In this deeply emotional and powerful episode, we will take you on a spiritual journey. Journey through Rome and beyond, walking the same paths where Jesus and his disciples once walked. This episode explores faith, spiritual awakening, and hearing God's voice and stepping out when you feel called. If you ever felt stuck, empty, or searching for more, this message is for you. Family, let me talk to you today from a place deep in my heart, not surface level, not polished, but real. Because there come a time, there comes a time in your life when what used to satisfy you doesn't satisfy you anymore. We had friends, good friends. We laughed together. We traveled together, broke bread together. And there is nothing is nothing wrong with that. But something inside of me and inside of my husband started shifting. It was quiet at first. A feeling, a tug, a whisper. There's more. Have you ever felt like that? Like everything around you feels good. But something inside of you is still hungry. Not for people, not for things, but for something deeper. For God. We couldn't ignore it anymore. So we made a decision that didn't make sense to everybody else. We said, let's go find him. Not just in church, but in places where his presence changed history. And this is when the journey the journey began. When we stepped into Rome, it didn't feel like a vacation. It felt like stepping to something sacred. We walked those copper stone streets and I'm telling you, every step felt heavy. Not in a bad way, but a holy way. Like the ground had a memory. We went underground into the old parts of Rome, the places where early believers hide, prayed, and sometimes died for their faith. And I remember standing there thinking, my problems, my struggles, they real. But these people gave everything. Everything. And something broke inside of me. Not in pain, not in surrender. That's when I felt it. A spiritual awakening that I can't even fully put into words. But clear. God was there. And for the first time in a long time, I wasn't talking. I was listening. It wasn't about the buildings. It wasn't about the history. It wasn't about what God was doing inside of us. We realized something powerful. You can be surrounded by people and still feel spiritually empty. We had friendships, we had laughter, but what we needed was connection with God. And Rome was just the beginning. Because once God gets your attention, He doesn't stop there. The journey continued. That trip opened something up inside of us. We didn't just want to visit places. We wanted to experience God. Every step we took after Rome felt like we were being led. Not on a travel plan, but by purpose. And let me tell you something. When you start chasing God, your life will never feel the same again. Let me be honest with you. Let me be honest with you. The the feeling the immense feeling. Beyond, beyond. The opening up, the experience, the trip opened up so much we didn't even experience things we never felt before. And let me tell you, your your life would never feel the same again. Let me be honest. There was time in my life where I was moving fast, making decisions, not thinking about the consequences, not thinking about God. And even when I slowed down, there were still parts of me that felt empty. That's the part people don't talk about. You can look like you have it all together and still feel like something is missing. That's what this journey revealed. Not just where God had been, but where I had been without Him. A question for you, listeners. Let me ask you something. And I want you to really think about it. Have you ever felt like you needed to hear from the Lord? Like desperately? Not casually, not when you get time, but God, I need you now. Or have you ever felt like God was calling you somewhere? Not just physically, but spiritually. Calling you to change your life, calling you to let go of certain people, calling you to step into something uncomfortable, calling you to or to take a journey that doesn't make sense to others. Because that's what happened for us. It doesn't make sense to everybody, but it makes sense to God. What I learned, I learned that God will meet you wherever you are. But sometimes you have to be willing to say, God, I want you more. And I want more of you. Even if it calls me comfort. Because comfort will keep you stuck. Stuck. But purpose, purpose will stretch you. Talk to me, family. Talk to me. I want to hear from you. And I mean that. Have you ever felt a spiritual pulling you couldn't explain? Have you ever felt like your life needed to change? Have you ever felt like God was calling you higher? Or maybe you've been ignoring the voice because it's uncomfortable, it's unfamiliar, because you're afraid of what people might say. Listen, I get it. I've been there, but I tell you, there's nothing on this earth that compares to being aligned with God. Rome was just the beginning for us. It opened our eyes, it softened our hearts, it brought us closer to God and closer to each other, and that's what I wanted. And that's what I want for you. Not perfection, not religion, but relationship. Because when you truly connect with God, everything changes. Your decisions change, your mindset changes, your peace changes, you change.
