A Serbian Film (2010) | Don’t Skip the Terms & Conditions
If you’ve been in the horror space at all since 2010, you’ve most likely at least heard about “A Serbian Film.” Directed by Srdjan Spasojevic, the film is a commentary on censorship, specifically in Serbian film circles. Its story follows Milos, a retired adult film star who comes out of said retirement after he is made an offer he can’t refuse. Too bad he really didn’t read the terms and conditions of the contract…
In this episode of the C*ntroversial Cinema Podcast, Cosette and Liz discuss the film and its message, and the pros and cons of censorship in media and film. They also discuss whether they would recommend this movie to anyone. (Spoiler alert: They don’t.)
