Start with a holiday laugh, end with a heart check. The Gospel Twins open up about a painful anniversary blowup, the shock of hearing a spouse step back from supporting the show, and the heavy feeling of trying to pray while a marriage is on edge. That honesty becomes the spine of a wide-ranging conversation about covenant, conscience, and the quiet ways our choices shape our spiritual life more than grand gestures ever do.

They dig into First Peter 3 and what it means to honor your wife so your prayers aren’t hindered. Love that covers rather than exposes sets the tone as they contrast kingdom integrity with religious performance. From there, they take a sharp year-in-review: changing political tides, protests that put conviction in the streets, sports surprises, AI leaps, and stories that tested our sense of justice and mercy. The headlines aren’t just noise; they’re prompts to ask better questions about power, truth, and responsibility.

Fasting comes up as a practical reset, not a stunt—a way to lay anxiety, marriage tension, and daily strain before God with focus. The brothers talk about living consistently across platforms, why box church optics leave us empty, and how small choices—like respecting a coworker’s dietary convictions—reveal the kind of people we’re becoming. And yes, the G.T.s challenge the churn of rhyming “prophetic words.” The better word is older and simpler: choose life. Guard your heart. Tell the truth. Honor your spouse. Let your everyday choices preach louder than your captions.

If this resonates, tap follow, share it with a friend who needs courage for a hard conversation, and leave a rating to help more listeners find the show. Your support helps us keep the talk honest, practical, and anchored in the kingdom.

SPEAKER_04

Gotta get some context for that statement, dude. Right. We've been trying to we've been trying to log on for what an hour and a half? Almost two hours, dude. Man, dude. I would say your phone doesn't your phone doesn't sound bad.

SPEAKER_06

It's not the microphone, but it doesn't sound bad.

SPEAKER_04

It don't sound bad. No, no, no.

SPEAKER_06

When you get a chance to see what's up with that Google and all that type of stuff, man.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, we're gonna get that fixed, dude. Because we're gonna be we're getting ready to go into the video, man. Come on, yeah. What's up with you, man? How you doing, dude? Man, happy holidays to you, my brother. Yes, sir. Happy holidays, man. Yes, sir.

SPEAKER_06

How was your Christmas? How was your Christmas?

SPEAKER_04

Oh man, it was good, man. Just you know, it was kind of low-key, you know, man. You know, just family here at the house, didn't didn't do too much. Uh, you know, and just had some homemade pizza for dinner, you know, and just chill, man. Watch watch some football, open some presents, of course. And uh yeah, man, it's good. It's good. How about you, man?

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, how was in presents, man? You know, this was the year where I wasn't expecting anything, so I really did anything to tell the truth, honestly.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Uh my my my stepdaughter Tamija hooked me up though, got me one of them MJ boys, man. She gave me an MJ uh long sleeve t-shirt, man. It's almost like a sweatshirt. It's it's a thick, it's a t-shirt, but it's thick. It's soften inside. And um, it's it's you know, it's the fed my favorite MJ era with uh well, he's at the uh you've seen his shirt. They advertise it all on social media where he's covering his face with the glove. He like he's shy, he's covering his eyes and smiling, yeah, yeah. Yeah, and so the gloves is rhinestone and the and his shirt is rhinestone.

SPEAKER_03

I was like, oh, this is shirt.

SPEAKER_06

But uh what happened, yeah. But you know what it is, though. The tradition, and just so used to open. I don't know about you, but me, I was just so used to, I don't care if it's anything, just opening something. So I really didn't open anything, yeah. And what I end up doing is and I found myself doing it, was going into my toy room, and I had several toys that weren't open. I was in there opening them, bros.

SPEAKER_00

So I can so I can get that feeling.

SPEAKER_06

I didn't realize how many stuff I didn't have open. Wow. So I'm going in there and like I'm grabbing two boxes at a time, watching TV, taking the action figure out and posing them while I'm watching TV.

SPEAKER_03

That's what's up, man.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, I'm letting you know.

SPEAKER_03

That is hilarious. That is, man.

SPEAKER_04

That's what's up, man. So what's going on, my brother? Where are we going? Where we going?

SPEAKER_06

Well, we spot I'm gonna talk about you know recap the year.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

From Tech Hiccups To Year Plans

SPEAKER_06

But be but before we do that, uh, I don't know. We'll see what what is, you know, what the spirit takes us or what is the the ebbs and flows of this conversation. Yeah. Uh do you remember that episode we did called I'm My Brother's Keeper? Remember that one?

unknown

I do.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Okay, yeah, it was it's one of our better ones. Uh I don't want to approach that again.

SPEAKER_03

Okay.

SPEAKER_06

But this one. So uh man, the thing about marriage, man. You know, we we never we usually don't even talk about marriage, marriage. Right. And uh we know how serious that covenant is. Yes. And um, I mean very serious, uh, to where like in the Bible tells you, man, you know, it ain't it ain't for everybody, you know. You just might not, if you don't think it's for you, you shouldn't do it. Right. Because the responsibility that's behind it. You know, uh and uh my wife and I had to celebrate our 11th on the 26th.

SPEAKER_04

Yes, sir, man. Congratulations on that, man.

SPEAKER_06

Thank you, thank you, sir. But having said that, you know, uh we had a we had a big blowout yesterday. And so you know, I I try to avoid talking about my marriage and uh the issues that I'm having on here. I mean having with the with the with the uh marriage on here. Yeah, but uh she she had said something, you know. We you know, you know, at one point my wife was our biggest listener, yeah, most faithful listener.

SPEAKER_03

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_06

So she so she said um she she revealed to me yesterday that she don't listen to it because of uh our relationship, what we're going through at the moment. And um, and she's like, uh I don't treat her like a child of God. I was like, oh man. So yeah, we had a big, we had a big uh data meeting on that one. Bro, so one thing about it, we understand, we we understand that we can't go before because we like to go before the father, man. We gotta make sure our relationship is tight before we go to the father, sure. And so, so one of the things we do is we always apologize, like we don't let it sit. Yeah, and um I apologize, man, and it but it ended up leading to a bigger arc.

SPEAKER_04

Yes, it does sometimes, yeah, yeah.

Marriage Transparency And Conviction

SPEAKER_06

Uh, and I was like, oh, because think about it, I I can't stand when we have these these disagreements, and um I feel like um I don't know about you, but when I'm like when they were like really big, like what we had yesterday, felt like I'm separated from the father, man. I don't know, maybe something, maybe something in my mind or my spirit. I just feel that I just feel like I don't like feeling like that. I feel like I'm separated from the father, man. And and I try and I try not to feel convicted by it, and so I try to make amends, but sometimes like yesterday was just really bad. And um it's something we working on. Um because I told her, I was like, you know, I always keep it hot, humble, open, and transparent on here. Like I told her, I was like, look, I was like, you know, I don't talk about it because it's involving you and you might not want certain things spoke about on here. So I speak about my side of it. You know, uh we both seeing counseling and and we're trying to work on it. Yeah, and um, but uh yeah, it was it was really big, man. And you know, I felt really bad when she said she don't listen to it because our what our relationship is going through right at the moment. But yeah, I'm like it's you know, and one thing about it, we are transforming. She is, I am, I'm definitely transforming. Absolutely, all of us, absolutely, you know, and I like and I like the you know, and I love this platform. I'm able to come and talk about it. So it's like I'm not hiding anything in my life. All right, my social media platforms are public, all of us.

SPEAKER_03

Right, right, absolutely. You know what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_06

Absolutely. Uh here I'm talking, I got another podcast, I just talk. So if you listen, if you go to my social media platforms and listen to both of my podcasts, you pretty much know who I am. Right. I don't I don't hide from anything. You know, I get things uh that's part of my personality. I get jeered about all the time. Uh me being vegan, me being vegan is one of them. I get people just they take their jabs as much as they can. It's like, man, uh but it gets kind of old, bro.

SPEAKER_04

Man, I can imagine it do, bro.

SPEAKER_06

It's like it ain't it's not it's not cool, man. And so, but I was telling her, like, um my life is almost an open book, man. And I uh and it's designed that way, and it helped me keep me honest, you know. My main my main thing, man, and besides I mean talking about my marriage is uh my cannabis use, you know. So I stopped smoking, you know, but I do I do I do uh partake in some edibles uh on on the weekend or something like that, um or anxiety moments like that. But sometimes I just I just choose not to. I'm like, you know, uh if something comes up with like high pressure moments, I just deal with it. But once I came on this platform, I came in this podcast and I and I admit it, uh, it was a big old burden, a big old weight lifted off my shoulders. So I don't like, I don't have anything to hide. And so this right here would be the other thing. And um, and well, um we working on it, man. You know, it just we working on it. But I just it was really bad yesterday. It was really bad. Uh, and I just don't like it. I don't like feeling like um I can't go to the father to uh we reconcile our whatever the issue is and um uh but yeah yesterday I was very I felt separated from the father and I don't like that feeling.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, yeah. Man, that that is that's that's powerful though, man, that you'll be forthcoming about that. And what I do appreciate about you, man, is that and I can testify, you know, the the scriptures say let another man praise you. And is it is that you are the same person everywhere, you know, as even even when we was talking, you know, even earlier, man, you know, he was like, it's very hard for you to be dishonest or lie, you know, about certain things, even at the expense of another person's, you know, not really getting it, and it can hurt their feelings, man. But, you know, one of the things that the scriptures Solomon says that open rebuke is better than secret love, man. I mean, it's it's better to tell a person how you feel, even if it's to the point of rebuke, than to just keep it on the hush, like me, man, like we was talking. I because my wife is so um, man, she's so atmospheric, man, you know, and which is a gift that God's given her, man. She she can affect the mood of a of a room, bro, you know, a house or any this where she's at. If she's not in a good place emotionally, it brings, man, a heaviness. Like she it projects, you know, her feelings, like just begin to permeate. And that is a gift that God gives her, man. And I always tell her, why don't you use your powers for good, you know, and not and not always doing this, but but so that being said, man, I may take a a workaround to try and deal with her. And we were just talking about, you know, like that's still a line, man. You know, if I'm withholding certain information from her, because I know it's gonna spend her into a certain direction or whatever, um, I'll avoid it. You know what I mean? And that's that's still, you know, that's that's oppressing truth unrighteously. So yeah, that's that's not a good thing, man. So I've always admired that about you, dude, because you're like, hey, man, it it is what it is, and you know, we're gonna have to deal with it. Just like when it was something that you knew about that was going on in our marriage, and uh, you was like, man, you're gonna have to have that conversation. You know, you're gonna have to do it, you know, and I know that ultimately. And uh, but it's good to have people, man, that you can look at that's transparent, like you said, hot, you know, hot, humble, open, and transparent. And you're like that across all your social medias. You're like that when we're just talking and we're together, kicking it, you're just the same person all the time, man. And I I've always appreciated that about you, man.

SPEAKER_06

Thank you, man. I try to be like that because I when I come across and I when you know you have like these work relationships, and so there's a comfort level, comfort level established at work. But when you tend to see people outside of work, they they just they act differently. And I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, man, I just saw you yesterday. I gave you a hug when I saw you. Like now it's like now you playing coy, like what's going on?

SPEAKER_05

Right, right.

SPEAKER_06

Now you act like you don't know me. I thought you were my homie. Now you act like you don't know me. I do not like that. I'd be wanting like I be wanna call people out, like man, you wouldn't like doing it, but you know, I they be around their kids or they sniff the other.

SPEAKER_05

Sure.

Honoring Wives And Hindered Prayers

SPEAKER_06

Uh but I don't I don't subscribe to that, I don't understand that behavior, but I do know it, and then when I see it, I recognize it, I just let it go. Yeah, but uh I I just try to just be even killed, man, all over the place, man. But yeah, I man, when my wife said that to me, man, and I was like, Yeah, you know, I it's hard for me to fake the funk, man. So you're not getting along. I mean, I can you know I can say certain stuff, but it gotta be organic. I can't just make this stuff up or just say stuff just to be saying it and not feel it in my spirit, man. I uh my relationship with the Holy Spirit and I man, I I take that seriously. And I'd be in some situations be hard, like, you know, you gotta say something, man. And I and I just go and do it. Yeah, and you know, I can't control what the response to that, but right uh I'm gonna say it though. Absolutely. I was told, I was instructed too, so I'm gonna be faithful to that, right? And uh uh but yeah, I just you know, it just sucked that it was our 11th man, and then we have all this and for sure, man. For sure, and then you know, and then and then you know, she expressing herself, and I mean it's nothing like I mean what she said was the truth, man. And and what I said was the truth as well. Right. And we gotta just gotta find a way to deal with it, man.

SPEAKER_04

To deal with it, but at least the truth is out there, and you can honestly, you can, you can deal with it from that genuine place, man, you know, and not you know, trying, you know, and you still got stuff that you know that's left unsaid, and you know, and it doesn't contribute to it, man. Because I've done that again with my wife, and then when it comes up and she'd be like, John, why didn't you, if you felt like that, why didn't you say this before? You know, it was your response, man, because I was afraid how you were gonna respond, and I didn't want to deal with you that way, man. What an insult that is to your to your spouse, man. And let me read a scripture real quick. Let me read, let me read this. This is first Peter 3, bro. Uh, and this is verse 7, and this is the amplified version. It says, in the same way, you husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, with great gentleness and tact, and with an intelligent regard for the marriage relationship, as with someone physically weaker, since she is a woman. Show her honor and respect as a fellow heir of the grace of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered or effective. And and what you're saying is a is a real life, real-time situation expressing what Peter said in this letter. Is when you are when you know that you're in a contentious uh relationship at a point in your relationship with your wife, it should be a thing that bothers you to that magnitude. Like, man, I I can't even, I don't even feel good going into prayer knowing that me and my wife is is like this. And that's a good thing because Peter said, Yeah, you should know that because your prayer is gonna be hindered because of it. Because you're not honoring, and you know, and women, they they're a lot of women read the scripture and they don't like it because in the current King James it says showing respect to her as unto the weaker vessel vessel. And women, they hear that word weaker, don't look at me as we know. That is not how he's putting that. He's putting that in a perspective that of you being honored that way, you know, that I'm I'm I'm handling you gently because I'm honoring you, because you are the woman. And you know, and I I can't stand how women want to step into this masculinity that they're not built for, and it's giving them all kind of uh health issues and everything because they're not built for that, man. You know, no, no, you treat me the same. No, I can't do that because we're not the same, you know. It's just the way that we're wired, bro. We're just not the same. And and Peter tells us, husbands, that's on you. You know what I mean? This is this is what the father has given you and the role responsibility to take the take the reins and um and be gentle with her, but get it, get it straightened out, man. And uh that's that, bro. I love the fact that you feel that way because a lot of a lot of more people could feel that way. You can't disrespect this relationship, this marriage covenant, and think everything with you and God gonna be good to go. And please don't take the fact that his gifts and stuff are still operating in your life because those are without repentance, bro. He he'll never take them from you. You just got skilled in operating the gift, but that don't mean that you and in the father's cool, yeah. I I love that man. I appreciate you having that conversation.

SPEAKER_06

Hey, and also, too, uh, and I thank you for bringing that scripture up because you know, uh, that was a foundation scripture when we got married, and it was a scripture that we all I definitely would refer to whenever we had some you know traumas or something like that. Yeah, oh she threw she threw that in my face.

SPEAKER_00

What happened to Peter? What happened to that scripture? And I'm like, they used to disquote it.

SPEAKER_03

Right, right. You're right.

SPEAKER_06

It's right now. It's it's hard to feel that way. Yeah. Because what's going on with the this tension is going on.

SPEAKER_04

Emotions are real, bro. The emotions are real. They run high sometimes, dude. Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

So it's like it's I I remember the scripture. I remember right now.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

I don't wanna apply that right now.

Heart Posture Over Performances

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, so yeah, definitely. I uh she threw that in my face. So I was like, Yeah, you're right, you're right. But you know, we're in a different space, we're in a different space right now. And uh we gotta we gotta work our way back to it. Yeah, and and I will say this though, man. I I don't know, like I said, we both see in therapy. I I don't know who her therap her therapist is. Uh and I'm not gonna even pretend that I do, but I do when I when I went to sort out a therapist, I wanted them to be a follower. I want them to be uh, you know, be in the family. Yeah, for sure. And so I know that my therapist uh has a relationship with God, and so it comes out uh in her advice or whatever, just how she just trying to get me. And you know, I like the way she also does it. She don't necessarily tell me what to do or think, she draws it out of me, you know. Yeah, so she's like, so what you know, what you trying to be intentional about, and um it just draws out, and so then a lot of rev in that process, it's a lot of revelation coming out of it, bro. And it's just man, she she's genius, man. I mean that's why she's a therapist. Absolutely, you know, absolutely, you know, uh, but I don't know of my wife getting the same type of thing. Uh her her uh her results is different from mine. But you know, we're working on it, man. We and think about it, you got you got the you got the you know, I got the marriage triangle, you got father, you know, husband and wife. Yeah, um so I always keep that triangle in my in my head. But I gotta be real about service. For sure. We'll see, man. For sure.

SPEAKER_04

And I again, man, I appreciate you for you know being your willingness to be open about that, man, and uh, and maintaining that uh spiritual integrity across all platforms, including the podcast, because man, social media has a way of uh we're taking the selfies, the pictures, and you know, and we doing all of the little fun shots and stuff, man. And and it gives an unrealistic impression that everything is always this gravy in in these people's lives, and it's not, man. And it is that's just not true. And and and the thing is, man, I I love that because the marriage covenant is one of the most expressive covenants of our relationship with Jesus, particularly. And everything ain't always gravy between us and and him either. And and that's an honest, and that's an honesty that has to come forth. Man, Jesus was tight with his boys, man. And the disciples was hit, these was his homies, bro. And he lived with these dudes, he did life with these dudes, and when they would cross certain certain fences and certain lines, man, Jesus, I mean, just take the one when Jesus, you know, just went in on Peter. One minute he praising them and saying how blessed he is, and then the next minute he says something sideways, and the Lord says, Get behind me, Satan. Your presence is an offense to me. Now, Peter, bruh, you know what I mean. You know, for where we come from. You just called me Satan, man. But Jesus didn't even deal with the fact that this could he could take this wrong at this point. Jesus was just dealing with the spiritual, you know, the things that was happening right then. And Peter just happened to be the the conduit of of Satan's, you know, Satan's little trickery, man. And Jesus put it in check. I'll deal with the the brotherhood relationship of that later, but I'm gonna deal with the spirit right now. And and we need to be okay with this, man, knowing that everything, you know, you ought to be able to go in prayer. And the Lord look at you like, uh-uh, like what's what's the why are you here? You know, like, well, I'm here to I'm here to pray. And what's you like with the stuff going on with you and your wife, you act like you don't recognize that, you know, and think we can just kick it, you know. Like, and you can't talk to him about them unless you plan something favorable on them, you know. But you can't be like, Lord, you know how they are. There's he don't want to hear that, man. You know, and that's you know, and she knows them triggers, and but he but why are you so triggered by that though? You know, why does that bother you so you know, so bad? And and then he forces, as you said, your therapist, he draws it out of you, you know, and that's that's an amazing thing, man.

SPEAKER_06

Man, we gotta rem we gotta realize that God is love, and love covers a multitude of that. Yes, he does.

SPEAKER_04

Wait a minute, before you move in, I'm gonna give the mic right back to you on this. But literally, bro, I was in the bathroom yesterday morning, and all Holy Spirit said was love covers, it doesn't expose. That was bro, I didn't even know what that was even referring to. I'm like, what wait a minute, what? Come on now, come on now, but I've gotten wise enough over the years to know that if it's not relating to something I'm going through right now, it's something that's coming. And he's giving me the wisdom, you know, to deal with before it shows up. But bro, love covers it never resposes. That's what all he said. Like you just brought up the the word, man, that love covers a multitude of faults and sins, bro. Take the mic, take it back.

SPEAKER_06

You know, I was listening to Prophet Easy. She was talking about, you know, just love and and just we gotta just it's all about the heart.

SPEAKER_03

It is.

SPEAKER_06

He don't answer he's like she was talking about him like uh not focusing on the deeds of your hands, but your posture of your heart, always, and that's just so huge. And it's like, you know, because people get this new disgrace thing that you can't lose this and that, and you can't, you know, you can always be safe and all that. No, yeah, your heart posture gotta be your heart gotta be. It's gotta be all the time, bro.

SPEAKER_04

You you're right, and you may not do the right stuff. Even this is why it says that David was the man after God's own heart, because God saw David had a heart to always please the father, but David did a lot of crazy fricked stuff, though. Yeah, why can this man, how can this man be a man out of God's own heart? Or he didn't conspire, conspired to commit murder, he didn't commit adultery, this dude then, you know, he didn't set people up and all this stuff, dude. How can he be a man out of God's own heart? Because you're looking at the behavior as God told Samuel, the one who anointed David and Saul's day. He said, You look at the heart, you look at the outward appearance, you look at the stuff on the outside, I look at the heart. And that is that is our relationship with God is heart to heart. This is what trips me out so much about Christians that say they they want us so much. I can't wait to stand before the Lord and see Jesus and this and that.

Box Church, Images, And Integrity

SPEAKER_06

No, you don't, man. What? I'm gonna put that off as long as I can.

SPEAKER_00

Let me what?

SPEAKER_06

Bro, hey, dog, we talk about Prophet Easy, man. That that dream that she had, how she was like, you know, like people wasn't arguing, you know, and and God was saying, What you how why you respond this way in this situation? Why you didn't do this in love? Why you what was your patience in this situation? Right. And and then it's like depart from me, and then like I depart from me into the lake of fire, like what because you and I don't talk about that. I don't, I don't, I don't like talking about that. It brings about fear, right? You know, it brings about fear, but that's the real stuff.

SPEAKER_04

It's real, it's a real place. This this is what I always tell people when they say, Man, why don't you never talk about hell? Because I used to talk about it all the time in my Christianity days. But when I since I became a kingdom citizen, I only because hell ain't a part of the kingdom, so I know who it's for. It's for the Satan and and the ones who follow him. And it's very hard to be cast away from God. But here's the caveat: don't go so far to thinking that it doesn't exist and people don't really go there because it's apparent in scripture that it is a place and that people do go there. And so the people that we talk to are are typically people that are not even in that in that realm of going that direction if they're listening to us. I'm not talking about people that you know just coming in and trolling or nothing like that. I'm talking about somebody that's literally listening to us and listening to us, how we present the kingdom, how we present the kingdom in everyday life and this and that. Hell is not in your future, but hell is is then if somebody's going, you know, and there's people that's going now. How do I? But if you do things, it hell can become a distraction trying not to go there. You spend all your life wasting your life because you're trying not to go there. And I know so many believers and Christians that spend their lives trying not to go to hell, and they never do live a life, and that is just as equally as insulting to the father in of itself. But people do need to realize your heart needs to be right before God. It needs to be right before God. Because here's the thing: if your heart isn't right, really right before God, and you don't really appreciate him and keep his commandments, not obey his commandments, keep them, meaning that you fully believe them even when you're tripping, like you were talking about even in the marriage situation. Because you keep the things that he says concerning your life and that covenant, it it it's you're not thinking about the fact that I'm gonna go to hell because of this, I'm gonna do this. This is the hindrance between my relationship with my father, and I don't like that. You literally don't like it because that's a love thing, man. And if your heart is like that, then you don't ever have to worry about being cast away from the father. But if you don't keep and guard his his commandments, like protect them in your heart and everything, because out of your heart flows the issues of life, you you guard it, bro. And so many people done let so much crap into their heart that all they're doing is going through the motions with God, man. But they heart ain't there. You know how many people are sitting in a pew today, and they heart is not even about the father at all.

SPEAKER_06

Man, don't get me started on the box church, bro, because you already know it's it's a routine. Yes, a routine, right? Because I was in that routine, it's just like fuck it up. You know, just like with that book, uh what the the guy was talking about, getting up, arguing with your wife, kids, right, arguing and fighting, like nobody really wants to do this, and then all of a sudden, as soon as you hit that, as soon as you hit that church, you just turn into a different person.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, hypocrisy, hypocrites, hypocrites, hypocrites, bro. The leaven is the leaven of the Pharisees, he's warned us about that. Like, beware of that, man, you know, and but people embrace that leaving with the quickness. But the leaven of the kingdom, man, they they resist that, but anyway, no.

SPEAKER_06

One person I know is not like that is my wife.

SPEAKER_00

We get into arguments, she's taking it to me. Right, right, right, bro. Check this out, Tom.

SPEAKER_06

So I can't remember the argument. All I remember is that hey man, your wife is in the bathroom, man. People in there praying for her. Like, what? What's going on? Oh, she had she was in the bathroom surrounded by sisters laying hands on her.

SPEAKER_04

There it is. Like, no, you gotta respect that more than anything, man. Because I'm not gonna go into this sanctuary and be trying singing songs, lifting my hands and saying, 'Ah, man,' and I got all this this stuff on me, man. Come on, bro.

SPEAKER_06

I respect that. But I waspect it now. I was I was embarrassed, bro. Like, uh, I wanted to high. I wanted to get back in the car, man.

SPEAKER_04

Which is the good thing, which is a good thing, because that's another the father prefers to use humility and to humble, you know, the situation. But embarrassment is a tool that I can use, like, yeah, man, because one of the things you can do to get over the flesh is embarrassed the flesh. Embarrass the flesh is not bro. Yeah, dude. Isn't that she like because she's got the sisters, the depression, man?

SPEAKER_06

She with her emotions on her sleeve, so she's all the man. They putting hands on her, man.

SPEAKER_04

Like some of the stuff we need. What did you right? What did you do? What did you do? Usually you do, man of God.

SPEAKER_06

But yeah, you know what, man? I don't miss the box church. I'm sorry.

SPEAKER_04

No, I don't. I now here's the thing. I do miss gathering with you know with the family. But it's man, we are on so such different uh stages in the journey, man. It's just like you, you you would have to suppress so much of yourself, you know, to just even be there. You know what I mean? And and you ain't really serving nobody like that, man.

SPEAKER_06

Nah, man. I mean, as soon as I walk, I'm triggered. As soon as I walk in, I see the I see the the cross on the steeple.

SPEAKER_04

Don't let them have a full-blown image of me is on the cross, bro.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, oh, it's so horrible. Like, dude, that's our eternal king. Y'all gave him looking all messed up.

SPEAKER_04

That was just one day one day, one moment in in in end today.

2025 Year-In-Review Headlines

SPEAKER_06

You know, yeah, and bro, he's our eternal king. He's sitting on the throne, like, man, y'all, y'all want to concentrate and focus on that, right? He looked, and it's sad, man. Like, we hey bro, like the church in Easter, man, with the with the black, with the black genies like that. Yeah, yeah, man. What's crazy is the birds, man. Birds made a nest in his head.

SPEAKER_03

I don't say it looked like a crown stone.

SPEAKER_06

That and then and the poop coming down the cheek like tears, man.

SPEAKER_03

Wow.

SPEAKER_04

Oh man, I just like, yeah, that is hey man, have you seen man, and we're gonna move on? Let me just do real quick. Have you seen that TikTok or whatever? Some AI generated thing where they show these people in church and Jesus jump off the cross the wall with the cross and run out the church.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, dog.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, please send it to me. It's so airy. Look, get me out of here, get me out of here, get me down off this cross and let me get out of here, bro.

SPEAKER_06

Send it to me because I will make a post about it. I will make a post about it, man. Like, ooh, man, I'm about to get I'm about to get upset. Okay, we don't want to get you up front. Let's move on.

SPEAKER_03

What would you about to go? What would you about to get?

SPEAKER_00

No, all right.

SPEAKER_06

I'm gonna talk about the year in review 2025. What a year!

SPEAKER_03

Oh man, too. Yes, it is.

SPEAKER_06

So I'm I'm pulling, I'm falling from the Britannica.com, bro. So I'm I'm gonna skip through some stuff, but you know I'm gonna highlight some stuff right now. January 20th, 2025. DJT was inaugurated, man. Yes, he was. He is the second president to serve two non-consecutive terms, and the oldest person at the age of 78 to win the office. I thought I thought the other man was, man. They call sleeping.

SPEAKER_03

Right.

SPEAKER_06

It's oldest, man. But you can't be out, you can't be out in these streets talking about people because that's something falling right on you. Yes, it is. Because I seen I seen I seen DJ T fall asleep a lot of times on TV. I say, but you you're 70. Well, he might be 79, 80, whatever he is now. Uh you supposed to be at the crib taking a nap somewhere, man.

SPEAKER_04

Just like you were saying about just like you were saying about Joe. Yeah, when you call him C Joe, he's probably, oh, it's four o'clock, he's probably taking a nap or something, right? Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

And he should he should be taking a nap.

SPEAKER_04

Exactly.

SPEAKER_06

And so sh and so should this man.

SPEAKER_04

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_06

That's a young man's channel.

SPEAKER_04

It is.

SPEAKER_03

It is.

SPEAKER_06

You know?

SPEAKER_03

Yep. Yep. I agree. I agree.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, here you go, man. Here's another one. Um in Thailand. Place I want to visit. I want to visit Thailand so

SPEAKER_03

I do too.

SPEAKER_06

I do, man. I mean, ooh. I I follow a lot of I follow a lot of people who who migrated from the United States to Thailand and they just you know chronicle their journey. And I'm so curious. I just want to go out there. I just want to experience it.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I got a co-worker that visits there like almost once a year because her sister lives there. And she said Thailand is amazing. So her her sister many times told her to, you know, ask her to come move there, man. It's just an amazing place, bro.

SPEAKER_06

Man, let me have a relative. I'll be like, what? Come out. I'm there. I I would I would I would at least be there enough to where like uh it'll be yeah, bro. Yeah, I'm I'm I'm open to that. All right, uh A back to uh Thailand becomes the first Southeast Asian country to legalize same-sex men. Wow, yeah, my yeah, yeah. Let's see, bruh. Dog and huh? No, that is, yeah. Oh, go ahead, especially in making it to the east.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yeah, right.

SPEAKER_06

Because they don't the east don't play around, yeah, right, right. Uh uh, February 2nd, 2nd, Beyonce wins three Grammys, including her first ever album of the year, to extend her record to a total of 35 Grammys, my man. And she also makes history as the first black woman to win a Grammy for Best Country Album, Cowboy Carter, which was so controversial, man. Uh you know, the country artists, man, people who grew up country, and that's their their genre. Oh, they reject the notion.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_06

You know, but you know what? Yeah, at the end of the day, Beyonce had the biggest Trump card.

SPEAKER_03

What?

SPEAKER_06

Uh uh my people started that music, so fall back.

SPEAKER_03

I guess there is that fall back.

SPEAKER_06

There is that they can say whatever, yeah. Right, fall back, and then they just go away mumbling like talking under their group, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

A lot of that going on, bro. A lot of that, yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Be gone. All right, um, February 9th. February 9th, the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Kansas Kansas City Chiefs, man. Oh man, I was I became a Kansas City Chief fan, and now see how they just deteriorated. Uh Patrick Mahomes is he's out for the season. So and they out too, right? They're not in the playoffs, yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. They're out of here, man. Um let's see.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, how the mighty has fallen, bro. Anyway, I thought I digress rapidly.

SPEAKER_03

Go on, bro.

SPEAKER_06

Let's see. Um, and the first confirmed time, uh, a colossal squid was captured on film, man.

SPEAKER_05

Really?

SPEAKER_06

Uh this meant ocean. This was March 9th, Ocean Institute made a recording of a um a 30 six centimeter, uh, 30 centimeter juvenile squid at the depth of one 1900 feet below. Wow. Bro, that's technology that they can get. Just the pressure that's just the pressure.

SPEAKER_04

Man, I'm surprised, man. Now was was this a this uh this was a man, uh like a this was a man shit?

SPEAKER_06

It wasn't just a an auto, you know, like I just recording, so it doesn't say if it was a camera or or or a vessel or whatever. They just captured captured on Facebook.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, all right.

SPEAKER_06

Okay. And um, yeah. What's that um uh March 15th, man? United States deport kill Kilmar Garcia, which was uh was a debacle. That was so sad, bro. That he went through all of that.

SPEAKER_04

Um which one is that? Is that the one that they that was the very first person, yeah.

SPEAKER_06

He was a citizen, right? Yeah, he was a citizen, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

And then whatever happened with that? Did he was he able to come back or uh that's a good question, man? Maybe oh that's still uh out there.

SPEAKER_06

You want to feel like you feel like you feel like you feel like you want to look in that up real quick? Can you look at the phone?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Okay, okay. Um say it's wrong for the the deportation sparks legal battle, and he's he is eventually bro. He is eventually brought back to the United States. Okay, there it is, right there. All right, all right, all right.

SPEAKER_03

I mean, I'm sorry you had to go through that, though, but oh no, no, no.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, I know, bro. Just let's see. Oh man, um April 21st. Pope Francis died at the age of 88. You had Ozzy Osborne. Oh my god, Ozzie Osborne and July. We know Ozzie Osbourne passed away. Uh Armani passed away, Robert Rafford, uh, Diane Key, Rob Reiner, which are more people though. Uh let's see who else, man. Yeah, we miss a lot of people past this year. Uh Malcolm Jamal Warner. That was uh Roberta Flag, D'Angelo, Danielle Spencer from uh What's Happening? Uh Slice Slice Stone. D and just D Pass. Yeah, D passes. Oh man.

SPEAKER_04

I probably heard that at the time. I hate when I forget like people pass like that. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Uh Dwayne Wiggins from Tony Tony Tony.

SPEAKER_03

Oh man.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, so yeah, just name a few.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, of course. Absolutely.

SPEAKER_06

Man, yeah, sad. Uh well, uh, the basketball player just was just uh uh Elden Campbell. He was just they he found out just like Jamal, Malcolm Jamal Warren, he drowned for real, you know? Yeah, Ellen Campbell was about 6'11, and they found his body washed up, washed up on the shore, man.

SPEAKER_04

Oh yeah, that's so sad, man.

SPEAKER_06

It's that is man. Just some you know, doing something like fish and whatever, get caught up, man. Stuff like that.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, man, yep.

SPEAKER_06

Uh not trying to not to traffic and fear, but uh, I love the land, bro. I'll tell you that.

SPEAKER_03

Oh man, no doubt, bro.

SPEAKER_04

No doubt. Man, look, let me tell you when we went on that cruise last year, bro. When you finally, because that was my first time on the cruise. When you are out in the middle of the ocean, bro, and you can't see no land, bro. That is a very eerie feeling, dude. When you and then storms pop up, bro, you out on the water and the storm comes, bro. Like, this is some stuff, man.

SPEAKER_06

What about at nighttime when it just pitched black, bro? Like, how would you how was your how would you reset it?

SPEAKER_04

It was crazy now. Now it was some beauty to it because it's so black and when the skies were clear. But bro, we was also out there uh when it's pitch black and look out, and a storm did come and was around us, bro. And it and it actually seems like you are surrounded. Like you, I don't know what it is about being on the water, but you can see the rain looks like clouds. You know, I mean, it literally you can see the rain droplets in the air, man, and it just and you're surrounded by it, bro. And I'm like, this is this is some freaky looking stuff, man.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, it was something.

SPEAKER_06

Only I can think about is the wildlife underneath the water, man. Like somebody just happened to fall in.

SPEAKER_03

Like, what could happen? This is crazy, it's crazy, man. It's crazy, but yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Okay. Uh May 8th, man. Cardinal Robert Francis. Uh Leo, Leo the 14th was the first American Pope.

SPEAKER_04

And how you feel about him, man?

SPEAKER_06

Uh man, I don't, I don't, I don't.

SPEAKER_04

No, what I would say, no, go ahead, go ahead.

SPEAKER_06

No, I it was something that he did do that I was I was cool with. I forget what it was. He called it.

SPEAKER_04

He deified Mary, bro, as far as like having her being co-redemptive with Christ, a co-redeemer. There you go, man. I appreciated that about him, dude. Yeah, that yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, if I see him, I I'm a Daphne.

SPEAKER_04

I'm not me for that. I'd die for that. I like none of the other stuff, man. I you know, I can't really get behind you, but you know, it's a good start, bro. That was a good start, bro.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, man, June 14th. Demonstration against the U.S. President Donald Trump is known as No Kings protests, uh were held across the United States and all and other countries, bro. Uh a second day rally is held on October 18th as well. It said, with almost 7 million attendees.

SPEAKER_04

I mean, the tripped out part about it is bro, that it's it's even a thing that you had to have a protest in America about there not being a king. You are not a king, bro.

SPEAKER_06

He just you know, he just though he just put his name on this uh with the Kennedy Center, and like and so you got all these acts canceling. Oh no, we straight. And so then, of course, the Kennedy family push it back, like bro, no, you're you're not on this level, and you want to do that. Why would your name go on?

SPEAKER_04

Why would your name go on it? Yes, you're not never cancer, bro.

SPEAKER_06

You know, he wants he wants to be, and he sounds like it too. What a trumpet at, man. What a what a trumpet, right? Right. Uh uh June 22nd, Israel air, Iran conflict, U.S. military strikes, Iranian nuclear sites. Remember that? Um, they said it was nobody in there or whatever. Just uh June 22nd, Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Indiana Pacers. The what's funny about that team, we know we talk about nowadays that the younger people, these uh Gen Zs, and they're not drinking, they're not they're not consuming alcohol like the previous generations. Bro, when the Oklahoma City Thunder won the championship, it was so much untouched alcohol, untouched champagne bottles, and and then there was a few of the players wanted to, you know, just wanted the experience, didn't even know how to open the bottle, man. And it was just uh, yeah, there was alcohol and opening bottles was so foreign to many of those players, man. That's that's that's something, man.

SPEAKER_03

It is something, bro.

SPEAKER_06

Wow, they wasted that so much beer and champagne that they did have to send it back, dog.

SPEAKER_03

Um that's pretty cool.

SPEAKER_06

Okay, see, yeah, that's cool.

SPEAKER_04

I mean, I mean, you know, not that I'm trying to launch an anti-drinking campaign, but I mean, that's just cool that a generation is not that heavily reliant on it, is all I'm saying. But you know, as part of the celebration, like it has to be a part of a celebration. So I appreciate that, man.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, I think I did see some cigars, but alcohol, yeah, yeah. Oh man, June 16th. I mean July 16th. Uh, that's that issue with uh with that lady went was got caught at the uh cold play concert with her boss. They were on the on the jumbo tron. Oh what was that about? It was a it was a boss and his his employee. They both were married, they were on the jumbo tron at the Coldplay concert. When they realized, yeah, when they realized they was on the jumbo tron, they tried to ditch and die.

SPEAKER_03

Oh snap.

SPEAKER_06

Chris Martin was like, you know, Chris Martin, the lead singer of the band. It was like either they're having an affair or they're just shy. And yeah, it was they were having an affair. Oh my god. They both end up having um, both end up getting divorced.

SPEAKER_04

Man, bro.

SPEAKER_03

Craziness, man.

SPEAKER_06

Uh in July 23rd, people were protesting American Eagle. They had uh released that controversial ad with Sydney Sweet Sweet Sweeney when she was talking about uh her dinner, she was in her genes, but she was like, it's all about traits and genetics when you got good genes, and so the genes were supposed to be like blonde hair and blue eyes.

SPEAKER_03

Oh interesting, interesting.

Protests, Pop Culture, And Sports

SPEAKER_06

Oh yeah, AI, man. You know, AI was big in this year, went to an whole nother level. Yeah, jet GPT. Uh people are tripping, yep. All this uh let's see. Oh man, August 11th, man. Donald Trump, man, deployed the National Guard to Washington, D.C. As we saw as in um the Chappelle special, he talked about it.

SPEAKER_05

No, he didn't.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, remember because he said he's from DC. Yeah, oh man, he's like, he was like, he's like, uh, I need I need to go to DC and you know and support my people. And he said that's when he started seeing people like he started seeing um Caucasians like, we're not gonna allow this to happen. He was like, oh whoa. No need for me to go now. No, I didn't know.

SPEAKER_04

No, I didn't, man. I definitely didn't know he deployed National Guard. I mean, what's the reason for that?

SPEAKER_06

Uh Chocolate City. You know, he was sending the he was deploying the uh National Guard to the Chocolate Cities, and you know DC is definitely oh so okay, I'm sorry, I misunderstood what you were saying.

SPEAKER_04

I thought you were saying it was in light up because Dave Chappelle was coming there. Okay. Oh no, no, no, no, no. I'm saying he had mentioned Okay, but Dave Chappelle mentioned that in the in the in the show. Yeah, okay, yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

I remember that.

SPEAKER_06

Okay. Yeah, okay. Uh I mean, I you probably don't care about this, but Taylor Swift and Trent Kelsey announced their engagement.

SPEAKER_04

And that's when, and that's when the Kansas City Chiefs took a dive, bro. And they just ain't trying to say they related. I'm just saying, you know, I'm just saying, bro.

SPEAKER_06

Oh man, there's a lot of it's just a lot of protests all over the world, man. Um, Gen Z just was protesting in different countries, man. Thousands through the protest, you know, all these governments, all these bands, and all that. So it's just an uprising. It was an uprising.

SPEAKER_04

Man, you know, Paul everyone give, man, you know what, man? I gotta give some love, man, to Gen Z and Gen Alpha, man. People, people are careful about writing off a generation because scripturally we see people did that, you know, thought that a generation and God he he abraided the generation that was supposed to experience the promised land and everything. And he said, and because of that, I'm gonna take in your children into the promises, man. And they, you know, and they didn't even really know the Lord like that. So, you know, I'm I'm careful not to count out this generation because I like the way that they are raising up against the status quo. You know what I mean? Now, some of the stuff they're doing is crossing the line, but that's that's where the wisdom of the previous generation comes in to help guide that and not judge them for it.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

So yeah, but I'm I'm I'm excited, man, about you know, seeing that. And like you, even when you just mentioned, they don't need to bring the alcohol and spirits into every celebration, you know, for it to be a party and a celebration and and them raising up against the you know government and and political factions, man. I I appreciate that, man.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, even though alcohol consumption is down, but cannabis is up. They love the cannabis.

SPEAKER_04

They love the can of this, that's for sure. But but yeah, but you can you can still talk to some people are still in their right mind when they're doing that. Unlike a person that's getting drunk and uh a drunkard, man, you can't even talk to them, bro. They you know talk to them. So I'm not not that I'm advocating for the cannabis, bruh. I'm just saying I yeah, okay, I recognize things are getting getting better. Let's just put it that way. Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Oh man, time's gone by so fast, man. September 10th, man. Uh conservative activist Charlie Kirk was shot. Man, it just seemed like that was not like about a month ago. I don't know, maybe.

SPEAKER_04

And I think social media houses drawing that out and make it seem like but it is, but days are still flying by quick, bro. And yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_06

This too was also huge, uh, September 23rd. Um, after a brief suspension, late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel returns to the air after six days, man. After he was supposed to have been canceled, man. About saying a comment about Charlie Kirk.

SPEAKER_04

Um I will tell you this, man. People this this this hypersensitivity, though, I don't appreciate that. About this, the new generations, man. Cause it's like you can't, they're so hypersensitive about everything that and everything has got to be so politically correct, and you know, and all of this stuff. Now they are raging against the machine, but then they're also so polarized by the political correctness, man. It's it's a crazy dichotomy, man. But we we have got to lose this hypersensitivity, man.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. But anyway, I digress. Go ahead, man. Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Um October 3rd, musician and arbitrar entrepreneur Sean Combs is sentenced to 50 months in prison.

SPEAKER_04

Now, didn't they say he didn't pay a third for that though?

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, of course he is. Earlier in the year, he'd been convicted on two charges of transportation and engaging in prostitution for drug fuel sex parties known as free costs.

SPEAKER_03

Come on, dude.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, no, right. We well, we know about it. Oh my god, that's dog uh October 10th. A ceasefire goes into effect. Israel in Hamas, man. You know, the the Gaza strip. That was strange, man. Yeah, yeah. I don't think that door is closed, but stepping around.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, it is, but you know, people are gonna say that well, that's prophecy, because you know, when they say peace and sudden destroy, you know, man. Anyway, that's a whole nother conversation. But man, yeah. I will say this, bro. It's like people won't allow, and I'm talking about believers more in Christianity. Um won't allow things to to to say anything good about things getting better because of their theology of escapism, it has to get worse. So for me to ever speak and say something that's getting better to them is antithetical to to their doctrine because it's gotta be getting worse, you know, and anyway, bro. Yeah, uh yeah, come on, man.

SPEAKER_06

Uh October 20th. Donald Trump, man.

SPEAKER_03

What my man do not he do then, bro?

SPEAKER_06

You know, the renovation of the White House. Oh man. He just demolishing stuff, putting his name on here, erecting this, and he just man, he just needs to. I just want him just to you know uh fall back on it, man. Go home, sit down with the grandkids. I don't know if he do we does he do we have any grandkids.

SPEAKER_03

Don't he? Only I don't know, man. Oh uh anyway. Yeah, right, right, right, right. Right, okay, right.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. Uh this was alcohol too, October 23rd, NBA betting and gambling scandal, man.

SPEAKER_03

That was alcohol.

SPEAKER_06

Chauncey, Chauncey Bellas and Terry Rogier. You know, they said participating in legal poker games that was facilitated by the mafia. But like, dude, man, look, all right, we're talking about the mafia. So why is these basketball players? Why they the basketball?

SPEAKER_04

Right, why is it not the mafia?

SPEAKER_06

Stop, yeah. Man, come on, man. Them dudes are pawns, man. Stop it.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Y'all wanna make y'all wanna make y'all don't make them the face of this game.

SPEAKER_04

But you know, when it's all going down and they say, like, look, somebody's got to got to, you know, pay, pay for some, they'll offer, like you said, pawns. They'll give you a couple phases, and like, okay, here, get them to let that die down satisfy your office, you know, in the investigation for a little while, man. People know exactly where to go to to stop this stuff, man. But yeah, like you said, pawns, bro.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah. Uh November 4th, Zoran Modani. You know, he he was, you know, he's known, he's described as a democratic socialist. He won uh the mayor of the race in um New York. Oh, okay. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

I don't know much about him, man.

SPEAKER_06

So I guess he's off the chain, man. In a good way, or he uh I mean he got he gets he got his views, man. They don't think because he's a socialist, they don't think that uh things that he said he's gonna change is gonna work out. But uh people are open to it, the fact that he won.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I guess that's true.

SPEAKER_06

Okay, man. Uh November November 12th. The last penny is minted in the United States. Is that right? First, yeah, man. The first penny was produced in 1793. Ain't gonna be no more pennies. No, man. Uh right now they says there's uh there are some 250 billion pennies currently in circulation.

SPEAKER_04

So are they just are they in the process of as we spend them, they gonna be destroying them?

SPEAKER_06

I that's a good question. I don't know about that, but I know they they made the last one. They were gonna they're trying to phase him out.

SPEAKER_04

Oh Abe, I wonder why. Are we gonna get another coin or well? Abe is on the five, too, I guess, right?

SPEAKER_06

So yeah, on the five, two. Man, you know, um he only penny in the five dollars, man. He like he only he only worth five dollars and a cent, man. Like five on one.

SPEAKER_00

Hook my man up.

SPEAKER_03

Look, bruh.

SPEAKER_00

All right, uh go ahead, go ahead, go ahead.

SPEAKER_06

Uh uh November 12th, November 12th was the longest government shutdown in the U.S. history. It's after 43 days, man.

SPEAKER_04

What number is he? What number is he as the president right now? Is he number 42?

SPEAKER_06

He's 47.

SPEAKER_04

47.

SPEAKER_06

Okay, okay.

Ceasefires, Scandals, And Policy Moves

SPEAKER_04

I was just saying, man, that this dude with all this weight for his for his uh of him going you know to the to make it 47 days. That's just the kind of you know, of government shutdown because he's number 47. Yeah, oh yeah, man. You can leave it, you can leave it. That's I'm sorry, man.

SPEAKER_03

Uh yeah, you can yeah, I should have kept it.

SPEAKER_06

No, don't worry about it because you you might you got a chance to say something else on this one. November 20th, man. Trump signs an alleged legislation ordering the release of the quote unquote so-called Epstein files. What a Dumba, man. All this redacted, all this redacted crap, and then you see his name come up with Epstein and make Lake Mix Michigan. No, I have not. No, I have not. Okay. Uh when you when you get off here, Google Trump, Epstein, and Lake Michigan. Okay. That's crazy. Yeah, man. I I say I I'm not gonna speak on it because I don't know too much about it. I I've always avoided it, but then this morning, it just kept coming across my face. So let me read up on it, like, oh, this is interesting. So we'll we'll say that for another episode. Okay, okay. Let's see. Man, coming to the end here. I think that's about it. Yes, that's uh that's all I've been.

SPEAKER_04

It's been a year, man. It's it's been a yeah, bro. I'm telling you, man.

SPEAKER_06

Never dumb moment.

SPEAKER_04

That's real. That's real. And uh thank you, man. If anything, bro, I just you know, this is the we're coming up on the end of the year, going into the new year, and you know, of course, in in Christendom and and stuff like that, man. People getting ready to start giving prophetic words for the for the year and all of this stuff, man. And I'm just so over that. Just just make good choices, bro. You know, and especially in in the in the black community, bro. They every year it's a new, it's a new prophetic word, and they always rhyme, bro. You know, it's always always, you know, keep hope alive in 2025. You're gonna be in the mix, you're gonna be in the mix in 2022. Oh, it's some rhyming prophetic word, bro. And the only word I would say, man, is people make good choices, man. Just make good choices, bro. That is the thing that the father gave us. He said, choose, you know, make a choice. It's blessing, it's cursing, it's life, it's death, it's good, it's evil, man. Make a choice. And in case you have a problem with your choice, choose life, man. That you and your seed, you and your family, you and your legacy, you and your family, man, can can live, man, and experience lives.

SPEAKER_06

Oh we know um a lot of uh in a lot of these churches, uh the corporate corporate fast is coming up. I mean the three uh the three-week boy.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, no, you wanna you want to do it, get it in and have it be over with before the super, you know, right?

SPEAKER_04

So you can gorge for the Super Bowl, right?

SPEAKER_06

But uh, I'm I'm starting to fast tonight. Um brother and uh my boy Edman Young, Boo Jay. He he started fast, and I was like, man, because I've been wanting to do it. I was like, man, let's just do it, man. Let's let's do it together. You know, that'll help us out, you know, hold each other accountable.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, and um is it just for our plans?

SPEAKER_06

Like just I I I I you I do it for all of I, you know, I I whatever the I I use the benefits of it for other stuff, but you know, um, I'm definitely gonna uh be at the throne, you know, during the time, especially what's going on in this house, so so I'm definitely gonna be in the throne. Okay, but um I do what I started, but it's the holiday season, so I I start to start to crave sweets, man. I I've been fighting, I've I've pretty much at the refrigerator. Well it's gone now, but from Christmas, it was a big old container of banana pudding.

SPEAKER_04

Why you ain't highlighted? This is a big box for me, bro.

SPEAKER_06

And this particular this particular batch had not only the vanilla wafers, but it had short.

SPEAKER_04

See, that's new. I ain't never heard that one, bro.

SPEAKER_06

Do it. Yeah, I see. Cause some a lot of because some people don't like because some people don't like the short uh the what the vanilla wafers like I'm like how do you my wife don't like shit. I don't like vanilla wafers. So I'm like, you try it.

SPEAKER_03

How are we gonna pay for?

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, I cannot imagine banana people. Uh no way you gotta have that.

SPEAKER_04

What wound up happening to it, man?

SPEAKER_06

Oh, it's going uh Taris, Taris, and I think Taurus and Mark.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, did go okay. So it didn't go the way. It didn't go the way.

SPEAKER_06

Oh no, it didn't go to waste.

SPEAKER_04

No, no. I can I can forgive you for not inviting me in on it, then as long as it didn't go to waste.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, you know, but yeah, we're gonna do this, man, for three days. They be I'll be over it. I just wanna um yeah, I've been wanting to do that.

SPEAKER_03

That's cool, man. That's a good thing, dude.

SPEAKER_06

Because last time I did last time I did it was very beneficial. So I just wanted to uh uh yeah, go back to see what's going on, man.

SPEAKER_04

I you know, I I need to I need to put me a fast and too, man. You know, especially with some things I've been going through how far it's in my body, man. Uh get it get a body a chance to reboot. Yeah, so that's that makes sense, bro.

SPEAKER_06

And and and also this last week, uh, I wanted to like I told him, I'm like, man, we gotta do this before I go to work because I don't want to be fast and at work, bro. I don't want to be at the job, yeah. So I'm off. I could just go in. Yeah, if I gotta if I gotta lay down, if I gotta lay down, dude.

SPEAKER_04

Hey bro, whatever you gotta do to get through it, man. Get through it.

SPEAKER_06

So people ain't gonna see my face all messed up. Like, man, what's wrong with you?

SPEAKER_00

I'm straight out.

SPEAKER_04

You want a little bit of this? I know you're vegan, so I got this for you.

SPEAKER_06

Bruh, man, like like like I talked about earlier, man. People give me a hard time about it, man, my lifestyle. So I'm gonna talk about the Christmas party. Um, so we had a Christmas, we had a Christmas party, and um I go over there. We all we had the break room and stuff like that. They we had uh we had uh taco salads. And um so uh she got me what I got me my the person who ranged it got me my vegetarian beans. I said, you know, like what kind of what you what you do for without meat. I said, just give me some beans, make sure they're vegetarian. It's all good. I said, I eat the whole thing, I eat everything else y'all eat except for cheese. I could bring my vegan cheese and I could bring my vegan sour cream. I said, but it's the same thing, right? It's just made out of something different, you know. I could switch, I could switch my sour cream with theirs, and they wouldn't even taste it. I already know it. So they had this rice, and I'm like, do you know if they, you know, you know, this question I only I would ask, especially that saying, like, do you know if that's cooked with chicken broth? She was like, I ain't asking what they cook that in chicken broth.

SPEAKER_03

I was like, right, right.

SPEAKER_06

You know what? You ain't got to work. And then then another coworker followed like you'll be all right. She goes, I was like, oh, you ain't got to worry either. Like, man, man, I grabbed my I grabbed my stuff and went to my I went to my I didn't eat with everybody else. I went, I ate alone, man. I was in my feelings. I ain't gonna say I was in my feelings, but I after those two comments, I was like, I'm shit with y'all right here. And and that was Wednesday, right? So Friday, uh Skill Trades had their party, and and my line is right next to Skill Trades, and um, bro, they cooking up the bacon.

SPEAKER_03

Oh my goodness, wow, I'm over there suffocating, man. I'm like choking out, bro.

SPEAKER_06

I can't breathe, I can't breathe. And I'm telling the co-worker, man, like, man, I'm having a hard time. One co-worker just cracked, she cracking up laughing. She just man, he thought he thought I was Dave Shapil the way she was laughing at me. Ah, and I'm like, I'm over there just like laboring, bro, and she laughing. And other co-worker was like, uh Sean, you're gonna have to get over that.

SPEAKER_03

Just get over it, bro.

SPEAKER_06

Um dude, I almost cussed at that man.

SPEAKER_00

I said, What you mean, get over it, bro? I was like, How you gonna sit there and tell me to get over something that I that my body is rejecting?

SPEAKER_06

And uh, I was like, have you been around somebody who used to smoke and they stopped smoking? And then when they get around the smoker, they they gag. Exactly. I said, That's like the same thing. Oh, then you know I had to I had to say it like that.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, I yeah, yeah.

Fasting, Food Choices, And Community

SPEAKER_06

Like fool. I mean, sorry, I'm just saying. Uh what was that? What's that word we say now? Uh we trying to redeem food.

SPEAKER_03

Oh yeah. Right.

SPEAKER_00

Hey, heavy on the prefix of that word.

SPEAKER_03

Right.

SPEAKER_04

We all still on the journey. We all on the journey here. You know?

SPEAKER_06

Oh yeah, oh yeah, come on.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, we on the journey. This is a good one too. That's a good one too, man.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

But yeah, I just how but how dare how insensitive a person can be for s for them to say that to me, man. That wasn't cool, man.

SPEAKER_00

Special, like, I didn't ask them that right.

SPEAKER_04

And just get over it.

SPEAKER_00

Come on, man. And get over it, like, man, what is wrong with you?

SPEAKER_03

People don't think, bro. They don't think.

SPEAKER_04

Oh man. Well, it's been it's been a year, man. I'm definitely looking forward to the next. You know, I was as the same. Expectations still just as good for this year as it was for this one. And we just it takes us through, you know, it takes us through. So yeah.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, um, any prophetic words?

SPEAKER_03

Why would you do that? Why would you do that?

SPEAKER_04

Look, look, Paul said this 2,000 years ago. He said, look, privacy is gonna fail. And knowledge, you needing to know something new that you don't already know, that's gonna stop too. He was like, this put away the childish stuff, man. Make some good choices, bro. I'm done with that, man. I'm I'm almost, I feel I this is a good one. This is a good one. Probably good for us to end off on, bro. I just the same way that you felt about smelling bacon and everything. That's how I feel about hearing prophetic words now, bro. It just it gags me, man. I don't want it. Why, bro? Why do you need to hear another prophetic word? For what? For what reason? I mean, most people already know what they're doing or not doing. All prophetic words do is give people delusions of grandeur, man. Like God's gonna do something for you specifically just because it's this year. You know, I mean, stop, man. Just stop it, bro.

SPEAKER_06

Another thing, too, before we got here, man. Uh the revivals, man. You know, we we talk about the church to be having all these revivals, and it's like somebody pointed out, I can't remember, it was a video. It's like, it might have been the deep end, I don't know, but it's like, why the church is having revival? We had one revival, and that's all we needed.

SPEAKER_04

The cross. I'm about that.

SPEAKER_05

There you go.

SPEAKER_04

This thing that's why we try to do it with buildings and everything. That was your revival right there. Why why do you gotta keep having a new one? And if you don't know why, why? Because you only have to revive something that's that's died, that's been dead, bro. Why do you gotta keep having because it keeps dying? Why? Because it ain't no life in it, man. There's no life in it, bro. It's it's the kingdom is the only thing that's eternal and unshakable, bro. And until we, you know, employ that knowledge to everything we do in life, bro, you're gonna have to keep reviving this stuff because it's dying. It keeps dying.

SPEAKER_06

All right. Well, all you brothers and sisters that partake in the revivals just know. Jesus did it all.

SPEAKER_03

All of it, bro.

SPEAKER_06

And he did it one time. Moment, one day it's over with no more revivals. Once and for all, bro, and there's nothing that we can do that is gonna override what he did. He did it, he's the king. Like our little revivals ain't doing nothing. Ain't doing nothing. Uh water off the ducks, water off the ducks.

SPEAKER_04

Revivals are comedy shows in heaven, bro. That's all they are.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, they are, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Anyway.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, look at the waste of your time. All right, man.

SPEAKER_05

All right.

SPEAKER_04

Now you don't have to put it in, but I did that. I did that.

SPEAKER_06

I might have to comp it. I might comp it.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Oh man, yes, sir. All right. We love you.

SPEAKER_04

Love you howadays and enjoy your new year.

Ocean Awe And Mortality Reflections

SPEAKER_06

I got a prophetic word. I got a profited word. Don't stop that. All right.
