It's pop culture archives where we open the vault and explore characters and themes from some our favorite millennial movies, tv shows, and pop culture phenomenons. This week we're discussing one of our favorites, Never Been Kissed! We're bringing you some fun facts, dishing on the scenes and one liners we love, and diving into some of the movie's heavier themes of impossible romance standards, illicit flirting and relationships, and romanticizing underage girls being consumed by the adult male gaze. But first, we're yapping about no longer being a marijuana podcast, Wheel of Fortune, and Sam traumatizing her six year old. Then we're complaining about no longer being able to procrastinate and how hard it is to prioritize things and effectively manage our time. And we know it's been a week since the news of West and Amanda broke but it was fresh when we recorded so we had to talk about it. We're bringing you our thoughts on the situation as well a conversation surrounding the future of reality TV and the people that find themselves there. Then it's time to get in the weeds with this month's pop culture archives selection Never Been Kissed! Yikes Bikes this movie is definitely a product of it's time and was interesting to rewatch through an adult lens.
