here, you know, just uh over. I'm over here.

SPEAKER_02

Over here. Over here.

SPEAKER_01

Hello.

SPEAKER_03

Hello, YouTube.

SPEAKER_02

Hello, TikTok. And hello, all of our audio listeners.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. We're here. What you drinking? Um, it's it's it's Jack Honey, because I got a cold.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, he's got a cold.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, he's got something.

SPEAKER_02

You know how men be when they sit.

SPEAKER_01

I'm a baby. I'm a baby. It's a baby.

SPEAKER_02

It's a baby.

SPEAKER_01

It's a baby. I'm here. How are you doing, Lindsay? What are you drinking over there?

SPEAKER_02

I've got a blackberry white claw. And it's delicious. It's very crisp because it's very fucking cold outside. And this is from our outside fridge. And it is really, really, really crispy.

SPEAKER_01

Stay bundled up, everybody. And stay hydrated, my friends.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, we're gonna binge the Game of Thrones after this with a fire.

SPEAKER_01

I drink it, I know things. Actually, I drink it, I don't know shit, Lindsay.

SPEAKER_02

No.

Drinks, Cold Weather, And TV Comforts

SPEAKER_01

You tell all these stories and you keep jumping all this stuff.

SPEAKER_02

But you just told us a story that I didn't know about. Oh, yeah, you didn't know. So stay tuned for that. Jesse has his own little story he's gonna tell.

SPEAKER_01

Was it a good story? Do you think it was a good story? I do.

SPEAKER_02

I like that. Yeah, because I didn't know anything about it. Now I'm like, I'm intrigued.

SPEAKER_01

I think our life is a never-ending story.

SPEAKER_03

It's a never-ending story. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.

SPEAKER_01

Dude, this makes this makes like a fucking perfect microphone. I think if you have a if you have a cup and it and it makes a perfect microphone.

SPEAKER_02

Well, he calls a rattle cup.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Because it rattles. It does, but uh it makes a microphone. I think everybody should have a rattle cup as a microphone. Mine microphone. Look how cool mine. Y'all haven't seen this one yet, because this is House Jensey. House Jensey.

SPEAKER_02

It's got a little bit of everything that we like. Well, a little bit of a couple things that we like to tell. Handmaid's Tale.

SPEAKER_01

Handmaid's Tale. I don't know if you see this over here. Yes. Handmaid's Tale. And then it also has, of course.

unknown

Game of Thrones.

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_02

Well, that is our other most rewatched show, is Handmaid's Tale, other than Game of Thrones. We love them both. Yes.

SPEAKER_01

Both them.

SPEAKER_02

Handmaid's Tale. And I'm ready for the testaments. Let's get working on that. Hulu.

SPEAKER_03

Hulu and Elizabeth Moss.

SPEAKER_02

Hulula.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Alright, so.

SPEAKER_01

I love Moss Elizabeth. Moss Elizabeth.

Black History Month Focus

SPEAKER_02

Moss Elizabeth.

SPEAKER_01

I love her.

SPEAKER_02

So we are in Black History Month, and I covered the story last week of uh or the case of Tamla Horsford. Now she was a beautiful, beautiful woman who is from uh Kingstown, St. Vincent in the Grenadines, which is in the Caribbean, and she her her and her family moved to the Bronx, and then they ended up in Florida, where she met and married uh Leander Horsford.

SPEAKER_01

Right. She's from there, but she really didn't live there. I mean, she hadn't been there in a long ass time.

SPEAKER_02

No, she moved to uh the United States in when she was 11.

SPEAKER_01

She was 11, yeah. It was young. I mean, but like for them to be like, oh, this is Island, the chick from the island. Oh, we haven't got there yet. Oh, wait, wait, wait. Anyway, it was it's it's some fuckery, man. Fuck.

SPEAKER_02

So Leander and Tamala, they meet in Florida, get married, and now Leander already has a daughter, and um then they have five boys together.

SPEAKER_01

Look at all the smoke from our vapes.

SPEAKER_02

I know Chief and up in here.

SPEAKER_01

Um Cheech and Chong movie.

SPEAKER_02

So Leander was transferred to Cummings, Georgia, and at the end of the episode, um, I give a little back history into Cummings' horribly racial background.

SPEAKER_01

Very fucking racial, very horrible.

SPEAKER_02

Um and still to this day, it's only 4% people of color. So Tamala is an amazing mom. She is very involved in all of her kids' sports. They play football. Hit okay on that, Landon. Yes, okay.

SPEAKER_01

Landon's helping us today. He's hanging out. Innocent bystander.

SPEAKER_02

Yes. And um then she befriends, you know, a lot of other sports moms, and this one lady name it's spelled Jean. Oh, she pronounces Jean. So she just makes me sick.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, uh, it turned my stomach every time you said that in that whole episode. Like Lindsay kept dumping it, and I was like, dude, this is fuck fucking fuckery right here. You're gonna call yourself John. Myers Montgomery.

SPEAKER_02

Oh my God. A little buzz. Leave me up. A little buzz, let me know. Anyway, John Myers has a sleepover. Um, there are several women in attendant. I do have my notes out for this one. I'm so proud of myself.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, you want to have your fun and do things like that.

SPEAKER_02

No, that's not true because I go to adult sleepovers, but shit like this don't happen.

SPEAKER_01

She didn't really know these people enough.

SPEAKER_02

That's true. Like my adult sleepovers consist of decade, multiple decade-long friendships. And then all of a sudden, by the way, it was the white girl.

SPEAKER_03

Lennon's chiming in.

SPEAKER_02

Huh?

SPEAKER_01

Is it a white girl?

SPEAKER_02

White girl, what? That had the sleepover? Yeah. Well, it was a couple. Well, there's ten women. No, there was eight women in attendance.

SPEAKER_01

We're gonna have to get Lennon for a mic. He needs a mic. No. We'll give him a mic next time. He'll be part of the thing.

SPEAKER_02

So Sean has a sleepover for her 45th birthday, and they were gonna play some games, drink some drinks, watch football, eat some gumbo. And um sounds like a good fucking evening, really. It does sound like a great evening.

SPEAKER_01

But she didn't really know all these people, and they were all like, come on over and hang out, you know? Well, she, yeah, she's other than other than sports and shit, right?

Cumming, Georgia’s Racial Backdrop

SPEAKER_02

I mean, it was kind of like they were new friends because she was uh they were all moms of kids that played football, basically.

SPEAKER_01

And she was a perfect kid, happy go lucky mom, sports mom that was just amazing. Yeah, Tam was Tam was yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Tam was the life of the party. Uh, she was super sweet, loving, caring. Just she was the good time. She was good time gal. Well, she um so the sleepover was going to be for John Myers, her uh, her friend Stacy. Um, oh my god, where's my notes? Where's my notes? Stacy Smith and her husband. Landon, you're thank you, Landon. Thank you, Landon. Assistants. Uh so Stacy and Tom uh were a married couple that came over early in the day to like decorate and get shit ready. They were based, Stacy was basically the host of Jean's sleepover. Right. So yeah, at Jean's house.

SPEAKER_01

She was the party coordinator.

SPEAKER_02

She was a coordinator. Yeah, she was a party planner. And she was, I think she was Jean's bestie. So they set everything up. And now it was supposed to be a ladies' night, but Tom, Stacy's husband, ends up staying and hanging out with Jose Barrera, who is Jean's much younger boyfriend. And um because he's got he's got tummy issues.

SPEAKER_01

He's got the poo-poos, man.

SPEAKER_02

He's got the poo-poos.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and they're eating fucking what's gonna be.

SPEAKER_02

And they're eating gumbo. And yeah. He eats gumbo when he supposedly has the shit.

SPEAKER_01

And they're watching, we're watching like uh LSU versus Alabama. Yeah. I mean, it's a cool little get together so far, but still it just seems weird because she really know these people too much. It's kind of I mean, everything's just I don't know. She's just trying to have a good time and fit in and be part of the whole thing. Yeah. Right. I get it.

The Sleepover Guest List And Dynamics

SPEAKER_02

So um Tamla, she shows up a little late because she wanted to make sure her family was taken care of. She bathed, fed her kids, you know, shows up to Jean's party with a very expensive, cool ass bottle of tequila from Mexico as her gift to Jean. And then Jean's like, ew, tequila, and then passes it around all snooty like all the time.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, and shit on it with the whole little girls' club shit. Yeah. Yeah. Fine.

SPEAKER_02

They all pass the ball around, smell it. They mean girls. Girls club. Well, they mean girls her with Girls Club.

SPEAKER_01

What's the one's the dude that does the girls club thing?

SPEAKER_02

Huh?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah. He's like, you know, uh, Libby and I'm trying to fuck. And he does like a whole girls club.

SPEAKER_02

What's his name? Mark.

SPEAKER_01

Mark uh Y'all know him.

SPEAKER_02

He's a DJ. Rubilet? Something like that. Yeah. He's a DJ that dances in his bathrobe and his underwear. He's great.

SPEAKER_01

He does the whole girls club song. I love that. Anyhow, this is some fuckery though.

SPEAKER_02

Get out of bed, bitch. Time to get up. Yeah. Yeah, that was my alarm for a little bit. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Mark Rubellet? Rubilet?

SPEAKER_02

Something like that. Y'all let us know what that is. That guy's cool. That guy's works out.

SPEAKER_01

I hope that guy doesn't wind up being anything other than cool. Yes. Yes.

SPEAKER_02

But not out there in the universe.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

So other ladies that were in attendance were Nicole, Marcy, Bridget, Jennifer, Sarah, and Paula, along with John's Aunt Madeline. So throughout the night, uh, like I said, they rejected Tam's amazing tequila. I'm sure it was awesome. If you'd have just put a little salt on your hand with some lime, you should drank that.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it's party party. And it was probably like a$100 bottle, probably. Probably. It was from Mexico. They have the worm in it. I want to drink some shit with the worm in it, dude. Have you ever drank tequila with the worm in it?

SPEAKER_02

If it does not, if it's not clear, don't bring it to me. I think I'm not gonna, I'm gonna thank you.

SPEAKER_01

Listen here. I'm snotty. Leave me know. Snotty by nature. Um Landon's gonna be turning 21 soon.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I think we should buy a bottle of tequila.

SPEAKER_02

Landon's birthday is 420, just so everybody knows.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

If y'all wanna, if y'all wanna uh send a little gift to him via us.

SPEAKER_01

Yes. We love you, Landon. Thank you for helping us out. Yes, yes. Um he's we need to get him a mic, dude.

SPEAKER_02

He's okay.

SPEAKER_01

We're gonna have him on for like the next episode.

SPEAKER_02

He doesn't anything about this story that you will not let me recap. I'm having fun. You're having fun.

SPEAKER_01

I'm having fun. Let me in. I'm trying to.

SPEAKER_02

What's the one that he says about the dog?

SPEAKER_03

I don't know how about the dog. Oh, the dog fucking dog.

SPEAKER_01

So for Landis 21, dude, I'm gonna get a bottle of mascow tequila with the worm in it, dude. Is it clear? I don't know. I think you can get it clear.

SPEAKER_02

I'll get a separate bottle that's clear.

SPEAKER_01

For your 21st birthday.

SPEAKER_02

We're staying home then.

SPEAKER_01

I think you're gonna drink the worm, bro. You're allowed to.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Yeah. Wasn't that in Poltergeist where you drank the mascot with the worm in it? One of them horror movies. Anyhow, let's get back to it.

SPEAKER_02

Now that one that one is a more like a smoky tequila, right? It's smoky. It might be. It might be. It's distilled a little differently.

Party Night Timeline And Tensions

SPEAKER_01

You're gonna have to do a lot of drinking. For your 21st, bro. For your 20, for your for your allowed to drink age, we're gonna get the mascow with the worm in it. Yes. I'm a little burpee. You're gonna do this. You're gonna do this with us. We're gonna we're gonna put it on the lives.

SPEAKER_02

So Tam was also the only one who was a smoker. She was kind of a smoker when she drank type of lady. We've been there, we've done that. We're we we're a vaping. Now we're vaping.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, right now, especially when we drink. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Um, so she went to the patio a lot. And the patio, it was this was a three-story house in uh which what did we say it was, a little bit north of Atlanta.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, beautiful house, though.

SPEAKER_02

Very beautiful house. It had a nice patio, you know, to go enjoy and smoke. Like I would, if even if I didn't smoke, I wouldn't want to go sit on this table.

SPEAKER_01

We kind of had that bed and breakfast vibe that we did when we went to Louisville when we did uh The Ladder and Life that got canceled.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Like the three-story house. Yep. Yeah, we hung out on the bottom story. There's like that was a round house, though. Yeah, but Lindsay made them a cake. That was fucking awesome. You made them a pound cake because it was one of the girls' birthday.

SPEAKER_02

And I mixed that bitch by hand. They had no tools.

SPEAKER_01

Well, hand tools.

SPEAKER_02

No, they didn't have the hand ones. We did I did all that with a whisk. Me and Amanda took turns whisking with a whisk. With a hand tool. With a hand whisk.

SPEAKER_01

Hand tool, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Hand tool, yeah. There was no blended. That was so cute of you.

SPEAKER_01

Lindsay, you're so fucking amazing. I just wanted to say that.

SPEAKER_02

I do make a mean ass pound cake and cheesecake.

SPEAKER_01

Lindsay's cakes by the pound, by the way, if you want to check that shit out and order a cake, dude.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I do not know how to ship them, so you'll have to local 50.

SPEAKER_01

No, we we do know how to ship them. We have shipped.

SPEAKER_02

They sent me the box to send it in. I don't know where to get the material. Like the person that has bought a few from me that wanted them shipped, they mailed me the boxes and paid for the shipping. I put the stuff in there and sent it back with the label that we got.

SPEAKER_01

So if you want to get one shipped, do all that. But she does like 50 different pound cakes. You do.

SPEAKER_02

And cheesecakes.

SPEAKER_01

You. I'm a little buzzed. Leave me alone. Your makeup is beautiful.

SPEAKER_02

Thank you.

SPEAKER_01

Look at this wife of mine over here. All right, go to your thing, dude, all the recapping things.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. So yeah, we're gonna get serious here for a minute.

SPEAKER_01

So yes, we should.

SPEAKER_02

So Tam, she had also brought some greens. She was gardening. She liked to garden. And uh Aunt Madeline and Stacy uh also did that with her. And um, but then John, she was the party pooper on the gardening because she was like, Jose is in law enforcement. And he's younger and he's hotter, and you know, he's not hot. But um yeah, and he can't, yeah. I think he was at what did I say? He was a pretrial probation officer, is what Jose was.

SPEAKER_01

Um why the later on why I won't say the now, but the later on why he got fired. But anyhow, guys.

SPEAKER_02

So they watched the game. Um, then the boys joined the girls later on to eat some gumbo. And because they kind of hung out in the basement while the girls were on the second floor. If you looked at the layout of this house, you can Google it. You can see, like, you know, they were they were so they were separated, even though it was supposed to be just a girls' night.

SPEAKER_01

And that was in some money. That was a nice ass house, dude.

SPEAKER_02

Yes. Like I said, I couldn't find what John did, but she she obviously had some money somewhere. So um they were, you know, watching the LSU Alabama games, and that ended, and um Tam called her family for a FaceTime call to tell everybody good night. And then two of the ladies leave around 10:30 because they had to work the next day. And um around 12:45, Marcy and Jen retire to one of the rooms. They sleep, they you know, put on Shrek, they go to sleep. And then everyone, you know, kind of starts. Check out the episode if you check out the episode, comment what your favorite Shrek is. If you're on TikTok live right now or on YouTube, let us know what your favorite Shrek is. Ours is two and four.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, spam what your favorite Shrek is. One, two, three, or four. Is there four of them? How many of there are? Let's Chelsea. I'm gonna step out.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. So he's gonna answer a phone call. I'm gonna keep going.

Late Night Departures And Red Flags

SPEAKER_01

I might do this on the on the fan.

SPEAKER_02

Don't go outside.

SPEAKER_01

Hey, we're we're on uh we're we're snowing, and it's snowing at my house. It's snowing out in Florida?

unknown

It is snowing.

SPEAKER_01

Hey, say hey to everybody over here.

SPEAKER_02

You're out you're on TikTok live.

SPEAKER_01

It's snowing.

SPEAKER_03

It's snowing in Florida, you guys. Oh my god. We should build a snowman.

SPEAKER_00

It like just blue snow. Pause for the cause, everybody. It's boring. So a lot worse than this.

SPEAKER_01

Wow.

SPEAKER_00

But Silas wanted to tell. He's like, I've never seen it. I was like, what do you want to put in the table?

SPEAKER_01

Well, that's the perfect place for you to be, Sai, with Aunt Chelsea.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, Sy is with Aunt Chelsea, and they it is snowing at her house.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, go stick your tongue to a pole.

SPEAKER_00

All right, love y'all. Love you, bye.

SPEAKER_01

Sai's out hanging out with his Aunt Chelsea. He's my favorite niece ever. We call her Aunt Chelsea, but he's kind of It's cousins.

SPEAKER_02

You know, older older cousins are aunts and uncles. We do that. We've done that in my family for years. I'm sure many other families.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, is it snowing in Florida? Holy shit. Holy shit. I'm gonna go outside naked later. After this fucking dream, dude. Look at me. Look at me.

SPEAKER_02

Windsus Coleman.

SPEAKER_01

Winsis Coleman? I feel like a pretty little princess, and I want to build a snowman.

SPEAKER_02

So everybody pairs off with sleeping arrangements. And um Tam doesn't really have uh a hangout buddy. She's feeling kind of lonely. So she she wants to go home. She wants to pack that shit in. And uh John and Tom and Stacy are like, absolutely not. You've been drinking, don't do it. So Tam was like, okay, I'll stay, but I'm not really tired. I've been drinking, I've been having some Mountain Dew. I know it's kind of wired.

SPEAKER_01

I had to blow my nose, pay no attention.

SPEAKER_02

I don't really get to do this very often. So will somebody stay up with me? So everybody goes to bed, but Bridget, she hangs out with Tam until she leaves, which is around 1 47 a.m. Now, uh Bridget didn't stay because she suffered from anxiety. And even though uh she proudly took Xanax and wore it in a necklace around her neck.

SPEAKER_01

I want to talk about the necklace. Can I talk about the next one? Hold on, let me finish what I was gonna say.

SPEAKER_02

Um she doesn't she says later on that she doesn't share the Xanax at all. Those are her drugs. And she is prescribed them. So um even though she's, you know, has the Xanax and which does make you relax, she still didn't want to stay over. She wanted to go. So she left around 1 47 a.m. Go ahead.

SPEAKER_01

Anyone that's on our lives, subscribe to YouTube on Gen Z. And anybody that's on our YouTube, thank you so much for being here.

SPEAKER_02

Yes. We see y'all joining in. We're so happy. Like y'all are just joining and joining. I'm always thank you so much. It's more than I can even keep up with.

SPEAKER_01

Loving all the hearts and all the love.

SPEAKER_02

Landon's watching all everybody uh join in.

The Morning Discovery

SPEAKER_01

Yes. Lindsay, I mean, your stories though, they kill me so much. And this is the only thing that keeps me going over here.

SPEAKER_02

This story really fucks with me, like ever since I first heard it, because I'm like, somebody's gotta know something, okay?

SPEAKER_01

Because it's it's washed away. I mean, there's no fucking way that all these things transpired without being some kind of debauchery. Because there's a lot of chicks that's.

SPEAKER_02

Well, there's a there's a girl on TikTok who she she's so funny. She wears her little tinfoil hat. I need to. And her series is things that we've moved on too fast from. And this case right here, I believe that we have moved on way too fast from it.

SPEAKER_01

Well, this week when I Googled the whole thing, everybody's like with a question mark.

SPEAKER_02

So many. Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

There's so many question marks on this deal. Like, okay, I want a tinfoil hat, but I want to like Captain Jack Sparrows. Yeah. But I want horns on mine too.

SPEAKER_02

How can I be a pirate? Yankee doodle with a feather.

SPEAKER_01

You want a Yankee doodle?

SPEAKER_02

And I want to call it macaroni.

SPEAKER_01

You know what macaroni was?

SPEAKER_02

What?

SPEAKER_01

It was a it was a fashion trend. Really? Like if you were a macaroni.

SPEAKER_02

I tried to get Silas to tell me that. And he was I was like, why does Yankee Doodle call his hat macaroni?

SPEAKER_01

He didn't tell you. No. So all the dudes with the fucking wigs with the powder hair and all the curls, they were called macaronies back in the day.

SPEAKER_03

Really?

SPEAKER_01

Yes. Did not fucking know that until me and him's doing some history on the 1700s. And it's like dudes like with the big, I mean, there were dudes that had, y'all can't even see it in the screen over here, how high the fucking macaroni was. But the curls and the biggest. You know, George Washington never did wear a wig.

SPEAKER_02

So all that's bullshit?

SPEAKER_01

That was his natural hair.

Police Response And Family Notification

SPEAKER_02

Oh, that was his natural hair.

SPEAKER_01

Because he powdered it and curled it.

SPEAKER_02

He powdered it and curled it.

SPEAKER_01

Everybody powdered and curled their hair. He did the natural with his natural ass wooden teeth.

SPEAKER_03

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

So, yeah, during the the wars and things, he was the general of and then became the revolutionary. I want some wooden teeth. Do you?

SPEAKER_02

I don't care.

SPEAKER_01

Lindsay. Landon's not here, and we're not going to talk about your teeth right now and where I want to put things on your teeth. But anyhow, listen. Let's listen. Macaroni is a fashion trend. Are we? Yes, on TikTok. Oh. Well, anyhow, macaroni is a fashion trend, and they didn't even know about macaroni in the 1700s, the noodle, until they like hung out to the show. I mean they had Italian people. They had a Spanish. No, no. It was a fashion trend, I swear to God.

SPEAKER_02

Was it fucking Christopher Columbius Italian Columbius? Columbus Italian. Christopher Columbius. Wasn't his podcast Italian? No. He was Spanish. Spanish. Okay, I'm sorry.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, they didn't have macaroni in Spain yet, no.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, so.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, Raceronian.

SPEAKER_02

When Bridget left, macaroni. Tam was still, was she was having a bowl of gumbo. She said she was gonna have a smoke and she was gonna go to bed.

SPEAKER_01

Now uh smoking a pancake or a bong and a blitz. Oh my god, Jesse. I'm sorry.

SPEAKER_02

So around 4 or 10 a.m., Marcy left, and then after that, um Paula leaves, and then Stacey and Tom leave soon after.

SPEAKER_01

Which is shady. All this is shady.

SPEAKER_02

Now, Madeline, she this is Aunt Madeline. She sleeps, I her room is in the basement. Uh Madeline wakes up and she's gonna make some coffee, and she passes by the window and outside, and she leaves she sees Tam laying face down.

SPEAKER_01

Which is where I turn to the plant in Lindsay's story because I'm like, this is some fuckery. Go ahead.

Investigative Oddities And Missing Data

SPEAKER_02

So Tam is laying face down and she's not moving. And Madeline's first instinct is to say a fucking prayer. Sorry, that's not your first reaction. When you see somebody laying face down, not breathing, I'm gonna go check it this shit out, dude. I'm gonna go up there and be like, what the hell's going on? Are you okay? So then after she says her prayers, uh, she goes to Jean and Jose's room and says that she needs to speak to Jose. And then after I guess they assess the situation, like some time has passed, and then they finally call 911. Jose, or first Jean speaks to him, then Jose speaks to him, and then police and investigators arrive shortly after and confirm that Tamla has is deceased. Then after that, uh they go and they visit Leander to go, you know, they're gonna go tell him that his wife has passed, but they're very aggressive and very mean about it. Um, they asked him three times if his name was Lee, and he was like, actually, my name is Leander. You know, what is this pertaining to?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, by the way, your wife's fucking dead. Yeah, and they said your wife is dead. Yeah, by the way, let me just fucking let you know now.

SPEAKER_02

It was very blunt, very uh unincreased. Unsincere.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, just don't give a fuck. This is what happened. Yeah.

Public Pressure And Case Reopened

SPEAKER_02

And um, so they pretty much say rule right away that it is a tragic accident. How? And then um, yeah. The women, everybody was interviewed. You can find these interviews on YouTube. Uh, Bridget's is the most disturbing to me because all she talks about is how she's the mother hen and she's got OCD and she has all the xenics. She takes a lot, she takes a cocktail of prescription drugs. Yeah, it's a very well if you do have to do that, I I we understand. We get it. It was just very strange how she is talking about that consistently in her.

SPEAKER_01

She's not fucking drugs to be a dietary supplemental fucking in front of it's like that many. Come on, you got that many, and you got your own necklace?

SPEAKER_02

And the fact Yeah, the fact that she kept talking about how she's a mother hen and she's the cleaner of the group.

SPEAKER_01

She's and nobody's gonna take my Xena X. I'm the mother hen.

SPEAKER_02

Right. Yeah, it's very strange. Did you listen to the interview?

SPEAKER_01

I did not. Is that nice? It was pretty close. Is that really? That was that was accurate.

SPEAKER_02

So, I mean, in in the in Aunt Madeline's interview, um, Jean interrupts and offers the cops Dunkin' Donuts gift cards.

SPEAKER_01

What did I say? I said she's gonna give them a necklace of Dunkin' Donuts packed.

SPEAKER_02

Well, John and Bridget are two different people. Well, yeah, but yeah.

SPEAKER_01

But I did say that.

SPEAKER_02

But it was that's very weird. That's weird. You're there's a crime or a tragedy that happened at your home, and your answer is to give the I I don't know. I don't know. I I haven't been in that position.

SPEAKER_01

By the way, here's some Dunkin' Donuts gift cards.

SPEAKER_02

Right. And her thing was like Cox Live Donuts, right?

SPEAKER_01

What I said is very, very true. And by the way, I have a$50 gift card here for you. Right. For Dunkin' Donuts. Um the whole world runs on Dunkin'.

SPEAKER_02

Leander, okay, so number one, there were no or EMS services or or yeah, EMS services were not called. Number one.

SPEAKER_01

Number one.

SPEAKER_02

Number two, no autopsy photos were taken. Number three, when Leander got to the funeral home, he noticed that they had painted Tam's face darker than she was naturally. Kitty jobs. He said, he said, this is his words, that it looked like she had black face. It looked like that she had been painted with black shoe polish.

Why So Many Questions Remain

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and we had we had heard and seen. I have been to some African American like funerals where you know black people were just sitting there in a casket. They do sometimes their pigment does turn darker, but do a good job. Make them look fucking respectful. Do a good fucking job. It's it's makeup, dude. You want to make them look nice. Come on, dude.

SPEAKER_02

Now, uh another thing that was very sketchy was that security cameras in the backyard had uh they they weren't charged. Um they were were basically dead cameras that she was no longer using. More red flags. Um f uh notifications from her camera. Okay, so she had no she would get notifications when doors were open, and I guess all this would collect into a file, and some of that went missing as well.

SPEAKER_01

Very sketchy. Which would have been showing all the chicks that were fucking off in the middle of this fuckery.

SPEAKER_02

Now, another thing that I did not mention in the episode, the all the people that were involved were meeting at Jean's house like every day for a week.

SPEAKER_01

Planning.

SPEAKER_02

Not prior to afterwards, which raises some some suspicion as to maybe they were just trying to get a story straight.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, planning, yeah. I mean, I'm not saying we're not saying, but we are saying there's something strange. Now this case in the gumbo.

Links, Community, And What’s Next

SPEAKER_02

This case would have two different investigations because uh after the George Floyd murder happened, and you know, due to uh police brutality, right? Tam's case was renewed in the public interest, and uh there was a petition of over 700,000 people on change.org. You can find this. I signed it while I was covering this case. So much, thank you. Now the GBI did get involved in the second investigation, but it was still ruled as an accident. But like I do say in the episode, in my humble opinion, I really feel that this case is unsolved. Me soon. And many, many, many, many people widespread through the internet that I have seen agree with me.

SPEAKER_01

The question mark with the exclamation point is there. Yes. I really do think so.

SPEAKER_02

SPEAKER_02
