I'm always fascinated by new technology, especially AI. One of my biggest regrets is not taking AI electives during my undergraduate years. Now, with consumer-grade AI everywhere, I’m constantly discovering compelling use cases far beyond typical ChatGPT sessions.
As a tech founder for over 22 years, focused on niche markets, and the author of several books on web programming, Linux security, and performance, I’ve experienced the good, bad, and ugly of technology from Silicon Valley to Asia.
In this podcast, I share what excites me about the future of tech, from everyday automation to product and service development, helping to make life more efficient and productive.

Altman's AI Roadmap: 2025-2027 Enterprise Impact
According to a report on Sam Altman's roadmap, the future of AI holds significant changes, particularly for businesses, over the next few years. Autonomous AI agents are expected to revolutionize coding, becoming a dominant force in software development by 2025. By 2026, AI is predicted to drive major scientific discoveries, potentially leading to significant breakthroughs in fields like medicine and materials science. Altman also foresees robots becoming serious contributors to the economy by 2027, moving beyond niche uses to widespread integration in physical workspaces. Furthermore, AI customization is expected to evolve towards models with massive context windows, allowing them to deeply understand and leverage vast amounts of information. Finally, the development of a new protocol for AI agents to communicate is anticipated, akin to HTTP for the web, enabling seamless interaction between different AI services and organizations.
