"Hello, and welcome to the first episode of 'Beyond the Game'! I’m Dr. Brandon Hardin, a sports medicine physician with 12 years of experience in treating athletes and active individuals.” I wear many hats as a local sports doctor here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. I am the CEO of Hardin Sports Medicine, the Sports Med attending for Memorial Hospital for the Family Med GME program, the High School team doctor for the coastal schools, and have been the doctor for many elite athletes from all over.
- **Background:** "My journey into sports medicine started with a passion for athletics and a desire to understand how we as sports medicine professionals can optimize performance while minimizing injury.” I have 4 children all in sports. My daughter is a collegiate cheerleader, my oldest son plays quarterback for the local high school, my middle son plays football but is passionate about basketball, and my youngest son is obsessed with soccer. I am married to an amazing woman who will soon be a nurse and mom to our 4 busy children.
