Even on the hard days, you don't need perfect lighting, the right outfit or high energy to be visible. You just need to be present. Hey y'all, welcome back to Living the Whole Picture, the podcast for ambitious women ready to elevate their visibility, build authentic confidence and become the face of their brand. I'm your host, Jama Pantel, a luxury portrait photographer, author, educator, influencer and dream chaser, here to help you master your brand presence and show up authentically with confidence. Each week, we'll dive into topics to help you shine in business and in life, so you can stop hesitating and start showing up like the leader you were meant to be. If you've ever struggled with confidence on camera or hesitated to put yourself out there, this podcast is for you. Let's get started on living the whole picture together. Hey y'all, it's your podcast, bestie Jama again showing up totally unscripted and showing up anyways. So last week I shared how tired I was and I just haven't got my groove back. It's been another week where I just didn't feel like showing up, not being on camera or social media or even here on the podcast. If I'm being honest, that burnout has really been real. I haven't had the energy, the confidence or anything. But here's what I've learned over the years because I've been doing this a long time you can still stay visible even when you're not at 100% and, honestly, those are the moments where people feel the most connected to you. So today I want to give you a few quick tips on ways to show up to serve your audience and stay top of mind, even when you don't feel like it. This is my favorite tip and something I do quite often Reuse what you've already created.
Jama Pantel:I have a photo bank of old images that I can use at any time. You don't need new content every single day. Post a favorite photo of yourself, or reuse a reel that performed well, or share a quote you've said before. Visibility isn't about volume, it's about consistency. Number two voice counts as visibility. You don't have to show your face every time. I mean, we're in spring in Texas. Share some of our beautiful pictures. Try posting a story with just your voice, or write a caption that shares where you're really at. That's something that I do. I share that I'm tired. People don't just follow you for polished images. They follow you for you.
Jama Pantel:And number three behind the scenes really equals connection. If you're tired, say that. If you're feeling a certain way, share it. If you're working on something behind the scenes that's got your attention, share a quick snapshot of that. You don't always need to be facing the camera, it doesn't always have to be your face, but keep it real and people will keep coming back. So we think that we always need to be camera ready to be visible.
Jama Pantel:But visibility isn't just about showing your face, it's about showing your heart. You don't have to perform, you just have to be present. So if you're tired or burned out or just need a break, let this be the soft reminder to stay in the game without burning out. Your people will still be there waiting for you and when your energy returns because it always does you'll be proud of your consistency and that you didn't just disappear. You pivoted.
