Hey Besties! Welcome back to another episode of Or Something Like That. We’ve got a jam-packed episode for you today. First things first we’re recapping a Saturday spent at the Roaring 20s gala and the difficulties of sourcing an outfit for such an event in our mindful consumption eras. We’re laughing about how we picture our facial expressions in our minds and how different that is from how we really look and whether or not we will ever get used to seeing ourselves on camera. Perhaps someday. Next, we’re discussing the phenomenon of the millennial mole. Spoiler alert, we both have it. Do you? Also, remember when everyone hated millennials? So do we. Well, look at us now! Next, we’re wondering about body counts in the current climate of dating. Are people asking about this, does this matter? We don’t think so and we’re telling you why. Finally, we’re getting into our topic for this episode which is representation of misogyny and toxic masculinity in music. We’re discussing the Me Too era controversy around Baby Its Cold Outside and sharing some examples of songs that have always bothered us. This led us into a discussion about artists and other public figures who have disappointed us and whether or not you can separate the art from the artist and if it’s morally acceptable to do so. Lastly, we’re moving into our reality check segment of the episode where we’re discussing RHOBH and the new season of The Valley. From Garcelle’s dramatic reunion exit to Jax’s addiction and mental health journey we’re going to mention it all!
