Midlife Reset with Jama Pantel
Midlife Reset with Jama Pantel is a podcast for high-achieving women navigating midlife changes and figuring out how to feel like themselves again.
If you’ve ever felt like you don’t feel like yourself anymore in midlife… but you can’t quite explain why, you’re not alone.
You’ve done everything right. You’ve built the life, the routines, the discipline.
And now something feels different. Not wrong… just different. Your body is changing. Your energy isn’t the same. And the things that used to work… don’t always work anymore.
But here’s the part no one really talks about. You might also feel more like yourself than ever before. More clear. More grounded. More aware of what you want and what no longer works for you. And now you’re trying to figure out what to do with that.
This podcast is where we talk about all of it. Midlife identity shifts. Confidence in midlife. Body changes and evolving routines. The “good girl” and “oldest daughter” patterns that kept you being the easy one, and what happens when that stops working.
Each week, Jama Pantel shares real conversations about what it looks like to move through a midlife reset in a way that feels honest, grounded, and aligned with who you are now. No extremes. No pretending everything is falling apart. No starting over from scratch. Just honest perspective, real-life experience, and figuring it out as you go.
If you’re in your 40s and navigating change, growth, and that feeling of “something is shifting”… this podcast will help you make sense of it.

Burnout Is Real: How to Keep Showing Up When You’re Exhausted
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Burnout is real. Here’s how to show up with intention, protect your energy, and rest without guilt—even when life and business feel heavy.
Burnout is real—and if you’ve been feeling it lately, this episode is for you.
In today’s short and honest conversation, I’m talking about what it feels like to hit a wall after weeks of giving your all to your work, your people, your goals... and forgetting to give anything back to yourself.
I’ll share what I’ve been moving through personally, how I balance being there for my clients while also honoring my own limits, and why rest isn’t a luxury—it’s a strategy.
This episode is your permission slip to press pause, reset, and show up with more intention (and less guilt). Whether you're a high-achieving woman, creative, entrepreneur, or simply human... this message is for you.

Honest Confession About Tiredness
Jama PantelI almost didn't record this episode. I had something else planned. I had something else written and ready to go, but, if I'm being honest, I'm tired and I think someone else out there needs to hear this too. Hey y'all, welcome back to Living the Whole Picture, the podcast for ambitious women ready to elevate their visibility, build authentic confidence and become the face of their brand. If you've ever struggled with confidence on camera or hesitated to put yourself out there, this podcast is for you. Let's get started on living the whole picture together. Hey y'all, welcome back. It's me Jama, your podcast bestie, and if I'm keeping things real, I didn't feel like showing up today.
Permission to Rest Without Guilt
Jama PantelThe past few weeks have been full six portrait sessions, traveling across Texas, from all the way down in South Texas to all the way up in North Texas, pouring my energy into every shot, making sure my clients felt beautiful, confident, seen in all the things and I've loved every second of it, but I'm tired, like hit a wall kind of tired. This past week has been crazy, and I know I'm not alone in that. Whether you're a business owner or a high-achieving woman or just someone trying to keep up with life, it gets heavy. We hold so much, we give so much and sometimes we forget to give back to ourselves. Here's what I've learned and am still learning, because I am always a work in progress. You can love what you do and still need a break. You can show up for others and still feel unseen, and you can be oh so grateful for all you have and still be exhausted at the same time. None of this makes you ungrateful. It just makes you a human.
Jama PantelAnd here's the truth. Not everyone will see the hours, the effort, the emotional weight behind the work. Not everyone will value what you bring to the truth. Not everyone will see the hours, the effort, the emotional weight behind the work. Not everyone will value what you bring to the table, but some will, and they're the ones you keep showing up for. I show up for the client who says I've never seen myself like that or I love how I look on camera. Thank you, I show up for the ones who've never felt confident in front of the camera until now. I show up for them, but I also show up for me. So if you're in that same space, this is your reminder.
Jama PantelYou don't have to earn your rest. You don't need to burn out to prove you care. You're allowed to pause before your body forces you to, like mine just did. Rest doesn't mean you've dropped the ball. It means you're wise enough to protect your energy. You'll need to pick back up again.
Closing Thoughts and Call to Action
Jama PantelI know I'll get back into it, like I always do, but for today, I'm choosing to show up honestly, even if it's with a little less energy and a lot more heart. Thanks for being here and for listening to me. Remember to rest before your body forces you to. That's all I got for today. Thanks y'all. Thank you so much for tuning in to Living the Whole Picture.
