Laura is joined by her Zürich bestie, Chelsea Matz, they met up in NYC for a proper girls catch up sesh. They spill the tea on how their friendship evolved as expats when they met in 2019, the challenges around making friends in your 30s, and what it was like to go from having full time careers to being full time housewives.
As women who moved away from their home states, Laura and Chelsea, share how they’ve managed and maintained their friendships from home. They share notes, habits and feelings about how they keep up with their closest friends overseas. They also dive into what they love about a good house guest when people come to visit them, and what their pet peeves are when they host vacationers.
Chelsea talks about how she’s fallen in love with feeling vulnerable when she travels, especially to places that hold such different cultures and environments than where she lives.
