Season 2, Episode 49: "Where She Lies"

In this bone-chilling episode of Carman's Crypt, we follow Lucy as she takes what should be a simple autumn hike through Snowbird Forest—the woods she's known since childhood. But when she discovers a trail of shoes leading deep into the trees, she stumbles upon a horror that has been hidden for fifteen years: the unmarked grave of Sarah Chen, a teenage girl who vanished without a trace during a camping trip and was never found.

What begins as a terrifying discovery becomes something far worse when Lucy realizes the dead don't rest peacefully when they've been forgotten. Sarah can't speak—the dead never can—but through horrifying sounds and visions transferred by her cold, decaying touch, she makes Lucy understand the desperate loneliness of dying alone in the dark, and the unbearable weight of being buried and abandoned.

As Sarah's spirit follows Lucy home, manifesting in reflections and shadows, Lucy must decide whether to reveal what she's found and finally give Sarah the burial and remembrance she deserves—or keep silent and live forever haunted by the girl who refuses to be forgotten again.
