Thanks so much and let’s keep this conversation going

Step into a powerful and faith-filled journey as we explore the sacred waters of the Mediterranean Sea--a place where God's miracles were not just written about, but felt, seen, and lived.  In this deeply moving episode, I share how walking in the same regions where Jesus Christ performed miracles transformed the way my husband and I see God's purpose for our lives.

From the stories of faith, healing, and obedience that unfolded along these waters, to the quiet moments where we felt God speaking directly to our hearts--this journey wasn't just travel, it was a spiritual awakening.  It shifted our perspective strengthened our faith, and reminded us that God is still calling us to deeper places, both physically and spiritually.

This experience opened our eyes to what God has planned for us, and how stepping out in faith can lead to life-changing encounters.

Now I want to hear from you: Has God ever placed a destination on your heart? Did you feel called to go somewhere for a reason bigger than yourself? And most importantly--did you answer that call?

Welcome to From Creepin' Appreaching. I'm your host, Renee R. White, a proud native Washingtonian, born, raised, and still live here in the heart of DC. I spent many years of my life in this incredible city. And it's not just my home, it's where my story began and where my passion for uplifting my community, especially the youth. This podcast is a space where we can have real, raw conversations about life, faith, and purpose, all rooted in the experience of someone who has walked these very streets and understands the struggles and the beauty of life in DC. Hello listeners. We are season three, episode 25. Season three, episode 25. I call this one the Mediterranean Sea, where God's miracles touch the water. Where God's miracles touch the water. Welcome back, it's creepin' a preaching. I want you to close your eyes for a moment. Hear the waves, feel the breeze. Imagine standing at the edge of something so vast, so powerful, so ancient. The Mediterranean Sea. This is not just water. This is history. This is where faith walked. This is where miracles moved. This is where God showed his power over and over again. Today we're going deeper. The Mediterranean Sea is woven throughout the Bible, all through the Bible. It's the highway of the ancient world connecting lands, people, and purpose. This sea touches places like Israel, Egypt, Rome, and Greece. And every one of these places carries stories, real stories, of God moving in powerful ways. This sea didn't just connect land, it carried purpose. Now, while many of Jesus' miracles happen around the Sea of Galilee, it is all part of a greater Mediterranean region. And what happened there? Jesus walked on water, he calmed the sea with his voice, he called fishermen to become disciples. Now imagine that. The waves were crashing, the wind was howling, and with just a word, peace be still. That same God still speaks peace into storms today. Let's go back even further to one of the most powerful moments in the Bible, the parting of the Red Sea. Now, yes, that's not technically the Mediterranean, but it connects to the same region, the same story, the same God. God told Moses, Stretch out your hand, and the waters parted. Can you imagine standing there? Walls of water on both sides, walking through something that should have drowned you. That's the kind of God we serve. A God who makes a way where there's no way. Now let's talk about endurance. The apostle Paul traveled across the Mediterranean Sea to spread the gospel. But it wasn't easy. He faced storms, he was shipwrecked near Martyr, he was imprisoned, yet still faithful. Even in the middle of the storm, God spoke to Paul and said, You will survive. And he did. That tells me something. Even when life feels like it's breaking apart, God is still guiding your ship. And there's something about water. It humbles you, it silents you, it forces you to listen. Standing at the Mediterranean Sea, you realize how small you are, how big God is. And that's why so many people feel a spiritual awakening near water. Because distractions fade and God's voice becomes clearer. Let me ask you something. And I want you to really think about it. Have you ever felt like you needed to go somewhere just to hear God? Not a vacation, not a trip, but a journey. A place where you could breathe again, where your spirit could reset, where you could finally hear him clearly. Have you ever felt like a pull? That silent whisper come closer. If you have, I want you to hear. I really want to hear from you if this has happened to you. Here's the truth. It's not really about the Mediterranean Sea, it's about Rome or Israel or anywhere else. It's about encountering God because you can stand by the ocean, yeah, and still feel empty. Or you can sit in your living room and still feel his presence all around you. But sometimes God calls us to places to remove distractions so we can finally hear him. You may be standing by the Mediterranean right now, but maybe you're standing in the middle of a storm. Maybe life feels overwhelming. Maybe you're searching. Maybe you're tired. Let remind you, remind you, the same God who calmed the sea is with you. The same God who parted the waters is making a way. The same God who guided Paul is guiding you. You're not alone. If this message touched your spirit today, share this episode. Follow me. Creeping to preaching. Leave a review. Tell me how I spoke to you. And most importantly, ask yourself these questions tonight. God, where are you calling me to? And when he answers, have the courage to go. Until next time, stay rooted in faith, stay open to the journey, and remember, sometimes God meets you right at the at the water's edge. Grab your copy of my book on Amazon or Bonds and Noble.
