The Hurricanes had an opportunity, with a win in Boston, to get back to .500 on the road this season. It did not happen. Swayman was good for Boston, the Canes got 40 shots and it took them until late in the third to score. Justin Robidas got his first NHL goal, an unexpected good moment at the end of this one.
