What If Vindication Starts With Forgiveness?
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Packing up a house sounds practical until you feel it in your chest. As we pull pictures off walls and watch rooms empty out, we talk about the “transfer” that happens when you leave a place full of history. A home can carry memory, peace, and presence, and moving can stir excitement and grief at the same time. We also share what it’s like to step into a new space that feels like a blank canvas, already marked by prayer, intention, and a tangible sense of calm.
From there, we get into “vibes” and why the word doesn’t have to scare people of faith. We connect vibration, grounding, meditation, and awareness to how God designed us to live embodied and present. Then we switch gears into caffeine culture with a real example of how much caffeine can be hiding in popular coffee drinks and why “go, go, go” living keeps people overstimulated. It’s not just about quitting coffee, it’s about noticing what you’re consuming, reading labels, and creating healthier rhythms that honor your body.
The last stretch goes deep on vindication versus revenge. We unpack why we crave justice, how forgiveness checks our motives, and what it looks like to submit to a process when someone lies on your name. We also challenge shame-based, unworthiness-heavy theology that turns the gospel into bad news, and we argue for a view of redemption that actually produces peace, maturity, and compassion. If you’ve been wrestling with resentment, burnout, or religious noise, this conversation brings language and clarity.

Packing, Purging, And Letting Go
SPEAKER_01What up, man?
SPEAKER_05Yeah, man.
SPEAKER_01Good, dude, good.
SPEAKER_05How about just how about yourself?
SPEAKER_01Man, dude, just getting ready to make this move, man. Been packing up, bro. You know, we we're moving to the end. Uh they just talked to our builder the other day, and uh he said, yeah, we we towards the end now, probably like two weeks, man. So we packing up, bruh. And you man, the stuff you accumulate over the years, bro. Packing and purging, packing and purging, man. And the crazy part about it is, dude, you'd be surprised the kind of stuff you hold on to, and then and then you're looking at it, and you be like, oh man, I was looking. You're like, dude, you haven't seen this in five years, bro. You move it over there, it's gonna sit another five. So stop, throw this out, man. So how the current, how the how the current house looking? Man, dude, it is amazing how when you start taking stuff away, man, and it just, you know, you could you can literally feel the transference, man, like pulling your part of yourself leaving, and you can already feel it. Cause you packing up stuff in the pictures off the wall, things, all the decor and everything, man. And it just, you just feel it, man. You can literally feel the transfer. Like, wow, we leaving. And then you start feeling the sadness, man. You know, like, man, it was a lot of years here, man. A lot of memories. Yeah, bro. All of it, all of emotions, man. It's real. It man, it's so it's so amazing how the father has created us, though, man. You it's like, it's like the the life force, man, is is like your your energy and stuff is it dwells in these things, man. You know what I mean? It's it's there. It's actually in these in these objects. And as you pack them away and pull them away, and they're not on the on the wall or part of your you know, your living experience. No, you can actually feel the difference, man.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I'm like, wow. Just another, just give you another reason of praising, man. Like, just like, wow, look at how you you made us, because I can tangibly feel a difference, man. That's crazy.
SPEAKER_05It's crazy. Yeah. Um I remember having a conversation with somebody about um their dream house and stuff like that. And uh uh it was a situation where I was uh starting a relationship and so we're trying to decide to move together or whatever, move together or just get, you know, um or find different homes. Yeah. So uh what she suggested uh she was living in a home that she called her dream home. But I mean, I'm like, well, we're gonna do this. I'm not moving in that house that you and this other in your or in your dream, right?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. Right, right, right.
SPEAKER_05You know, but this is my dream house. You should you should understand, like, but it's it's a home, right?
SPEAKER_01Absolutely.
SPEAKER_05It's it's it's the people that feel the home with me.
SPEAKER_01Absolutely, you know, absolutely house is not a home. Come on, man, come on, Louis. Prophesy to it. Come on, dude. That on, bruh. Man, but that was that's real talk, though.
SPEAKER_05And that's when I was when I was having that conversation with her, I thought about that, you know. I was still at home, but absolutely, but I can I I I definitely understand what you're saying. You could just feel the spirit and uh all of it just leave and uh going to the next chapter, homeboy.
SPEAKER_01And the funny part about it is, man, as we say that, me and wifey, as we when you because we go now almost every day now over there to
Feeling The Spirit Of A Home
SPEAKER_01the new spot. And uh dude, as we sit in there, and we're just sitting on regular little fold-out chairs, you know, that we got there. So we're just chilling, and dude, you can already feel the the peace and everything there. It's like it's literally a blank canvas, uh, you know, because everything is new. So it's like as we come in and we're being there, and you know, man, we already had, you know, long before prayed and walked through it. We got scriptures written in, you know, on different parts of you know, behind the walls on the framing and all that, dude. You can literally feel the tangible uh peace of God in there, bro. And and you and plus what we're obviously what we're bringing into it, but it's just man, we is like you can literally feel this stuff, man. And I'm like, wow, this is like so, so it's amazing, man. It's amazing, dude. It's a vibe, it's literally a vibe. You know, I call, I said, I literally called, I said, this is the vibey house right here. But but here's the thing, man. We use the word vibe every day, but it's taken from the word vibration. Yep, there it is. You know, it's it's a vibration, you know, and and Christians and stuff are scared of that word, man, because they equate it with new age and stuff. But bro, this is this is how this is how we're made. This is how we we operate, man.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, like a couple of uh episodes ago talked about grounding, you know.
SPEAKER_01Absolutely, yep, absolutely. This is these are real things. This is real.
SPEAKER_05There's definitely a transfer vibration there when you do that.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, most of that. Absolutely, absolutely.
Caffeine Shock And Go Culture
SPEAKER_05Hey man, um, you know, you and I talk about coffee a lot, you know. So I had I hadn't had coffee in a while. Uh since I had that that uh stomach bug. I was trying to stay away from the caffeine. So uh I needed some energy yesterday, decided to go to Dunkin' Donuts, and they had this they had this drink called the uh espresso shake.
SPEAKER_01Have you ever shake? Yeah, it's espresso. No, no.
SPEAKER_05Like, oh, okay. And then they had uh brown sugar and peanut butter.
SPEAKER_04Like, oh okay, that's great.
SPEAKER_05So it's like some good flavors. Like, let me try that peanut butter. Yeah, and um took a sip, and I mean, like I said, I I've fasted from caffeine for a bit, so that that caffeine rush hit me, bam!
SPEAKER_01Wow, whoa!
SPEAKER_05Yeah, and I noticed every time I go to Dunkin' Donuts, uh, I usually get iced coffee, medium iced coffee, light ice, light uh almond milk. And I always noticed like it's a lot of caffeine, whatever's in it. So I know typically if you make a cup of coffee at home, that's usually 75 milligrams of caffeine, right? Yeah. Man, I looked that up, man. Iced coffee from Dunkin' Donuts, or even what I had, the uh the the espresso shake, man. We're talking 297 grams, milligrams. Wow, bro. Wow, that overexceeds the daily amount of personality. Wow, half. Yeah. That I that 200 almost 300 milligrams, what of caffeine? Wow, and you know, see, it's susceptible in this culture, in this country, because everything's on the go. Everything gotta go, go, go, go, go.
SPEAKER_01Absolutely.
SPEAKER_05How many different variants of different uh items and and products that we have energy drinks, bro? Absolutely, just that that business that business also has to be booming as well.
SPEAKER_01Oh man, dude. You know, you know it is.
SPEAKER_05I sleep when I die, you know.
SPEAKER_01Oh my god, man.
SPEAKER_05That's that is so ungodly to say something like that, man. Um but yeah, here we are, man. We just over saturated and over-consumed consumption of caffeine is ridiculous, bro. It is, man. And I need to pull back, man.
SPEAKER_01You know, it it's funny, man, you mentioned this because um, you know, man, uh, you know, my boy L Bug, Lindsay
Holy Ground Coffee And Sacred Ritual
SPEAKER_01Levesque. What up, dude? What up? Dude, we so me and him right now, man, we're entering an adventure, man, where you know, he it was some things, man, we were just talking about before. And um, you know, just in just conversations, like, man, well, it would be dope, man, to have, you know, something that we do that people do on a daily basis, man, you know, and you know, get the kingdom of, you know, of God and literally involved in that, man. And so um, you know, man, one day we were just kicking and he said something about like, man, you know, dude, we gotta do some coffee, man. Holy ground coffee, dude. And you know, you know, and we it was like kind of uh in passing, but it's it's a it kept coming back up, man. And he actually found a place, man, because he he from Canada. So he found a place, man, that actually will um, you know, brew uh the coffee for you, do all of this, and they'll drop ship it and everything, man. And we literally are in the in the you know process of bringing this out, man, this holy ground, coffee, uh, to, you know, to to bring it out and make it available. Because it's not about the coffee. It's it's the it's the ritual that you know people do. Already, you're already doing it, you know, in the morning. People are getting it. But like you said, it's to give you that boost, to give you that, you know, this, and you know, but really, man, what it what you need is you actually need that moment, that space. You know, we actually calling and giving people a space of grace to sit, meditate, do what you're already doing, drinking the coffee. Yeah, but it's not about the coffee, it's about the moment, it's about this this holy ground, this place that you're creating uh for you to meditate, man, with the father. Like we're already talking about meditation and vibration and grounding and all this stuff, man. And uh I didn't even ever make the connection with coffee call is called grounds, coffee grounds, but you know, you know, but it just all just ties in to bring it's it's not about changing your life, making these drastic changes to try and fit into the kingdom of God. And I gotta quit doing this, I gotta quit listening to this music, I gotta quit drinking this, I gotta quit eating this, and I gotta quit, quit, quit. It's about bringing the kingdom of God into what you're already doing. It's in the leaven of the kingdom. That's why Jesus caught it that, man, and it begins to take over. And and guess what, man? You start changing certain things, bro. If you
Labels, Ingredients, And Body Wisdom
SPEAKER_01like you, for instance, man, you vegan, you know, and and you you you go hard on the dietary stuff, man, but you go hard with it and your commitment and to it and and seeing all of the things that are, you know, it's like you just said, it ain't necessarily the caffeine, it's like how much you're putting in there. I mean, look at what you're doing, bro. You're abusing people through what you're doing, you know, and you're introducing this to people just in a and people are not gonna really do the research like you, but you come and bring it and you're giving people like, look, I I get what you I'm vegan. I'm not necessarily saying you're supposed to be vegan, I'm just saying pay attention to what you're eating, you know, read the labels, read the ingredients. This is not right. If you're having french fries, you should just be having potatoes and salt or something like that. You know, it shouldn't be 15 ingredients. And it wasn't until you brought that understanding and awareness to me that I started becoming more aware and conscious of let me see what's in this peanut butter, man. Why is it 20 ingredients in here? Right. You know what I'm saying? And then when you start telling me, man, they would even extract the actual nutrients that are actually in it naturally, and they were replacing it with synthetic stuff. That's this is diabolical, man, to be doing this to people, man. Because most people ain't gonna do it. Most people are not going to do that, they're not gonna read the letter, or they look on the back, I can't pronounce this stuff anyway. Wait a minute, hold on pause, wait. Why are we eating stuff that we don't even can't even pronounce? I have no clue of what this is. You know what I mean? And so, and it's man, dude. But so, like we talking about it's about bring because once you bring a kingdom in to your what you're already doing, he actually brings an awareness to the righteousness of what it is, the peace of what it is, the joy of what it is to be. And then you start, okay, well, I this ain't righteous for this to exist like this. It's not that drinking coffee is unrighteous, it's drinking coffee like this is what's not right. Why? Because it's hurting my body, man. It's it's it's it's literally destroying the temple.
SPEAKER_05So I like I said, I'm a coffee drinker, so I drink I drink decaf, I drink half and half. Sure. And um, so you know, our boy uh E West, he where he's the manager of a kitchen at uh a senior home. Oh he used to be. And and he said, Oh yeah, man, we we see uh we serve the seniors decaf coffee. He said they don't even know.
SPEAKER_01See, right, right.
Placebo, The Mind, And Habit Loops
SPEAKER_01It's most of what we do is mental. Most of what we do is mental, bro. Somebody can let that's why they do so. This is why doctors, when they when they're creating medicines, man, when they do clinical trials to see what medicines are working that actually have an actual physical effect, that's why they run the trials. Give half of these people the placebo and give half of the people the real thing. Because we need to know is this mental ascension that's that's actually taking place here and people feeling better because they're thinking that this is doing something, or does this thing actually have physical, you know, repair qualities? It actually can do things for the physical body. Why? Because they know we gotta be able to take the separate the mind from the body because if these people think it works, it can actually work. You know, a placebo is real, man. People doctors understand the power of the mind. They they they literally do, and they have to be able to determine is this really helping the body, or is it just their mental ascension to the fact they think it's helping and and is and it's doing something for them. So, man, that's absolutely your boy Edo, like man, dude, we switch it on game decaf. They don't even know why, because it's about what they it's about what they're doing. I'm drinking coffee, and to them, they they could care less if it's decaf or or caffeinated, man. It's the ritual, yeah. It's is what it is, and most people we live this way, man. We we may not do it with intentionality like we should, but we all live this way. You you we can you can call it religion, you can call it ritual, you can call it tradition or whatever. It's just the way that it's just the way that we're wired, man. We we just live like that. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05All
Vindication Versus Revenge
SPEAKER_05right, man. I want to switch gears. Uh, I wanted uh go back to something. We talked about a couple of episodes ago. Uh we were talking about how we get in certain situations, how do we respond? Uh and I talked about uh a guy trying to sleep with my daughter.
SPEAKER_01And oh yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_05Um in a few of the situations where my girlfriend broke over me and then moved the guy in.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, right.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. So the other side of that is vindication, you know. Uh people want me vindicated, actually like that, you know. Sure. And um, but you when you want that, your heart has to be in the right place too.
SPEAKER_01You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_05I mean, I don't want my, I want my I want revenge, Father.
SPEAKER_01Right. There it is, right there. Bring it down, right? Yeah, yeah. And and that you and that's a beautiful distinction how you put that, because most of us, it's in our nature to want justice and vindication. That's because we're made in God's image and likeness. He is a god of justice, he does also want to vindicate, but we want revenge. See, we don't really want vindication, we want revenge, and there is absolutely a fundamental difference between them.
SPEAKER_05Because look, it's funny, it's funny because last night I'm trying to figure out a movie I want to watch, right? So I'm going through there and I'm looking through there, and then so I see this one thing about this guy. Uh he's gonna get revenge for his his friend getting killed. And so I'm like, oh man, that's kind of interesting, right? So I'm looking and looking at these other ones, I'm looking at the other synopsis of the other movies. I'm like, man, but I kind of want to see dude gets revenge and put his foot up to people's behind. Like, why why why is is that innate for somebody want to just see that instead of other stuff? Or was it just me? I just want to see. I just want to see I don't know. I just like to see people like those movies the wrong one too. Like, yeah, I uh you need to mess you to mess with the wrong one. With the wrong one.
SPEAKER_00What I do have are a very particular set of skills. Skills I've acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you.
SPEAKER_01You you you about to find out. So here's the thing, dude. Here's the thing. The the innate part is the fact that we do all want justice. We all like to see justice prevail. But the the part that we have to watch, but and particularly probably it more resonates with you because you have a you don't like bullies. That's the way that you you, you know, the way you say it. You know, you don't like to see, you just don't like to see injustice, man. You know, you don't like to see injustice. So, but when you deal with the flesh part, when it comes down to the flesh part, it's like I want to see the person get theirs.
SPEAKER_04You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_01I want to see them really get it, bruh. You know what I mean? That's what you get, you know. We we that's just how you know that's how we roll. That's why this stuff has to be not changed, just sanctified, redeemed, reconciled. I feel this way, Lord. Why because when you start why when you watch movies, man, for the most part, if you don't, if you watch certain most movies, most of the time we're rooting for the criminals. We're usually rooting for the person to get away with. And the and the thing that we it is not the fact that we we exalt the crime, but we we so identify with with the uh the system. The man the man right the man, the system keeping folk down, and it's it's it's it's it's arranged is against us, you know. And so when you see somebody get over on the system, when you see that bank robber get away with it, and or you see that person get away with that crime or they that they stole that car and they was able to evade the the law, and it's it's almost like you're getting a small piece of like, I'm glad that you know the system didn't, this person got over on the system, you know what I mean? And it's it's like we go to casinos, bro. You know the house always wins. Yeah, this is why they can keep building more casinos, bro. Yeah, but we love to see one person hit, you know what I mean? We we keep playing the lottery because we somebody's gonna win out of all these men, the odds are literally, you know, two million to one or whatever that somebody, but when we see that one, it gives you that that glimmer of hope that it can be done. Somebody is, you know, somebody won, you know, and and and and so we keep playing. And and that the that's that's how the system is designed. That is how the kingdom of darkness has taken advantage of those righteous parts of us and perverted it, man. And um, and and and it's just and it's a way to control it, it's a way to control us by at large. And here's the thing: people don't understand and relate to the kingdom of God, because the kingdom of God, everybody wins, bro. Yeah, you know, they're there everyone gets vindicated. You know, it's it's not just one person, you know, out of out of many, everyone gets vindicated.
SPEAKER_05Absolutely. I I reason I brought that up, I was listening to the podcast Deep In with Taylor Welsh, and he had uh guest on there, Alex Seeley woman. Okay. Yeah, she's pretty good. The title of it was uh walking with Holy Spirit, costly obedience, dependence, and experiencing uh God. So it made me think about some situations that I went through. And and she's she talks about before you know uh the vindication starts, the vindication process starts. You have to it starts with you and forgiveness. You know, you he had the forgiveness had to sit in. You know, like that's how you don't want to, you know, you want to exact revenge. So you put the um forgiveness in your heart that starts it. And you know, and she talked about how David, you know, because David was always talking about vindicate me, oh Lord, absolutely according to your righteousness, you know, let them not rejoice over me. But he also would say, Search me, oh God, absolutely my anxiety. So you know, claim my heart, you know.
SPEAKER_01Absolutely, no, for sure.
SPEAKER_05And then, you know, and then we know David saw threw a javelin at that brother, man.
Submitting To Process And Staying Blameless
SPEAKER_01Try to literally on repeated times try to kill this dude, man.
SPEAKER_05Absolutely, absolutely, and so yeah, he had to get his heart searched over and um and I remember trying to get custody of my daughter, and um my daughter's mom went into court and just told the court that I was on crack. They calling me, man. Oh man. So I need to be I needed to be vindicated, man. Right, sure. I'm like, no, I hey what? You know, another thing also that lady uh says uh talked about Alex Seeley, that if somebody accused you of it, you gotta make sure that it's not true.
SPEAKER_01Absolutely.
SPEAKER_05And if it is, repent of that first. Absolutely, and then move forward. And so, yeah, so what she accused me of no, I was that was that was false. Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Absolutely, right.
SPEAKER_05So I just I sat back and you know the court told me what I needed to do, which it was unnecessary. I felt in my heart, but I had to vindicate myself, so I had to go through these steps and through the yeah, absolutely the court, take drug tests, all this other stuff.
SPEAKER_01Submit to the process, yeah.
SPEAKER_05And I just sit back, but also I'm like, this woman, she man, she lied on me. I kind of man, what is she gonna get? Right. So what they say, karma is best served, cold. It's a nice one. Absolutely, but I just sit back and one of my processes not even not even focus on her anymore, just focus on the situation, focus on the person that God is and how faithful he is, and that's what I did, and got through the process, and then on her end, because she never repented of what she did, her behavior put her in a situation where she was living in the street, living in um storage units and stuff like that. And you know, at that time, if you would have told me maybe years prior, I'd be like, yeah, but then at that time I had compassion. I felt sorry for you.
SPEAKER_01Sure.
SPEAKER_05Like, man, that that's kind of messed up, you know. Um, even though you did this to me and try to sully my name, I don't, I don't want, I don't want that for you.
SPEAKER_01Um that's the maturity, man. That that's that's the you know, allowing the the uh father to to as you know, we we got new hearts, but like but looking at from the principle of David, like you just said, you know, cleanse my heart, you know. I know vindication, I'm not wrong for desiring that. So it's nothing wrong with praying for vindication, but the Lord says, vengeance is mine, I'll repay. Why? Because the Lord knows how to make this right for everybody. He He also, you know, He He's He's wanting to vindicate the accuser and the accused. So when you back up and let the Lord do it, He's working all things together for good. So um we have to learn to do that, man. And and it takes it and it takes a maturing process, man. I, you know, as you were telling that story, I remember, man, when uh me and uh and a sister in the Lord, man, she was an older sister uh lady, man, almost like one of what we would consider like a church mother or something like that. And we worked, man, in the same place. And we had basically the same position in the company. I she had been there longer than me, man. And and uh, you know, I so I was learning from her for the most part, but you know, man, she was older. I'm youthful, man, and you know, and the way I approached my job, I I, you know, ex excelled a little bit beyond what she was doing. So I was fastly beginning to get the the number one role, you know, when people for that position, when people came to discuss it, they would come to me, not her. Well, she trained me, you know what I mean? So I'm sure some somewhere along the way, something she felt a way about it, I guess. And uh she she literally told my bosses, man, accused me of doing something that I absolutely did not do. And my boss brought us both in there, and uh she said this directly while I'm sitting there, and I'm looking at her like, wow, she is just telling a straight up lie. And you know, and I'm sitting right here. You know, usually people would do that behind your back. And what you know, you know, it's like you said, I'm in court and they tell you, oh, he smokes cracking, you know, you just that's just a straight up lie. Like, what the heck? So she stood there, dude, saying all this stuff. And then my boss literally, man, he said, I can't see John doing that. You know, just knowing him, I can't see that. She's like, Well, he did and this and that. And I'm like, wow. And so my boss was like, okay, well, given the case, going forward, what is what are we gonna do? So, you know, and I apologize to her. I said, I I'm not sure how you got to think that I did that, but if that's something you felt happened, I apologize. And um, you know, I I would just, you know, please let me know in the future if if you're saying that you saw or heard something that I've done, please talk to me. I, you know, because I have no, you know, no malice or intention to do anything to to hurt you or or damage your position with this company. Bro, I'm saying this to her uh knowing she lied on me. So man, we go. So he's like, y'all just go out and um, you know, let's let's go from here. So, dude, literally, I'm I had to, you know, calm, you know, you get the hot ears, bro. Me and her working the same space, you know. I'm feeling like Lord, this woman just lied on me. And she's a sister in the Lord, bro. And my elder.
SPEAKER_03But she's an old lady. I mean, look at her, she's old. You can't just take her stuff.
SPEAKER_01She's too old. I was like, I'm just I'm just putting this in your hands, man. I I'm not gonna even sweat it, bro. Do you know within a week? She had been there for years, dude. You know, within a week, she was gone. Not I mean, she she left the job. She quit. After years, bro, she quits the job. And I'm like, not saying that the the Lord made her quit.
SPEAKER_05Right, right.
SPEAKER_01But what she did, whatever she was holding on to, or whatever thing was happening within her concerning me, she couldn't get over it, bro. And she she she let it, I mean, it literally took her out of there. And but this is what this is what happens when you don't stay in alignment, man, with you know, with the way that God has to, especially if you call yourself called being his child, being called by his name, bro. You gotta, as you did, submit to the process, just like just like there's a natural process, a court system, and going through this system, the kingdom of God got a process too. You gotta submit too. You can't be offended, you gotta forgive, you gotta obtain mercy. Can't be blameless, you gotta be blameless, absolutely, man. You and she wasn't, she no, absolutely not. And and she wouldn't, whatever it was, I can't even tell you what it was, but whatever it was, it took her out of there. It it literally took her up out of there. She was gonna retire from that place, man. She was already older, she was literally like probably a year or two from retirement, and she left, bro. And I know it was offense because she probably expected my bosses then, man, to, you know, to come down on me for me to get demoted or whatever, because of, you know, and you should believe me over him. I'm the one that's been here for years. He this newcomer, you know, ain't been here a year. And and you know, and you as you said, you y'all they didn't allow her to sully my name in their eyesight, you know, especially. I know she hated to hear. She hated to hear, like, oh well, I can't see John doing that. Yeah, you know, but yeah, I'm living the kingdom way in their in their sight, man. You know, I'm not up there with a Bible and got one out on my desk. They just seeing the way I move and the way I I'm my manner of life. And they just couldn't see me doing what she said I did. That's when, like you just said, living blameless, man. And that's you gotta be intentional about that, man. So yeah, God will He will vindicate, bro. He loves justice, he loves justice, but He wants to, he wants to bless everybody, not just, you know, He doesn't exact revenge, he does justice, man.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, before I even understood what you know how he really is, I'd be like, Yeah, he got my back.
SPEAKER_01Yeah right. Oh, he's gonna kill him, sugar. He's gonna kill him. Yeah, see, that's what happens when you mess with his son. Right, you don't touch his anointing, yeah. You don't do his promise no harm. You understand?
SPEAKER_05Yeah, yeah, like man, like that's my child too. I don't even try to hurt my own. Absolutely.
SPEAKER_01No, I'm not trying to hurt my other absolutely. What father, man? Even when you have your two children come to you and they got and there's a disagreement between the two, man, you're looking to best resolve this. You don't you don't excuse what happened. You're just looking for the best resolution for both of your children. You're not gonna like, oh, I'm gonna beat you to that. Now you you gone, I'm getting ready to go get you some ice cream and all that stuff. You, I'm getting ready to, you know, come on, bro. That's no, we don't do that.
Rejecting The Unworthy Theology
SPEAKER_01So why would we think God would do that?
SPEAKER_05I I heard that saying again, and um, you know, uh you know, great grace is sufficient. And if God if God didn't give us anything else, he gave us too much. And uh and that we're not worthy, man. You're not worthy, we're not good enough. I'm thinking like, man, what all Jesus endured, he felt that we were worthy of that.
SPEAKER_01He did two. It's how do how did you have two people that are in the same family look at the work of Christ and have two very different opinions about what he did. One, he came to save us because we didn't deserve it and he came to save us anyway, or two, he came to save us because he we weren't deserving of what happened, and we are worthy of redemption, and that's why he came. And and the most of the cap describes to the the former. Yeah, we deserved hell. Why, bruh? Why did we deserve hell? It wasn't he literally says hell wasn't made for man, it was made for the devil and his angels, it's had a specific purpose. Who other outside of them, who who else deserves to go? It's you only getting the good stuff because I'm so good. You're trash, so you need to just be thankful, bruh. I don't love to take a bullet to that I that idea, bro.
SPEAKER_05It is the worst, and it's so ungodly, it is.
SPEAKER_01It is, and it's so prevalent, and it's so prevalent. It it's it's it's I don't I don't let me ask you a question, man. If a mother did drugs when she was pregnant, and the baby is is born drug dependent, and because the baby is born drug dependent, it has deformity and and the way it was, you know, in the way that the child has some brain issues, so therefore it has behavioral problems. Um would you get mad at this child? Do you think this child deserves a lesser life or to be discarded because of what they were born into? No, bruh, we didn't we didn't do this, man. We were bro, when Adam did what he did, it was the qu it was not the equivalent, it was way worse than a mother that does drugs and have children. And you're bringing them into the in their dependence, crack the dependent child or whatever the drug is, bro. We came into we love saying that we were born insane. We love saying that. Well, do you realize the deformity you were born into then? If if you truly believe you were born insane and shaped in iniquity and all of that, if you truly believe that, then why are you upset at the people's behavior that's born in that?
SPEAKER_05Yeah, thank you. And when that woman said that, dude, like we didn't deserve salvation. So, but if that was the only thing that God gave us, he gave us too much. And I'm like, and I can see religious people just sucking that up.
SPEAKER_01They were salivating over ooze.
SPEAKER_05That's so true. She's she's preaching the gospel. Ah, and that's that's not good news at all.
SPEAKER_01No, there's no good news in that whatsoever.
SPEAKER_05Oh, and that was and that was old girl. Alex Seeley said that, and and and she was a she was on fire, bro. You know how we just oh, she literally said we were undeserving? Yeah, oh yeah. She the one said that. I meant to send you the I recorded it. I took the time out yesterday when I was making my lovely stack of pancakes. Uh, when I was doing that, I recorded, I recorded it, and I meant to send it to you. I'm gonna send it to you after the show. But man, what she was saying, you know, it was so good, and it was so good to the soul, and I learned from it. Yeah, but then she dropped that in there.
SPEAKER_01Dropped the bitter pill in.
SPEAKER_05No, no, no, she dropped the turd and my my horn flakes. That's what she did.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, go ahead, go ahead. Thanks. You know, next to a lunch and dinner, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Oh, jeez. Bunky, bunky, how many times I gotta tell you the litter box, the litter box.
SPEAKER_01Thank you. Your reference was much more graphic and applicable than mine was. You can't even turn it me out, man. I'm like, oh that is such a graphic image, and it's so befitting, bro, because that's what people do.
Church Culture Fatigue And A Better Way
SPEAKER_05And I was doing I was supposed to, and my you know, Tyres going, he has uh the deaf ministry today. They have a uh they have a program every year. And um and my mom and I usually go. My mom, you know, she's in the hospital, so she she's not gonna go. And I just man, I'm and uh I can hear my wife right now saying, it's about sacrifice, you need to go. You should go. And I just I'm just not I don't have it in me to hear all those religious quirks.
SPEAKER_03Just remember that the Lord give it and the Lord take it away.
SPEAKER_01He's getting ready. God is just about to well, how many bow to's you gonna get? Because you can do how many get remedies, bro. How many do we film? He pintoo. I love it now with the buttons. I'm pinto. Like, look, what's going on? I'm pinto. Give me a minute, hold on, hold on. It's it's crazy.
SPEAKER_05Oh yeah, man.
SPEAKER_01We don't owe nobody nothing, man. Paul is like, you don't owe the flesh nothing, bro. And and and most people in the box church this morning are gonna be preaching through their flesh, bro. Not preaching out of the word, but it's gonna filter through their flesh. The flesh of the unworthiness, the flesh of the unrighteousness, the flesh of the sinful, the sin consciousness. It's just it's just gonna it's just gonna all that's flesh, bro.
SPEAKER_05And and and the music is gonna is definitely gonna build your emotions up, and you're gonna feel good.
SPEAKER_01You can keep those slackcloth as bro. You can keep them, man. Brother, I'd rather be out with somebody that's speaking good on the golf course, man.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Than to than to be or whatever, you know, fishing or whatever. Anything other than that. Anything other than that, bro, and then gonna have an altar call where the altar was done away with in Christ, he destroyed all that, and we re-erected these altars, bro, and gonna have these things. Now come, you know, with the soft music, band, get ready. It's just, you know, everybody go in there and start playing. It's Pod Piper in, man. It's Pod Piper in, bro. Yes, and lead lead all these unworthy rats to the to the to the cross. Not I was about to say to the throne. No, that's the cross you taking them to. Which he's uh which he by the way he's no longer on. That was a one-day thing. I don't anyway.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. All right, man.
Teasing Paul And James Next
SPEAKER_05Hey, but hey, uh, I would like to talk about one of the uh Matt McMillan was talking about um the different theologies between uh Paul and James. Yeah, I just want to just throw this out there. Yeah, stick a pen in it, man. Oh, okay. Let's talk about our brothers, man. Okay, and um you know this this talk that seems to divide the ecclesia at times.
SPEAKER_01Oh, okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Let's hit that, man. All right, let's do that. All right, man. All right, we love you, people of God.
SPEAKER_05Yes. Have a blessed day and a blessed week. I love you.
SPEAKER_01And we love you too.
