Dr. Venkat Srinivasan
Dr. Venkat Srinivasan is a leading battery scientist and electrochemist at Argonne National Laboratory, where he serves as a Senior Scientist and director of ACCESS (Argonne Collaborative Center for Energy Storage Science) and the LENS consortium, focused on sodium-ion batteries [1, podcast]. He also leads external engagement for the Energy Storage Research Alliance (ESRA).
He previously directed the Joint Center for Energy Storage Research (JCESR) and was a staff scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. His research centers on developing next-generation batteries for vehicle and grid applications, employing meso- and macro-scale models combined with experimental characterization.
