Good Mama Meditations
Briana | Night
In this evening meditation, Briana gently guides you to release the day’s burdens as you rest "between two suns." Through soothing imagery and a calming invitation to let go, she encourages you to trust that whatever you’ve held onto will be safely kept for you, or released if no longer needed. With each breath, Brianna’s nurturing presence reminds you that you are never alone, offering peace and comfort as you drift into sleep, with the promise of being there with you tomorrow.

This meditation was written by Mama Brianna. I share some of her story in the Good Mama Brianna. Good night, my daughter, as you rest between two suns. Rest. Rest, my daughter, between two suns. Lay down your head. Close your eyes. Release the weight of your body into the support of your soft dream. Rest, my daughter, between two suns. Where the setting of one brings a chance to lay down what you have held onto, so tightly today. Open your hand. Relax your grip. Soften your face. Let me hold it for tonight, keeping it safe. Rest, my daughter, between two suns. If with the rising of the second sun, it is still something you need to hold on to. Rest, my daughter, between two suns. Still something that needs your tending and nourishment. I will have kept it protected and ready for you. But tonight, let me feel the weight of it between two suns. If in the wisdom that comes to you between these two suns, you discover that this thing you held so tightly, reveals itself to no longer need your grip, your attention, or no longer serves you, let me keep it. Let me send it on its way to its next keeper, to its next purpose. As it travels away from you, far, far in the distance, still softly sending fading messages, reminders of why it was yours for a time. Say goodbye. What now remains in your heart and mind is only what is still needed, the lessons that need to stay. And what is now created is the space that remains from what didn't. Say thank you and release. Release and feel free. Rest, my daughter, between two suns. As you allow the day to wash over you, receive of its teachings, of its goodness. Recall what it taught you about what is for you and what is not. Feel, feel, my daughter, that I was with you today. Do you remember? Did you feel me there? I am always with you. You are never alone. Sometimes, I go before you, clearing the path. Sometimes, I walk beside you, hand in hand. Yes, you, I, too, are always there. Yes, I am there. Sometimes, I walk before you, clearing the path. Yes, you, I, too, are always there. My own body cooks will be cause you ooh and ah. Do you remember? Did you feel me there? I am always with you. You are never alone. Sometimes, I go before you, clearing the path. Sometimes, I walk beside you, hand in hand. Sometimes, I watch you from afar, free and vibrant, free and vibrant, itri, and glory in your path but I am there and even now as we soak in today's nourishment allowing it to sink into our skin between these two suns my presence can always be felt. I am in the gentle wind on your cheek in the nourishing drops of rain on your outreached open palm in the grass beneath your feet in the giggle of a child in the whispers of a loved one in the smell of the pine. I am felt infusing you with life-giving strength in the nose in the yeses in the pause in the flow you, I see you my daughter you are in the morning light you are dawn rising you are in the hug in the gentle talks in the wildflowers on the canvas even in the tears in the pouring out of your heart in the doubt and feelings of inadequacy. I see you, I hear you my daughter above the sounds of the roaring waves of today above the whirling of your questioning thoughts above the cries of your longing heart. I hear you, my voice calls to you peace, peace, trust yourself you are what you need. I am here to simply remind you of that to add a voice when yours may be quiet. or unsure now rest my daughter between two suns with permission with your invitation my hand rests upon you with a healing touch with a comforting warmth With a nurturing motion, I am here, and I will stay.
