Therapy, Dogs, And CBD Wins
SPEAKER_05Uh life been life, and you know. Uh when you get uh empty nest, but your your children are your dogs, man. Just take on a whole nother thing. So right now, hey, so it's funny because I had my I had my therapy sessions on Friday, my physical and my mental. And I was talking to my mental therapist, and um, you know, she, you know, we always talk about my dog. So I I informed her that my dog Sophie had another seizure. And um, but uh she's doing a lot better, man. We uh we switched to medicine, we added C BD, bro. And when I tell you that this CBD is doing wonders, she's almost youthful. Wow. Uh uh, so yeah, uh, we were talking about that. But he also was talking about my other dog, Rob Kim, who was in boarding boarding school, right?

SPEAKER_05Yeah, so we found that um, you know, uh good thing we waited, we waited to the end of the season, man. So we they knocked off almost like 1400 off the price.

SPEAKER_05And um they give a uh excuse me, a daily uh report card and uh tell me, inform me what they worked on and show me videos, and it's like yeah, man. It was a great idea to do that, man.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, man. That's decision we made. Oh man, that's that man, that's dope, man. And where is where is this this this spot? Because would you would you recommend people to do that to do it?

Pets, Parenting, And Household Order
SPEAKER_04Okay, Great Lakes Dog Training, man, dude. That that is dope, man. Yeah, that that is dope, you know, because bro, I never hear she say that's bougie, but I know I know that's that's funny. But uh no, man, really, because I see I this is kind of going off on a little thing, man. But when you see people, you know, because the the your pets, man, are very intricate in the family, man, dynamic. Yeah. And you see people, man, I I often be looking at people in a situation where when their animals are unruly, their children tend to be unruly. You know what I mean? It's I'm serious, man. It's like it's like it's a real, a real thing. But when I see people, a person who has like very uh, you know, mindful animals, man, and all that, they their children tend to be like, so I don't know, I don't know if there's a direct correlation to it or just to be coincidental, but it it it definitely I see it. I can t I can see the difference, dude. And that's that is something, and we want our children to be obedient and compliant, but we let our our animals, you know, just well, they're animals, just let them be. No, they they can be trained, and you know, in the person that has a house that they uh particularly like you, man, and uh that you you know just love it being peaceful, yeah, and and orderly, man, you you're gonna have to have animals that that comply with that, man. So dude. I commend you. I don't call it bougie, I call it wisdom, bro.
SPEAKER_05But yeah, and she was I know she joking, I know. Yeah, it was tongue in cheek, because uh because uh it was funny because she's like she caught her dog and she put she picks your dog up and the dog has a bow in his head.

SPEAKER_05You know, and think about growing up, the next generation is always supposed to be better off than the previous, right? Am I right?
SPEAKER_04That that's ordained for it to be that way, absolutely.
SPEAKER_05You know what I'm saying? And you know, we always say, like, we you know, I'm on the lead this world better than you know, absolutely I experienced it, and man, I would have never expect that my kids will would would experience racism more than I ever ever. You know what I'm saying? It's like you know, because now you know our parents really dealt with it, and so their stories is borrowed to us, you know. Absolutely, we didn't actually go through it, but it's borrowed and we understand the situation, sure.
SPEAKER_04But man, nowadays they going many having the experience, man. Yeah, man. Yeah, man, you know, that's crazy.
Car Prices, Leasing Vs Owning, And Tech
SPEAKER_05Going back, you know. That's that's like we said before, you know, that uh that that slogan, man, that phrase make America great again. That's has some evil to it. And and then we talk about going back to what we gotta do.
SPEAKER_04Right. What was great, what was great about the previous.
SPEAKER_05How about improving what we experience in our life? Exactly. Dude, um, before we get on topic, uh I saw that the the standard price of an automobile is fifty thousand dollars.
SPEAKER_04Yep, yep. Going going through it right now, man. Well, two things. I just got, you know, I just replaced my my whip, and then my niece, man, just had an issue and she needed a new car. And I'm I'm um, you know, me and my wife is uh you know trying to help her through that process. And yes, bro, I'm talking about standard, nothing. It used to be a luxury whip, man, was like 50. I mean, fully loaded, got everything in it, bro, but the kitchen sink. Now you getting the base boy, basically, at 50 grand.
SPEAKER_05Who can afford that, bro?
SPEAKER_04I mean, when they know, but when they know you you gotta have it, you know what I mean? When they know you gotta, it's just like the groceries or whatever, man. It's like when it's a situation that you know people have to do it, uh you know that it's yeah, it's just they're just taking advantage of the people, man.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, they're gonna find another way because there's no way this is gonna sustain it.

SPEAKER_05Oh no, on maybe arguably the worst investment anybody can make is an automobile, which which is why I always I leave my boys, man.
SPEAKER_04That because bro, it just don't make sense to purchase because it's man, it just cost it's and you know what, and and you know, not to to you know belabor this, but investing in an automobile now doesn't make that type of sense that it did back in the day. Because once you owned it, man, you know, fixing carburetors and all of that stuff is you know, was relatively simple to do. And you could get your car to last like 10, 15, 20 years. Now, man, with all the more technology you putting in this stuff, man, this stuff do break down. Yeah, it's it's you cannot take the the day of the backyard mechanic is over, bro. You you can't do that anymore. And uh this stuff, man, they do no, it's it doesn't, it's a it's as you said, one of the worst investments you can make as far as the part, unless they're trying to sell it to you. You know, when you go to try to sell it, you know, they tell you about how much it's it devalued and depreciated. But when you purchase it and you tell them, look, bro, this thing got 15,000 miles on it. You use they they don't want to factor that depreciation in then, you know. That's it. Yeah, it's yeah, it's bro, it's it's it's because I bought a used car and it was I sh bro, I spent 25,000 on that boy.
SPEAKER_05You know what I'm saying? But I don't think I I don't think I did that that I have had that um owned cars, paid it off, and then was able to have this grace period where I didn't have a car note, sure.
SPEAKER_04Like car payment, which is like, yeah.
SPEAKER_05So that's like, you know, and but yeah, that's the right thing. That's one of the best things. But I don't think about when I was leasing, I was so worried about uh the gas mileage and right and going over the yeah, and the gas mileage, and then just um just you know, I take care of it, but I was like it was like it felt it didn't feel like it was mine, so yeah, I was constantly like it was a bubble wrap, you know what I'm saying?

Can Followers Of Christ Celebrate Halloween
SPEAKER_05Uh sure. Followers of Christ celebrate Hollow Wing. Man, uh, we at this time of year.

SPEAKER_05Uh one of the that's arguably it was one of the, I mean, was the top three? Maybe uh maybe top three or four holidays.
SPEAKER_04Oh, top, top three for sure. Top three, absolutely.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, it's probably it's celebrated more than the fourth of July, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_04Oh yeah. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_05Because uh my neighborhood is full of ghouls and goblins.
SPEAKER_04Yes, indeed. Yes indeed. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Hey, but you know what? I can't I came across I remember I told you about Matt McMillan said it's okay for Christians to or follows of Christ. We like to say followers of Christ. Um uh celebrate Halloween and and I didn't know what he was talking about until I was doing my research. So Nehemiah 9, 1 through 3, bro, it talks about that. Um it says, uh now on the 20 24th day of this month, the children of Israel were assembled with fasting and sapcloth, sackcloth, and with dust on their heads. Then those of Israelite lineage separated themselves from all foreigners, and they stood and confessed their sins and iniquities to their fathers. They stood up in the place and read the book of the law of the Lord their God for the for one fourth of the day, and the other another another fourth they confessed worship, worship the Lord their God. So, but in the New Living Translation, when they at the beginning where it says now the 24th day of this month, it says October 31st. And that was his reasoning for saying that, Christians.
SPEAKER_03But I was like, stop it, man.
SPEAKER_05Nobody, when people celebrate Halloween, they're not doing that.
SPEAKER_04They're not doing it.
SPEAKER_05They're not doing that. You are not doing that.
SPEAKER_04Those are the those are the honor the Lord, right?
SPEAKER_05Yeah, and it's all about traditions of men. That's one of the things that we're here to help you get out of and worship God the true way, right?
SPEAKER_04Absolutely.

Freedom In Christ And Its Limits
SPEAKER_04Well, man, you know, first, you know, you're gonna have people that's gonna say that, you know, okay, Christ, you know, liberated. And you know, we all about bringing people into freedom. Yes, but freedom is not to be viewed from I'm I'm free to do everything. There are certain things that I am free not to do, you know, and and that's that's part of freedom too. I I don't have to do this. And Halloween, particularly people that follow Jesus, man, you you already know that for the most part, and we'll and you'll get into breaking down some of the origin of it and everything, but everything is is not redeemable, you know, everything doesn't qualify for redemption. And some things you just need to uh to leave. It's like, you know, when the church first started when you're reading the book of Acts, it says as the apostles began to, you know, distribute the message of the kingdom and it grew, people were bringing their their books, their sorcery books, and all of this stuff in in a pretty in a town square and burning it, you know, like get getting rid of it. It wasn't the fact that I'm you know liber, I'm free to to still partake and and do this in Christ and bore the way to sin, which he did, man. It's not just about fixing the relationship with God, it's about man wanting to honor him and to to bring him glory and worship him. And I don't see where Halloween does that. I don't see where it can even do that.

SPEAKER_05You know, I haven't celebrated Man, what you think about? I was like, that was on point.
TikTok Clip, Conviction, And Discernment
SPEAKER_04Praise. Praise. Yes, what a break now, for sure. Absolutely. Concise and to the point, man. And I think the the the brother was spot on. Uh, I think he referenced the right new covenant scriptures because, you know, again, the affinity is gonna always try and pull you to, well, Christ set us free from from the from law and the curse of the law, but that that doesn't mean he set us free to where we can just participate uh in in celebration of any and everything, man. It's it's it's the opposite of that. He set us free so we don't have to be servants to the flesh and and fulfill, bro. If it's candy, go to CVS, man, you know, or whatever your whatever your candy store and just go get you some. You know, if you want to dress up, man, you know, go go to a party or do something, man, throw a party with a thing to it. If you just want to have some fun and step out of, you know, just you know, into another character and have fun with it. Why on the day that is a is a known satanic uh day, and and and knowing that for the most part, this is about uh fear, uh horror, scary stuff, things that are gonna have residual effects long beyond the day. And and not only are you uh have to you're experiencing it and partaking of it, but you're celebrating it. That's that's just beyond my comprehension for uh people that follow Jesus. I just don't get that.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, and I'm sure like he said, if you fill with the Holy Spirit, I I've noted the Holy Spirit, it's been times because man, just this time of year, man. All these scary movies come on TV, and it's and it's a tradition. I have something I'm trying to break. I some of these movies I watch. Uh I don't get into the demonic ones, but you know, um, I'm watching this show about this uh alien invasion and stuff like that. Yeah uh but there are some shows and movies where his Holy Spirit is like stop and even when I try to fight him, he he like he even though he's a gentleman, yeah, he's he still overrides me. Because I can't, and you know what I'm saying? There's no way I can have the Holy Spirit and enjoy it and what I'm watching.
SPEAKER_04Right, absolutely.
Children, Imagery, And Spiritual Doors
SPEAKER_05I just like I just give in and I just turn it off, change the channel, something like that. Yeah, that's real, man.
SPEAKER_04Absolutely. And and and part of and you're talking about the like you say in the traditions of man, man, but where it it's also one of the the hollow you can't even call it holiday, but it's one of those days that you that they celebrate Halloween that you introduce your children to at a very young age.

SPEAKER_04And I mean, and it's and it's it's surrounded with and shrouded with manipulation and and and enticing you to take to be involved with it, with the the candy and the the the imagery and all of this stuff, man. People be putting their children, their infants in costumes, and they have no even no clue to it. So it's it's almost like you're you're tagging them at an early age to be antagonized by the enemy, man, because people don't realize what is happening in the spirit when this day is is is celebrated the way that it is.
SPEAKER_05We got to keep in mind that the spirit world is real than the physical world.
SPEAKER_04It's the world. It's the world, absolutely. It's the one we come from. Absolutely.
SPEAKER_05And those spirits that we talk about, especially on that day and leading up to that day, those spirits are just they are eating it up, they loving it, and then they follow the children through their life, you know. And then um and you wonder, like, why my child behaving this way? And sometimes, I can't say all the time, but you know, Halloween could be part of it, you know.
Strongholds, Idols, And Yearly Rituals
SPEAKER_04Um it's no way that it's not part of it. Yeah, right. You know, celebrated every year. Yeah, it's it's it's right. It's it's celebrated when when you when you see something that's celebrated continually, like, and God is the one who is the God of setting celebrations in place. I mean, he commanded areas and times and seasons where people are to celebrate it. Remembrance is not it, it's a powerful thing. And it's amazing how we attributed everything that God has you participate in is powerful. But anything that you that it's not of God, it's not godly, you think, well, it it doesn't have any power or authority because God ain't backing it. That that's a hundred percent not true, man. You know, this there are opposing forces that are out there that are imitating God. They take a they take his blueprint. And all you for me to continue to have access is for me to set this stronghold up in your life that you continue to celebrate year after year. What anniversaries, birthdays, all these things, man, that we celebrate. Why? Because it it it empowers us, it makes us feel good about how how long we've been a part of this, uh, you know, been born, how long we've been in this relationship, how long we it's a celebration that has power connected to it. And why would Halloween be any different?
SPEAKER_05Matter of fact, I cut that video short. He he goes on to say that uh, you know, you we we're convicted to stop celebrating. He said, but then if you if it becomes a stronghold and you still continue to celebrate it, it becomes an idol.
SPEAKER_04Absolutely. That that's the purpose of it. Yeah, that is the bro. I know people that tell that I know people that Halloween it they proclaim it as their favorite holiday of the year.
SPEAKER_05It was once mine, it was once mine, man.
SPEAKER_04And and and man, and here's the thing, bro, I get it. Why? Because of all of the the the community that's around it, everyone celebrates it. We all get to, you know, come out, have some fun, get some candy, go do this. It's it's what the enemy, it's what the scriptures call beware of the dainties of the enemy. He of course he's gonna entice you with things that will appeal to you. He he's he's going to fan the flames of the flesh, man. He he this is what he does. But here's the thing that you always always use as a marker when it comes to the enemy. He doesn't come but to steal, kill, and destroy. He comes for no, it's not just what he does when he gets there. He doesn't come without that being the mission. Nothing he does is outside of killing, stealing, and destroying. So he doesn't mind you having fun and and and and being, you know, all celebratory with stuff because at the end of the day, I'm gonna kill him, I'm gonna steal from them, and I'm gonna destroy them. It it is what he does, bro. That is his characteristics, is his nature, it's what he does.
Candy, Safety, And Curses Claim
SPEAKER_05Let's focus on the on um what people say the good part of Halloween. That is the giving of the candy, right? Just think about growing up. There's just candy, bro. I mean, and like and went through his phases, and and it got to the point where uh you had to take your candy to the police station. You know what I'm saying? Scanned and yeah, man, because people were putting razor blades and pins in it and soon. I and I, yes, man. Make sure the powder, if it's if the candy's open, you know you're instructed not to eat the body. Uh don't take any fruit.
SPEAKER_04That that was right, right, because they can inject the fruit with bruh.
SPEAKER_05Razor blaze, yeah, inject with stuff. And so check this out, man. It was a Satanist that I was I was seeing. He was talking about Halloween. He said, he said, yeah, we have witches and warlocks. He said, we go into these department stores and we put spell, put spells on the candy. And he and he's a born-again Christian now. But he said, when he was in the and we was uh uh sell uh worshiping Satan, and um he said, Yeah, we would go and you know uh put spells on the candy.
SPEAKER_04Curse the candy. Yes, curse the stuff that's yes putting oh man, dude. Yeah, I mean that right there, you know, and um and we'll say, oh that that that don't have no power, but we can pray over stuff and think we got power on it. See, this is what I'm saying. You don't get to pick and choose what works. No, as you said, the spirit world is the true world, it's where everything comes from. It's power on this on in in demonic and dark things, too. They understand how to work these things. Why? Because they learned it from God, they learned it from Yahweh, bro. They like this, it works. It's it's no different than if I bro. If I learn how to shoot in the in from in the military and become a marksman and all this stuff to protect, I can't use those same skills to go out here and and wreak havoc with them. Why do we know that naturally, but we think somehow spiritually it's it's different, it's amplified spiritually.
SPEAKER_05And these people that was uh worshiping a satanic church, man, who who left the church and And now uh serve Christ, man. I mean, they they give you the real business, man. They tell you what's up, and and you you should listen when you hear them talk because they came out of that. They came out of it.
SPEAKER_04I mean, right?
SPEAKER_05This is some real stuff, these witches and warlocks. This is some real stuff.
SPEAKER_04And they be confused, man. They be like, when we came to Christ, man, what they were like, why do Christians feel the need? Why are they drawn to it, man? I mean, it's like they they are confused because they're coming out of that to step into the the light and the truth and the power of Jesus and and the kingdom. And they see that man, it disgustes people when they come out of that stuff and to see the way how indifferent Christians tend to be towards it.
SPEAKER_05And um I started studying Anton LeVay, you know, he's the high priest of the satanic church, and he said that the biggest day on the satanic calendar is Halloween. And one of his famous quotes is uh I would like to thank Christian parents for allowing their children to celebrate Satan for one day.
SPEAKER_04Oh my God.
SPEAKER_05And he so he he talked about three days that they really celebrate in what they uh uh was a Walporkish knot, that's April 30th in the court Halloween. And then they also uh say that people celebrating their birthday is a satanic day, right? Uh because you know you put yourself above everybody. Birthday behavior. What is that, dog? Birthday behavior, my birthday weekend, right?
SPEAKER_04Right. Oh, everything that we can do, right?
SPEAKER_05You can't tell me that because it's my birthday, right, right. It's me day.
SPEAKER_03Right, right, right.
SPEAKER_05I thought hashtag birthday behavior.
SPEAKER_03That's crazy, bro. That's crazy. Oh, but yeah.
SPEAKER_05It is real, man. It's real. I got so many notes, but yeah, let me find these notes, man.
SPEAKER_04Hey, why are you doing that, man? I just okay. Let me just give this this one practical application. What is one of what is one of the things that we teach our children uh when they're going out and to beware of strangers? What what became the motto? Do not take candy from strangers. We we would tell teach them that, but on this one day, it's okay. Why is it okay to say why is it okay to because every house you go into is a stranger's house, pretty much. I mean, yeah, right. You go to your neighbors and stuff. I get but what about the you going knocking on strangers' doors, man, and just taking candy from them?
SPEAKER_05What and then when you get the candy at home, you you take it out, you dump it, and you spread it out, and you comb it out to see if it's anything. No feces, man.
SPEAKER_04Right, why is right? What makes today worth that, man? Parents, The Matrix, And Intercession

It's not that God is saying he rejects you and not loving you, he's saying, but he can't protect you, he can't, his blessings are rejected from your life because of your your rejecting his wisdom and trying to show you how to navigate and experience it the way that he wants you to. If he does it once, game over. Yeah, everything is being held together by his integrity, man, his word. And if he tells you leave this alone, you do have a choice not to leave it alone, but don't look at God crazy when, like you said, when your life starts, man, nobody would think the celebration of Halloween might have something to do with some crazy stuff that's going on in their life, they'll never make that connection, but you don't recognize look, man. The last temptation that Satan gave Jesus trying to trying to get at him, he says, Look, he took him up to a high mountain, and he said he showed him the kingdoms of this world. He said, I'll give you all of these kingdoms and the glory that comes with them all. Satan is really saying, I don't need you can get all the recognition, Jesus. All I want you to do is bow down and worship me. And the actual Greek context of that, and all Jewish scholars will attest that statement Satan said, if you just bow down and worship me once. I just I just need you to do it one time. Well, if Satan can get you, he's letting you know I'll give you the glory of all 364 days if you just bow down and worship me on this one.
