Clarification #14: What Am I? Introduction to Lessons 351-360
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Stop chasing wholeness you already are. We take a quiet, uncompromising look at the ACIM clarification “What am I?” and trace a path from fixing to remembering. Instead of striving upward for a future enlightenment, we learn to descend into stillness, let words do their pointing, and then let living do the rest. Along the way, we unpack why nothing in you is broken, how fear simply signals forgetfulness, and how forgiveness becomes a precise, practical way to clear space for love to shine.
We explore the shift from judgment to Christ’s vision—seeing innocence where habit sees sin—and why this is not denial but clarity. The eyes that used to scan for guilt start blessing by default. Shared identity dissolves the myth of private minds and competing fates; every “I am” becomes inclusive. When you remember that you are the home of God, the old urgency to seek in the world fades. Seeking ends, not in exhaustion, but in fulfillment as attention settles into what has always been true.
To make it real, we offer a simple daily rhythm: set the tone at dawn with “Show me how I am God’s Son, one and whole,” return to it each hour, and use any moment of strain as a gentle cue to turn inward. At night, recall where you joined in love—a smile, a kindness offered or received—and let that evidence teach you what you are. If a thought bites, meet it with “This thought doesn’t mean anything,” and feel the grip ease. By practicing this way, words fall quiet, perception softens, and peace becomes natural.
If this spoke to you, follow the show, share it with a friend who’s seeking, and leave a quick review to help others find the path back to stillness. What line stayed with you most today?

Introduction And Core Question
SPEAKER_00Aloha, this is clarification number 14 from a course in miracles. This is the introduction and foundation for lessons 351 through 360 with Hope Johnson. What am I? I am God's Son, complete and healed and whole, shining in the reflection of His love. In me is His creation sanctified and guaranteed eternal life. In me is love perfected, fear impossible, and joy established without opposite. I am the holy home of God Himself. I am the heaven where his love resides. I am his holy sinlessness itself, for in my purity abides his own. Our use for words is almost over now. Yet in the final days of this one year we gave to God together, you and I, we found a single purpose that we shared, and thus you joined with me. So what I am are you as well. The truth of what we are is not for words to speak of nor describe. Yet we can realize our function here, and words can speak of this and teach it too, if we exemplify the words in us. We are the bringers of salvation, we accept our part as saviors of the world, which through our joint forgiveness is redeemed, and this our gift is therefore given us. We look on everyone as brother, and perceive all things as kindly and as good. We do not seek a function that is past the gate of heaven. Knowledge will return when we have done our part. We are concerned only with giving welcome to the truth. Ours are eyes through which Christ's vision sees a world redeemed from every thought of sin. Ours are the ears that hear the voice for God proclaim the world as sinless. Ours the minds that join together as we bless the world. And from the oneness that we have attained, we call to all our brothers, asking them to share our peace and consummate our joy. We are the holy messengers of God who speak for Him, and carrying His word to everyone whom He has sent to us, we learn that it is written on our hearts, and thus our minds are changed about the aim for which we came and which we seek to serve. We bring glad tidings to the Son of God, who thought he suffered, now is he redeemed, and as he sees the gate of heaven stand open before him, he will enter in and disappear into the heart of God. That concludes the text. And then it goes on from there to show that God's son has never changed. And the only way for God's son to know God is through you. The truth doesn't get fragmented. Nothing's ever missing or wounded. None of it needs to be remade. Creation is perfect. It's one extension of itself. See, creation is whole means that God's Son is not a fragment of God. You're not a fragment of God. When he gave himself to you as creation, he gave you all of himself as a single extension of love itself. There's no breaking that apart, there's no severing that. So healing isn't about repairing anything because nothing's broken. This hasn't been severed. It's about remembering. Remembering the essence of you, the truth of who you are. That's when your perception of fragmentation gets resolved. It says, in me is his creation sanctified and guaranteed eternal life. So the guarantee of eternal life for all of creation comes through you. The essence of who you are is assurance of eternal life for all beings. Fear doesn't coexist with awareness of what you are. It only turns up in the dream of forgetting. That's how you know I've forgotten if there's fear. Fear is any upset feeling. It's represented by any upset feeling. Your remembrance of love asserts the indestructibility of God's creation. And where does that assert it? In illusions. It reflects the fact that heaven isn't distant, it's here. I am the holy home of God Himself, it says. I am the dwelling place of God. This dwelling place isn't found by ascending. You can say it's more like it's found through descending into stillness. It's only within you that the infinite mind, the divine mind, finds expression and also repose. To realize this is to know that you don't need to seek anything. Seek first the kingdom of heaven. That's you, that's inside of you. Once you're in awareness of your oneness with that, there's no seeking. So when you feel like seeking in the world, recognize that's a distraction from seeking within yourself. You want to seek within yourself. And you know, that's gentle, not the way the ego takes it. Remember, it's a matter of stillness. It's a descent into stillness more than trying to ascend out of this illusion. See that? This lesson points to the end of words. Our use for words is almost over now. Hmm. So this whole journey of practicing is really bringing us into this stillness. Once language has been used enough to point you toward the truth, there's a threshold where you sink into stillness, silence. When words are fulfilled through living, they're not needed. The word, the word of God, becomes flesh in you. The word of God is expressed through all of your beingness. Words can still be used for pointing. But really, the words don't have the transfer value that consciousness has. That's what has extension value, sharing value. This is where union is realized. What I am are you as well. Thus you joined with me. So what I am are you as well. See, it's in that joining that you're aware of this oneness, the Christ's identity. This is shared, it's not owned. What I am, are you as well. Offer that to all of your brothers. What I am, are you as well. This remembrance of our shared oneness automatically dissolves the illusion that we're private minds, separate minds, separate fates, competing purposes. We share the same purpose. Every I am now includes you, always has. Now your awareness of, oh, every I am is actually me. The text says we are the bringers of salvation. This is not saving another person. This is in recognizing in another what both of you are. See that? That's how you bring salvation. Recognize in another what both of you are. That's forgiveness. That's what forgiveness induces, let's say. Forgiveness says what I thought happened didn't even happen. That opens the way for remembrance. The recognition of what we both are, what we all are. Forgiveness is what releases the illusion into innocence so that we can see clearly, we can see differently. Joining in Christ's vision. It says, ours are the eyes through which Christ's vision sees a world redeemed. So your mind is the instrument of this perception now, Christ's perception, love perception. The eyes that once looked on the world to judge the world have now been repurposed to bless the world, to redeem the world. To see through Christ's vision means to see sin nowhere. If God didn't create it, it doesn't exist. It's to behold only the radiance of what God created. Sure, your eyes are going to perceive illusions. But through Christ's vision, willingness to see it differently, sink into stillness, know your identity as the one I am. You redeem the world. This is how we end the seeking, first we direct the seeking, first we direct the seeking rightly, and then we end the seeking. The seeking ends when we return to knowledge. Remember, seeking, remember, seeking rightly is seeking the truth within. It says we do not seek a function that is past the gate of heaven. We're not striving for future enlightenment. See that it's only now. We return to knowledge by an unveiling that we allow now. Lifting veils that never really even covered the eternal because they weren't even there. Nothing that God didn't create does can exist anywhere. Imagine veils. Ah, the heart of God, our final rest. The end of this clarification is He will enter in and disappear into the heart of God. This is an expression of this image that we made, this self, lowercase self, dissolving into source or uppercase self. Not lost, fulfilled. The end of perception. The end of all perception. And only being remains. Okay, sitting quietly. Show me how I'm your son, one and whole, first thing in the morning. Let this set the tone for how you go about the day. Not as a seeker in the world, but as love expressing itself. I'm God's son, one and whole. Show me how I am God's Son, one and whole. That's the kind of seeking to do. Whenever there's any strain, any upset feeling, concern, worry. I'm heaven. Heaven abides in me. I am God's Son. Show me how I am God's Son. Take all of those or any of those or make your own. What stood out to you the most about this lesson? Use that. And as you prepare for rest, you might recall where you joined in love. You extended a smile, kindness. You noticed a kindness. That's great too. It's the same. Everyone who speaks is coming from you. And rest in silence. Know that home of silence. How do you do that with thoughts crossing your mind? Notice that these meaningless thoughts are showing me a meaningless world. That's another lesson. See? That's one way you can bring that to the truth and recognize it's no problem. And at a point that won't even be needed. You just notice a thought floating by barely even registers. So you're not becoming what you already are. You're actually remembering what you didn't even lose. God's love is your being. You breathe in it, you move in it, you radiate it endlessly. You don't see what you're radiating, that's a block to love. That's what you have all the power to choose to see differently. To choose forgiveness. This thought doesn't mean anything. That's what clears out enough space in the heart and makes space in the heart of God, your heart, for God to be remembered. Your heart is the heart of God. It's where God is being remembered. In remembering God, you vanish into everything that is. Let that be. It's a beautiful joining. You are God's son, complete, healed, and whole. Let him in. Yea. So twice today and every hour, if you're practicing with me. What am I? I am God's son, complete and healed and whole. I'm the Redeemer of the world. Yea, have a beautiful remembrance. I love you.
