Ep 36 Rewind: Going to Texas Roadhouse, Who Wants to Join?!
Hey Weed Whackers! Welcome back to another REWIND episode of She’s in the Weeds! This episode was originally recorded on August 7th 2024 well before the rebrand so please enjoy this throwback to the early days of recording. First up Sam’s sharing a perfect example of an “Or Something Like That” moment. Sam and Hollis finally explained the old title in a recent episode of She’s in the Weeds and they will likely keep it as an occasional segment so if you’re looking for come clarity be sure to listen to the announcement of the rebrand in episode 33. Next, they’re chatting about television and the evolution of standup comedy with the introduction of streaming platforms. After that Hollis is bringing us a personal update on her EMDR therapy journey. If you’re curious about what landed her in this type of therapy then listen to episode 2 “Trauma Bonded.” Next, the girls are getting into the main topic for the episode which is the Olympics. They’re sharing some overall thoughts about how it originated and how it globally unites us but also how it can be toxic and how it influences society’s hyper fixation on the gender dichotomy.
