Aloha. This is lesson 345 from a course in miracles with Hope Johnson. I offer only miracles today, for I would have them be returned to me. Father, a miracle reflects your gifts to me, your son. And every one I give returns to me, reminding me the law of love is universal. Even here, it takes a form which can be recognized and seen to work. The miracles I give are given back in just the form I need to help me with the problems I perceive. Father, in heaven it is different, for there are no needs. But here on earth, the miracle is closer to your gifts than any other gift I can give. Then let me give this gift alone today, which, born of true forgiveness, lights the way that I must travel to remember you. Peace to all seeking hearts today. The light has come to offer miracles to bless the tired world. It will find rest today, for we will offer what we have received. And that concludes the text. That it's actually love's most natural expression in time. This teaching is again on divine reciprocity. The text says, a miracle reflects your gifts to me. That's a capital Y, your. So coming from God, the miracle is the earthly form of this divine law of reciprocity. Giving and receiving are the same. It's how we translate divine love into perception with forgiveness. Mercy flows. We don't hold anything against our perception, recognizing that the experience and the experiencer are the same. This understanding becomes a bridge between minds, between seemingly separate minds, joining them as one. Whatever miracle you offer, that's a moment of gentleness, a shift in you from judgment to love. That returns you to the exact healing that you need the most. So take any example where you feel frustrated or you feel like someone's unfair, treating you unfairly. There's a sense of manipulation, there's a sense of greed, anything like that. That's the moment it's calling you to feel what you feel, experience your experience, and recognize that the experiencer and the experience are the same one. This world is a dream. Anything anyone seems to do in it is a dream as well. So recognizing that you are your experience lets mercy to flow to everything that you once held something against. The text says, Everyone, as in miracle, I give returns to me, reminding me the law of love is universal. So this means the law of love being universal. This means that this law operates flawlessly, regardless of circumstance. To give love is to receive it instantly. It does not matter what the circumstances are, what anyone seems to be doing, what you seem to be doing. One friend told me she was caught up with an email to someone or a text to someone, basically letting the person know she didn't want to engage with them anymore. And there was this confusion over should I do this, shouldn't I do this? I want it to be perfect, I'm doing it all day long. Look, whatever it is you seem to be doing, recognize that regardless of that, your only function here is to give love, to receive it instantly, to yourself, too. It's all yourself. But the self that you perceive in the illusion seeming to go through these all these motions, all that needs is this pure divine acceptance. Give love to receive it instantly. This image is not who you are. It's playing out thought patterns. Let it be. Let it be. This is how you join with your experience. This is how you join with God in everything. This is a miracle. It affirms unity. This miracle, a true miracle, affirms unity. By demonstrating, you see this in your body's energy field, that what blesses anyone also blesses you. Anyone that includes your self that you made. And all the selves that you perceive in the world, these are also selves that you made. Extend everyone the blessing. Hooray. So miracles meet us where we need them most. It says in the text here on earth: the miracle is closer to your capital Y, to God's gifts, than any other gift I can give. Everyone, you could say, desperately wants and needs this gift. Says that in heaven there aren't any needs. Everything's complete in heaven, but within this dream of time, miracles meet us where we think we are to give us exactly what we need in terms of healing. It's love made visible. Whether it's a word or a pause within a gesture that reflects forgiveness, a thought of blessing that's made visible. Look at your experience, notice your experience, notice how you feel, and let miracles bless you and uplift you. These are nothing small. This is your true function within dreaming. Translates everything into tenderness, the truth into tenderness. It says, born of true forgiveness, the miracle lights the way. I must travel to remember you, to remember God. Born of true forgiveness. So true forgiveness is the source of miracles. Forgiveness is what clears the mind. Remember, forgiveness, what I thought happened, didn't happen. That's what clears the mind so that miracles can just flow. You don't make miracles, you allow them. So you're allowing miracles. Being released from grievances. Miracles are natural emanations of a heart that's forgiving. That's what removes the blocks to love. And love does the rest. There's nothing else to do. Love does the rest. Love naturally flows through you. That's your natural state. It says, peace to all seeking hearts today. Miracles are rest for everyone. The mind is weary from holding up this world. Miracles offer everyone rest. When you allow miracles, you become the resting place for others. Like a still point or a light amid the noise and the fear. This lesson is assuring us that when we extend peace, the tired and weary world receives it. And that allows rest for your own heart. Again, this isn't a metaphor, it's actually metaphysics. It's really simple math. The peace that you share is multiplied. So join me in offering only miracles today. Noticing that whatever we give returns as pure light to ourselves. How in giving peace we find rest. Notice your breath. Notice how on the exhale you can release control. Notice how that feels. And notice on the inhale, inhale, you receive effortlessly. Allowing love in with the inhale, breathing love out to the world, offering it with your exhale. Ah, how about dedicating five minutes to that? Would that be fun? Asking, let me see how to give only miracles today. And notice the simplicity of the breath. Let this image that you made be a channel of light, not striving for anything, not even healing, but just allowing love to flow through you, feeling this light filling you up in your heart and radiating out to bless every encounter. And that's including all thoughts that you have, even about your individual self. Bless, bless, bless, bless your experience. Whenever you're faced with irritation or attention, notice it's just blocking a miracle. Something in you needs forgiveness. What you thought happened didn't happen. Let the answer come to you in silence. Offer up all the thoughts that tell you why you should be irritated or you should have tension. Offer it. Notice shifts in yourself and in situations. Before you sleep, recall the miracles you allowed. That's any moment where you chose peace instead of judgment. Remember, choosing peace is extending forgiveness for anything that you're holding against the world. You're holding something whenever an upset feeling comes up. Notice that what you thought happened didn't happen. The upset feeling has no cause except you're projecting it. What's causing you to project it? That's an underlying belief that'll be resolved when you recognize that the surface play is only a dream. Feel gratitude for each miracle that came and comforted you. See if you noticed clarity or joy. What you gave was yours already. You just felt it. You felt the effect. And what you receive, the love that you receive, keep extending it. That's how you keep multiplying it in yourself. Yesterday we learned what you give, you receive. That was 344. Today it today, Jesus is teaching how that law expresses itself through the miracle. The miracle's a form of love that the mind in time can understand. It's heaven translated into perception. Eternity expressing is gentleness. You can't hold back a miracle. It's natural for you without denying it to yourself. Because that's your nature to extend miracles. Every time you offer a miracle instead of judgment, it's like you're opening a corridor of light that reflects back to you immediately. And so this loop is self-sustaining. Forgiveness, miracle, peace, forgiveness again. What a fun loop. And of course, in Miracles says elsewhere, miracles are natural. When they do not occur, something has gone wrong. This establishes you as the giver of peace. As the one who can do God's will in the world. When you offer only miracles, you enter into this flow like a divine circulation. Like the heart circulates blood. That's a good symbol. You just open up this flow, and it's just blessing, blessing, blessing. The world is blessed through you. You're blessed back immediately. And you begin to find rest in this act of blessing, and that's all you want to do. You are the light, and the light has come. Offer only miracles today, so they're returned to you.
