Dr. Marek Kubik
Marek is a leading voice in the global energy storage industry with over 16 years of experience driving the clean energy transition. He holds advisory roles with the board of Reichmuth & Co, Highview and the United Nations, and is currently leading efforts to enable the world’s first 100% renewable power grid at scale in the Middle East.
Previously, Marek helped pioneer battery storage in Europe as one of the first employees at AES Energy Storage and later co-founded Fluence, guiding its growth from start-up to a $4.7bn IPO. During his tenure he served as Managing Director and oversaw more than $1bn in technology and services sales.
Dr. Kubik holds both masters and doctoral degrees in engineering and received executive education at Stanford University and MIT.
