The American Small Business League Podcast
The American Small Business League is a national advocacy organization that protects the federal programs that help small businesses. ASBL exposes the diversion of "small business" contracts to large corporations, opposes measures that would hurt small businesses, and promotes new opportunities for them.
ASBL's Don't Cheat Women Project wants to stop S. 4390 and H.R. 8511, bills that would dismantle federal contracting programs, including contracting goals, for women-owned and minority-owned small businesses. These bills would close businesses, erase jobs, prevent agencies from tracking who receives federal contracts, and allow 100% of federal contract spending to go to companies owned by white men.
Help us stop the bills that would wipe out the 5% goal and help us get the goal raised to something more fair. See what you can do at www.DontCheatWomen.com.
For almost 40 years, ASBL Founder Lloyd Chapman has won 100+ Freedom of Information legal victories, prompted investigations, appeared on national media, and forced agencies to correct misreported small business awards.
99.9% of all U.S. businesses are small businesses, yet billions of dollars in “small business” contracts are routinely steered to large corporations.

“For decades, our government has funneled wealth from working people to Wall Street and the billionaire class. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. It’s time our government worked for us, not them.”
