Forced Labour | Hidden Risk or Entirely Predictable Reality?

TDi Sustainability Season 1 Episode 1

Forced labour is often described as a hidden risk, being almost impossible to find or to predict where it might occur. In this discussion, TDi's Head of Data and Due Diligence, James Hollins and Marketing Manager, Sarah Wilkinson, examine whether in fact there are actually entirely predictable indicators of forced labour in company business models.

James explores why it’s often difficult for companies to gain a full view of their supply chains, and highlights some of the techniques that can be employed to go beyond a traditional audit-based approach to expose the situations in which forced labour is occurring. James and Sarah also discuss the EU Forced Labour Regulation (EUFLR) and some of the key steps businesses can take to prepare for it.
