Um so this industry has really taught me that um whatever works for you, yeah, you know, and that you're if you're happy and you like the way you're living, then I'm all the more power to you. And that's something I've kind of learned as I've gotten into this is that everyone has kind of a unique experience and a different view on outlook on relationships.

But again, there's everyone has a different relationship that works for them, and I think you can absolutely find that. I don't think it's far-fetched.

And I'm okay with like my partner doing content. I'm okay with content. But you cannot meet me and then decide all of a sudden you're a content creator. You have to be an established content creator.

Alright, alright, alright. Let me let me let me um let me let me go a different direction real quick. What are some of the challenges, Jen, um that you are seeing from your from your purview? And then I'm gonna ask Summer Summer and Derek the same, even though they are more new to the scene, newer, not necessarily new. He's new, she's newer. She's been what are let's speak on some of the challenges. Because I think a lot of people who listen to this, they're like, oh, I want to get involved, but it's like, hey, you may need to know some of the hurdles that exist, you know, some of the pitfalls that exist. You know, let's speak on that a little bit.

Yeah, I mean, I will say that if you are thinking that you're gonna get in this industry and it's gonna be fast money, it's not fast money, it's a long game. You know, you have to cultivate your content, you know, that's it takes time. I mean, there are page shoots out there, but they're hard to get. Um, and that money goes just as fast as it comes. So, like, I've learned um that really like your the money is in your own content, but it takes time.

The money's in your own content, but also as your status raises, let's um then the money's also on the party services. Right. So to speak. Yes. Let's call it that, right? Um I'm not gonna it's in party services. It's in the people that want to experience experience that you know, I've seen you, blah, blah, blah. Can I experience it? And that experience, hey, you it's like You sure can.

You gotta you gotta, you know, you seen summer on the floors, da da da, and it's going crazy, and it's and you've seen her on the move candy but you know, look, you gotta pay to play. You can't you go to a club, live in Miami, you gotta pay to get in, you gotta pay to play. That's right.

I think that um just starting out, there's a lot that you have to just kind of learn as you go. And there's gonna be mistakes that you make, and there's gonna be um situations you get yourself in where you just kind of have to learn from it. And I would say as far as safety is concerned, I would say that the um for me in the beginning was that was the hardest part was to kind of vet people and decide who was safe and legitimate to work with. Um being a new creator, you're almost like prey for people to take advantage. And so you kind of have to do some research and talk to some people that you trust and get advice so that way you can kind of have your footing when you start. I definitely think I made some mistakes in the beginning and I'm still learning. Um, so it's just kind of like one of those things where you have to kind of have determination to keep going, even if you have some hurdles in the beginning.

Hurdles I run too is being one of the one of the top global independents, right? Not owned by any corporation. Um you know, grinding for the six or so years at this point, I think about over three 3.1, 3.2 million Twitter handles. Um the YouTube. Uh when I first started Astrid Clan TV, like people are like, why? You know, started from zero now, it's about to hit 1.8 mil subs. But you you the haters You need haters because haters basically haters don't hate on on failure. Haters don't hate on someone at the ground. They all they gotta have something to hate on, right? Whatever, right? They wanna Shannon Sharp, he did his part, you know, blowing up whatever, and then all of a sudden, boom. Right right before he was got his was gonna get his deal. Tactfully. It's always tactful, you know, whatever, right? And so one of the things, you know, I try to support minorities, no matter if you're Latino, African American, you know, Asian, whatever, that are trying to be business owners or trying to come into, you know, whatever. Um but it's not easy. You know, you have to be strong-willed, you have to always improve your process. Um, you have to adhere to certain model changes, you know, and now we have an administration that is anti-adult. Project 20. Oh, we're not, you know, we're not gonna lose project 2025. All right, you're yeah, that's going on, right? Um, and so there's so many challenges and hurdles, but you just find a point of passion and you find you get to a point where you like what you do, um, and you modify the product, right? Um, you work with interesting individuals, you work with new faces, um, you find out the ones that believe in you what you what we what you do, and you put people on, you know. And so it's like if you're doing those, and now uh shall equintis, equintis media, hiring people, etc., hiring really smart, successful people in their own right, and saying, hey, let's build, help build people up. There's nothing negative about none of that. No, none of that. At least you're doing something positive. No, no, no, no, no. We can't. That's just that's what I don't like about industry. You're actually trying to put people on, trying to get people jobs, trying to help people boost like what with you with the quintess and boost so that you can do other things. You don't have to worry about nothing.

What are you know, what are some of the challenges that that you've seen, you know, just coming onto the scene this far?

Um, personally, I just when I first came on of a lot of people reaching out to me, come shoot this, come shoot that. I turned a lot of them down. It's just I don't vibe with the people that actually run the company. It's either they want me to do this or be in this way or do that, and it's no really no freedom, especially being black coming in. They think you're just some hood dude off the street, they think you're a pimp, they treat you like this and that. And so, or they want you to do things you're not comfortable with, they wanted me to do a bunch of gay stuff, and I was like, I'm not doing that.

So As opposed to talking with me, well, coming to this direction, and me the first one of the first Christians, where do you want to go? Where do you want to be? Another one was like, Okay, let's break it down. And then let's let's build, let's talk. Right. Right? Let's un and then I said, like you heard me say to Samson Blaze, I want you to understand the business before you really go too crazy. Understand what's the odds and ends of understanding the business. No different if it's uh if it's in the financial world, understand why. That's important. If you're in the if it's a music, there's a music person um that I'm working with, um, Axiom, and I said, I want you to understand why certain deals are done, why certain streaming deals, understand the business, because that's gonna help you understand where your music needs to go and why and how, why you need to get a certain playlist, etc. If you don't understand the business, forget about making a product. Right? And so it's like again, you try to do say the right thing, you know, maybe one and out the other, but you know, and and that's what you know, like I think the conversation we've had last, especially last night, you know, and then then someone's like your knowledge base is increasing, you know, what you do with that knowledge doesn't apply properly. Right? That's and that's in a sense, if y'all want to hate on that, hate on that. But anyway, I think it's getting time that a couple of people, a few people, are gonna do some things.
