I know that we usually catch up at the beginning, but I think what we should do is tell the people what happened last week. Every Sunday, we a lot, we give a lot of time between 8 to 10 to record our podcast. And um so the subject today is the mark of the beast, and we was having so much uh technical difficulties. And so we're talking through the whole time, and then all of a sudden, like I said, a lot of time is from 8 to 10. And round 10 o'clock came, the technical difficulties ceased.

Why Delay Helped Rethink The Topic

That was so tripped out, bro. That was so tripped out, man. And and that let you know, man, that there would there was some type of divine uh intervention and postponing that from happening. And you know, at first, you know, you initially want to attribute it to the to the enemy, man, trying to fight you, you know, and keeping us from coming on because of the subject matter. But then afterwards, uh as we meditated on it and thought about it, man, did it it it could have very easily been the father blocking it, man, to give us opportunity to uh, you know, to to study a little more about it, you know, be a little more intentional with it. Um and and also, man, to and I'm just speaking for me in this in this context, that I that I can change my position and perspective in the presentation because it's so much, man, I always want to go after the enemy, and I just hate him so much that sometimes it comes off uh like it's being aimed at the people of God, you know. And um and and that had to shift because man, you know, we normally we come at it, we a lot of times we just do that kingdom free, you know, freestyle and and go off. But um, yeah, it it this this is such a serious matter, bro, that it it had to take some really um different and intentional things to happen. So was it the enemy doing it or or got allowing him to do it to so that you know he always used this dude to work his perfect will, bro? So it's like letting a dog off the leash and letting him do what he does, and you had every intention on uh you know using that situation for you know a whole different reason. So he does it to destroy, and a lot of times, man, um you know, not that God uses the devil to hurt people. Oh yeah, the joke but yeah, you got yo man, dude. We we gonna have to get that one too. But okay, uh, but yeah, he just man, he's a lot he allows it, man, because what the enemy mean, you know, intends for evil God, you know, he works it for good. So yeah, that was a trip though, bro. That was being real time experiencing it. It was a trip.

Research, Discernment, And Holy Spirit

And so I was like, I just was being distant to that. Yeah, every time every turn he was telling me not to do this and not listen to that. I was I was shutting it off. Come on, bro, come on, shut it off, and this was leading to what's going on with the mark of the beast, man, because if whatever goes down and you got the relationship with the father, yeah, the trinity, the Holy Spirit is going to alert you. Yeah, what is about to go on? It's it's no way around it.

Because the the Holy Spirit is literally, and I love the fact that you said that that you know, yes, do your research, do the your due diligence with things, man. You you can't just be studying for studying's sake, because Solomon said, Look, man, look, studying a lot of you know, just that stuff can be never, it can be not non-ending. You know what I mean? It's just man, that's why he just broke and said, like, look, I gave myself to study everything. And he was like, and then what happened is I came to the conclusion of the whole matter. Yeah, I need to I need to listen to God, man. You know what I mean? And that's when it comes down to this. This is why the Holy Spirit has been given to us, man, to to silence all the and navigate us through all these voices, bro, because there's so many of them, man.

Is bruh, Jesus said they gonna people gonna stumble as it pertains to the Holy Spirit because they can't see him. He he literally tells us that's gonna be a problem for a lot of people. So if I already know that Jesus telling me one of your biggest impediments from hearing and walking with the spirit and having a relationship with with him will be because you can't see him. Yeah, well, then what am I gonna focus on, bro? I'm gonna focus on learning to uh be a person that can discern things, that can know the unseen without seeing it. You know what I mean? That he's letting us know what area of discipline you need to begin to go into on purpose, and that's not just uh we're not just arrested and imprisoned by that truth. Like people are gonna struggle with it because they can't see him. Oh man, so that means my relationship with the Holy Spirit is just gonna be a constant struggle because I can't see him. No, get over that initial part. Yeah, he's here. The the the the faithfulness of the father is what makes everything everything, bro. That I can walk by faith and not by sight. Be it, faith is not not knowing, faith is knowing what God said and believing and acting on what he said, and that's bro. Holy spirit, you can't beg up Holy Spirit enough, bro. Yeah, right.

Calling Out Loveless Church Culture

He he let he is he he will tell you things that's gonna happen, but he recognizes that we have our own personalities, we're our own people, and we're gonna sometimes do things and respond to him. We're gonna either sometimes not listen to him at all, respond to him slow, or something. So he he's with us through the bumps and the bruises, he's here to help us to avoid those things. Yeah, but if we do, if it happens, it's not like Adam, we're not trying to cover up our disobedience. We come boldly to him with it, and and he has mercy and he shows us how to get ourselves back on track, man. That this is the beauty of it. It's not that we won't make mistakes, bro. I don't know why people think that when we are finally reunited in physical connection with with the father, the son, and and the holy spirit when it's just just glorified in that eternal bliss, then we're never gonna no longer make mistakes and have you know accidents and stuff like that. I don't know where that comes from, bro. I don't know what who started that doctrine.

And she was like, Well, every time you hear somebody say Christian, you you all over it, like you want to be down with them. I said, Look, shouldn't we expect the best from our brothers and sisters? You know, that saying that they walk with Christ. She's like, Yeah, we should, yeah, but that's not the case, so I don't get caught up in that. And she's more talking about when you advertise as a Christian business or you know, stuff like that. She boy, you're talking about turns her off immediately, man. But it's because of that, it's because of the behavior, and not all are like that, but none should be like that.

Launching Into The Mark Of The Beast

Reading Revelation 13 In Context

He causes all both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive mark on their hand, on their right hand, and on their on and on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has mark or the name of the beast, or the number or the number of his name. And I just should have gone farther. What with the number six? Let me see, man. Okay, then um I have this is the new King James ver uh translation 13, 11 through 18. Okay. And we're starting off with the uh beast coming out of the earth. Uh then I saw another beast coming out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. He ex and he exercised all the authority of the first beast and beast in his presence and caused the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. He performed great signs so that even so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth and in the sight of men. And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to to do in the sight of the of the beast, telling those who dwell on earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image and the beast to be killed. He caused all both small, which I said, small, great, rich, poor, free slave to receive the mark on the hand, foreheads, and that no one will buy and sell except for one who has the mark or the name of the beast or the number of his name. Here is this wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of man, his number is 666.

“The Time Is At Hand” Explained

Go ahead. Okay. So, bro, like you just said, Revelation is is is deep, it's heavy. It's a very weighty book. And it's a reason why that a lot of people fight and trip over the interpretation of it and all of that because they even avoid it. Or avoid it altogether. You're right. Yeah, because they like, well, whatever happens in the end is gonna happen, and you know, hey, you know, let's just, you know, focus on all this other stuff, rapture, tribulation, all this stuff. And but I'm not gonna study the book because it's it literally says he that reads it and understand, you know, that that this is a blessing for those who read it, and they to hear the words of the prophecy and keep the things that are written therein. For the time, listen, okay, and I'm uh let me just read the first three verses of Revelations. So it says the revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him to show unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass. And he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John, who bear record of the word of God and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein, for the time is at hand. Bro, if you miss, as we we just talked about this, about being off one degree, if you're in a plane and you take off by one degree, we call it the one degree principle. If you don't course correct, and your flight was supposed to be three hours and you were supposed to land in Denver, if you were coming from Michigan, if you don't course correct, bro, by the time you you the three hours come by, you are states away from Denver. You're nowhere where you were supposed to land, just being off. The problem with people in trying to interpret the book of Revelation today is that you're looking at it and you're trying to contextualize the scripture to make it fit because you're reading it now, yeah. When it was actually written to a people who lived then. He literally says, the time is at hand, that means it's now. Yeah, and he said that Jesus this is the testimony, a revelation of Jesus Christ. Christ is giving this revelation, and he sends his angel to John to tell him everything as it pertains to it. And he's and John says, I bear record of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ and all things that he saw. He is literally telling you. I'm testifying to the I'm giving witness to the testimony to this stuff because it's happening now in our time. He said, This it's shortly to come to pass. That word shortly means it's happening now, a brief space. In it literally is the Greek word tekos, which means in haste. Yep. If somebody says something is happening in haste, I don't mean it's gonna be 2,000 years, bro. I mean it's happening now, yeah. Yeah, and John is saying, and blessed is he that reads and under now and keep the words that's that that he's hearing. Did you did you okay? Bro, he says who he says, blessed. Is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy? That means this prophecy is gonna be read and heard by the people in that time. John is bearing witness to this, bro. So if they're looking for Elijah because when Elijah comes, then they know the Messiah is shortly behind because Elijah comes before him. Jesus was confronted with that same. Well, if you if you uh uh the Messiah, bruh, where's Elijah? Because the scriptures say Elijah's supposed to come. Jesus said, you know, that's true. Do say that. And Elijah did come, but people didn't realize it because it was John. It never said Elijah was gonna come back, it said come in the spirit of Elijah, and people missed it, and they're literally Jews to this day waiting, and and what is any different than what we're doing, bro? It's already happened, and we're still looking for this this as you said, this great tribulation, this this rapture, this this pouring out of God's wrath on the earth and all of this.
