What If Every Bible Disappeared Tomorrow?
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
If you’ve ever felt pressure to stay loyal when a leader clearly switched up, we’re naming the thing underneath it: idolatry dressed up as “support.” We start with Michigan politics and the frustration around Gretchen Whitmer, data centers, and policy reversals, not to do partisan takes, but to talk about consistency, accountability, and why grown-up discernment means you can praise past good and still denounce present harm without spiraling into team sports.
Then we zoom out to a bigger question someone raised about our show: why talk so much about what we’re living through? Because that’s what scripture is full of. Letters to real cities. Poems written from real pain. Prophecies spoken into real moments. We dig into biblical context, why the Corinthian church needed specific guidance, and how modern church culture often skips the “who, when, and why” that makes the Bible come alive. We also ask a gut-check question: what happens to your faith if every Bible app disappears tomorrow and all you have left is your relationship with God?
We go hard on “box-check religion” and the idea of doing your time at church, then contrast it with sonship and grace, anchored in Ephesians 1 and what it means to be accepted in the Beloved. We even talk AI and why quick research can expose bad teaching, while still reminding ourselves that information isn’t spirit until it moves through a yielded life. If any of this hits home, subscribe, share this with a friend who’s tired of shallow religion, and leave a review so more people can find the conversation. What part challenged you most?
Quick Catch Up And Setup
SPEAKER_01What is up? What's happening, man?
SPEAKER_05Got it. Got it, man. Life, life, life. This this kingdom life. It's nothing like it, my guy.
SPEAKER_01Nothing like it. Nothing. Nothing, bruh. Nothing. What what you got? What you got on it?
SPEAKER_05So we gonna, we know, I'll uh you know, I was I was triggered by uh comment was made on the last podcast. So I do want to talk about uh what we do here on this podcast. I want to like address that, you know. But before we go, man, before we start there, I do want to talk about politics for a hot second.
Politics Without Worshiping Politicians
SPEAKER_05Okay, and not in the way you might think.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_05You know, I've on this podcast before I say I find it goofy for people to idolize or worship these politicians, and it is, and I've been, and the ones that I call myself liking, uh, I get slapped in my face by their or by their their doings or whatever their behavior. So the latest, bro, Whitmer, Gretchen Big Gretsch, not your girl. You can call me Big Gretch, not your girl, not Auntie. What happened, bro? I'm so disappointed in her, man. What happened, man? What happened? She sold, she sold Missy Ganders out. That's one of the things I I used to love hearing say, oh, Missy Ganders, man, she sold us out, man.
SPEAKER_01What?
SPEAKER_05Yeah. Uh she's you know, at first she was on the one side, no data centers. Now now she's supporting. I don't know because maybe she's on her way out, but she's supporting data centers, man.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_05And so she also she vetoed Democratic back uh backed bills, which I'm not it could be Democratic Republic, but but these bills
Whitmer Data Centers And Veto Fallout
SPEAKER_05were were dealing with people, man. Um let's see, uh these are like public assistant things, public assistant protections, man. Correction officer pensions and health care benefits expansion, uh, and all the stuff, man, that she vetoed, man. All stuff that she's you know, she stood on what she told us she stood on. On her way out the door, she's not standing on it. And then she was caught on the hot mic. Uh, she was caught on the hot mic saying that um a lot of people are opposed to this, the data center, but she said she don't care, bro. Yeah, so yeah, so uh people you uh who follow Trump, see how easy how to denounce somebody?
SPEAKER_01I didn't I publicly denounce Whitman's actions and their policies, and and and bro, I think that's I think that's a significant thing to to bring forth too, is that you when you're denouncing it, I'm denouncing her actions and her policies. But you're not uprooting, you know, the the the connection or the support that you have for what she did prior. And and and that is important for people to understand, man, is that you can be a supporter of somebody today because you were supporting the policies, the actions, what they were, you know, for and against. And if they shift, so does your support. I don't know. I no longer support if you're going down this way, I don't support what you're doing now. And and we marry people. It's like you said, man, it's like it's it's an idolatry type thing when it comes to politics. It's like I'm gonna rock with you even when you do crazy stuff. I'm gonna still support you because it's like I gotta defend my support of you previously, and because you waffling and and stuff, I still I gotta explain your position a little bit and go into detail and make it say stuff that you ain't even trying to that you said what you said, right? And and I can't defend what you said, and so we but we gotta defend our support of that person because I rocked with them and now I gotta keep rocking with them. No, you don't, man. When a person changes up, bro, I can let you know, oh you lost my support, man. You lost my support, you know, with that decision. Be like, because that and that shows us how important consistency is. Why are you changing your position? Money. Always man, follow the money. But but but give, but you know what, bro? No, let me know why. Because if you got a valid reason why you changing it or you got some insight that maybe I don't have, let me know. Because you because you may get me to change my position on it based on what you got to say. So, but but yeah, when you just gonna leave it like that, and be like, no, I'm just nah. And I'm vetoing this. Why? Why are you doing that? Yeah, politicians don't feel like they owe you no explanation, and and and that is a lie. You owe me every explanation for what you're doing.
SPEAKER_05Absolutely. I took my yeah, I voted for you to get in there because you said you had these policies in place. Absolutely, and so I voted for you because of it. Now you're doing it. Now you're doing a 180-degree turn, right? And a lot of a lot of people are concerned about these data centers. And she said, uh, sure, whatever, I'm gonna do it. And then even the president himself said, You're gonna just have to deal with it, people. You're gonna have one in your backyard, you just got to deal with it.
SPEAKER_01Right. And dude, and that is not that is not leadership, man. To for you not to inform the people and and tell people that's your thing. Like, you ain't my father, every time you're not my mother. You can't just tell me, well, that's just the way it is, and you just gotta live with it. You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_00You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_01Come, no, you were voted into that position. You weren't you weren't granted that, you know, as my overseer or whatever. You were you were voted in, and you gotta explain yourself, man. You man, come on, yeah, I know, man.
SPEAKER_05So but I did. I I when I saw that, uh, I was on TikTok and I started seeing the people denouncing her. I'm like, man, what's going on? What's up with my girl?
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_05Looked it up. I was like, no way. Then I saw the video when she was on the hot mic, and I was like, You did you just say that? I I heard it, you know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_01I heard it with my own errors, yeah.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, so I'm cool.
SPEAKER_01Uh, just like no explanation, like no in-depth explanation or nothing like that.
SPEAKER_05Well, I was looking for it, haven't found it yet. Maybe she will, but like I said, man, she she can't run for governor anymore because you know, she did all the terms that she the terms that she can.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, she can.
SPEAKER_05Uh, so I don't know, maybe president is the next move for her. I'm not sure. Yeah, but if that's if that's the case, that's that's the rumor. But if that's the case, uh, I'm cool on you.
SPEAKER_01Right, see, and the thing is, and see, and that's what's important with consistency, man, and and having your self- your platform established because if you do got higher aspirations, my vote follows you. And if you stay consistent in that, I'm gonna follow you with my vote. And if you switch up, you lost it.
SPEAKER_05It's a lot of it's a lot of people, uh, it's a lot of bad actors out there betraying betraying people, and you know, uh, people God, you know, we built we made in the image and likeness of God, and you know, and in Hebrew, likeness means function. So if you're not functioning like God, you're a malfunctioning, you're malfunctioning, there it is, yeah. And I'm seeing a lot of malfunctioning out here, and so that takes us to the discussion that I want to talk about. It's the Bible,
Why We Chronicle Real Faith
SPEAKER_05yeah. Uh, you know, you had um mentioned that um that we could somebody said we come on here and we just talk about what we go through, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01This the substance is not they're looking for more substance. They're looking for more okay, okay.
SPEAKER_05Okay, way to way to explain it, okay. But I'm looking the Bible though, the Bible, that's all the Bible is, right? Yeah, yeah. People having a relationship with God and going through what they're going through and writing it down, like journeying.
SPEAKER_01And recording it, scripting it. That's that's what it is. It's not a it's not uh it's not a a uh laid out thing that you should follow because this person did it that way. I'm gonna just take what they did and implement exactly what they did. The principles, yes, but the actual play out of what happened, no. That's their rel that was what they were going through, and that's the recorded history that they had with God in that situation, and that was written for us to you know to take a to look at to get an a broad awareness, you know, a picture of that. What was that?
SPEAKER_05And I was saying extract those principles and exactly, absolutely so they they wrote this down and they add a um a collection of letters and and prophecies and even the Torah and all that. We're doing the same thing, we're just doing it on the podcast, you know, right? We're we're and do and dwelt with the Holy Spirit, and we go through these situations and um and we just talking about moment to moment by basis, every yeah, absolutely.
SPEAKER_01We're chronicling it. That basically our podcast is more chronicling, you know. You got different types of podcasts, people have interviews that they bring people on, and and all of that, and that's what their podcast is based on. People have like you, sports podcasts, you got a podcast, Disco Hicks, or you talk about entertainment, media, you know, music, sport, just all that, all of the so the whole thing is that it's life is a whole expression, and God is is intended to be in all of it, he's intended to be in all of it, even if he's not specifically named in that. It's a reason that he put the book of Esther allowed that and and let me put this, let me change that verbiage. God didn't put the book of Esther in the Bible. Watch it. You know, it was it was a historical uh writing that was inspired and it was placed in there because there are certain books of the Bible that aren't in the books that aren't in the Bible of recorded history, yeah. You know, and so with God, you know, specifically, so that the scriptures in the Bible references these books and they're not in there. So we have to be clear when we say that that you God inspires, but man, we we do, we're the ones that do the things here, and so but the book of Esther, the recordings of Esther, Hadassah, you know, is actually was her Hebrew name, is in the is in the scriptures, man. And and and the Lord's name is not mentioned one time in the scripture, in in her book, not once, but you see him all through it. Yes, you see you see him all the way through it, but his name wasn't mentioned, and so this person don't like the fact that we don't um you know put it a lot, get up here and put chapter and verse behind everything that we say, you know, and the thing is like if you were giving it an honest lesson of how we're expressing our moment-to-moment encounters, our struggles, our triumphs, and all of this. And here's the thing, bro. I don't think there's ever been an episode where we haven't mentioned Holy Spirit or Kingdom. I mean, the name of the program is called Gospel Twins, people. I mean, come on, man. You know, good news. You you you coming in on that we're, you know, we're we're coming to bring good news. And even when we have our struggles, we talk about even if we're not out of them yet, we know we're coming out of it. We're just going through it in real time and chronicling the experience along the way, the journey, which is all like you just said, which is all what the Bible is, it's just different, yeah.
SPEAKER_05And we just trying to offer, you know, through our trials, guidance and encouragement, and absolutely, and live it out in faith, and we're trying to show we're also talking telling telling the listeners that about our faith, and so you can see where our faith lies, how strong it is, or even certain areas where it can be weak, but absolutely we're open, open, honest, and transparent about all that.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, absolutely. Absolutely. We're living, as Paul called it, if you want the theological established version, we're living epistles. We're we're you're seeing it in real time. You know, the Galatian script, they weren't, they weren't the Galatians weren't weren't reading Galatians when they were going through what they were going through. No, you know, right the Corinthians didn't have Corinthians, you know, first and second Corinthians. We have that because they went through it, and we call it Corinthian, first and second Corinthians. And people, do you know that there was a third letter that's not in the scriptures? You know, I mean, and so it's like like we always say the Bible was written uh for us, but not to us. So we're actually reading other people's mail and able to, you know, and able to extract principles from it as they pertain to God and the teachings that they were were receiving. But we're 100% reading other people's stuff, bro.
SPEAKER_05Poetry, laws, prophecies, absolutely, absolutely. Let's go about the Corinthian church, man. Just go back there, man.
SPEAKER_01And I just want to say before you say that, if you just mentioned the word, and we're reading their prophecies, and they were their prophecies, people, they weren't ours, they were their prophecies. Now, can we extract principles out of their prophecies and live in the plow? Absolutely, but like you said, bro, that was their stuff that was written to them, and we have been reading it and thank God for it. But what if we didn't have it? What if one day we woke up tomorrow and all the Bibles and scriptures and everything was gone? Your apps are gone, on it's all gone.
SPEAKER_05What do you have? What do you have left to leave? Would we panic? You know, right, right.
SPEAKER_01Would we panic? Would we now go and and and rally around and only hang out with people who've memorized so much scripture that
Reading The Bible With Context
SPEAKER_01that they can tell us what the stuff said? I mean, do we just go or do we go into a panic? My scripture's gone. What happened to your div your devotionals and all everything's gone? Is God gone? No, did Holy Spirit leave?
SPEAKER_05Absolutely not.
SPEAKER_01Come on, man. This is it's gotta be so real, but now go to the Corinthian church as you were about to tell me. We're talking about the letters, okay.
SPEAKER_05So we got new current new converts, you know. So they had the you know, they was having sex inside the church, and so the women, the women cut their hair, and the dudes grew their hair long, so they was going through all this, and it was like, well, we we new converts, but we still getting approached by the old the old religion, and so yes, Paul's like, yes, women cover your hair, men cut your hair, right dealing with the culture, bro.
SPEAKER_01What they were going through, what they were going through. He he literally called them babes in Christ, literally called them that. And why were they having sex in the church and stuff? Because their form of religion that they're coming out of that was a that was a form of worship in their culture to the deity that they were worshiping, the sex god or whoever that was, or what that's what they were coming out of, bro. Do you think that this this instant transformation that religion wants you to have because I'm this is what the scriptures say. So you're supposed to automatically, yeah, bro. That is so unrealistic. And we have sold that to generations for so long, and and now there's gonna be an a reviv, man. There's an error, a revival coming. Why do you keep needing revivals? That means something keeps dying. Why does it keep dying? Because there's no life in what's being given. No, you can keep infusing it, man. You can keep putting the life support in there, and you can keep doing it. And and and this revival is nothing but an awareness of that. What you're bringing everybody awareness to what? A sin consciousness, a more a moral decay or or failing. Why? Because that's what's happening. Why does it keep happening? Because whatever we're given is not sustainable.
SPEAKER_05And when I was going to the box church, there were there were elder members at these churches. And what I just what I just said about the Corinthian church, I can say that to them, and they wouldn't even know anything I'm talking about.
SPEAKER_01Right. Exactly.
SPEAKER_05Yet they go there every every Sunday and sometimes Wednesday, go there every Sunday and hear the preacher say these scriptures and all that, but don't even know the context of what they're reading.
SPEAKER_01No cultural context whatsoever.
SPEAKER_05And I was seeing it. I was a I was a usher.
SPEAKER_01Hey, I'm ushering. You bringing people in. I'm ushering you into this. Yeah. Your seat. Please find your seat right here, please.
SPEAKER_05I'm saying this now by the time I was there. And be prepared to be misled. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_01I'm prepping you for it. I'm prepping you for it. And please. And as I pass this plate to collect your money for that, uh, please give generously to this uh misconception too. And of course, we're we're tongue-in-cheeking it and we're laughing, but this is what's happening. Yeah, this is what's happening week after week, all over the world, and we're doing it under the guise of Christ, under a name that we've called Christianity, because it's it just because they don't even know the essence of where Christian the word Christian came from or the foundation of it. Or, oh, I do, because the scripture says they were first called Christians in Antioch. Praise God. You know, you know, praise God. But do you know why they Antioch believers called Christians, what they called them, you know, calling them Christian? Bruh, it was it was born off of a negative intention. And Christianity is was like, you know, your boy Constantine. There he is, that dude there.
SPEAKER_05Father, when I hey, on that day, I'm looking for him. Like, I just want to I just don't know.
SPEAKER_01Come on, Debo Stalling.
SPEAKER_06Questions.
SPEAKER_03I guess trying to make it happen. Trying to make it happen.
SPEAKER_05Being everything to everybody.
SPEAKER_01Exactly. Exactly. Well, ain't that what Paul said? See what I'm saying, man. Yeah. See what I'm saying? No, I'm sorry. I didn't cut you off. Go ahead, bro.
SPEAKER_05But no, just people, and I told you that I said this to you before. How the people that I speak to when we talk about the Bible, and like, oh, you act like if I don't agree with you, then I'm wrong. You kind of are, but I would say this. But I apologize. But I will say this. Certain people I spoke to act like the like God wrote the Bible with his own hands and dropped it out of heaven, like manna. And so when Moses and the Israelites were in the desert, they grabbed these books up and saw it. Yeah, so had it, but I would say had it been like that, it would have been a it would be different. Right. But no, it was it was two men writing it out in these letters and these epistles and these poems. It is pro their prophecies back then. Yeah, so uh come on.
SPEAKER_01It's funny even when you say uh when you say these poems, and it's so funny, you know, because some of these poems that David wrote, it opens up to the to the chief musician at this person. So he's literally saying, I wrote this song, and and take this to the chief musician, you know, and and teach these, you know, teach this to the to the choir or to the people, whatever. Literally showing you that that was not written to us, people. He literally said, This was I wrote this and this is and take this to the chief musician, man. Uh uh that lived then, that lived then, because he wants it. He's he's wrote a worship song to the Lord, and most of it, and most of his songs were about his personal experiences that people can draw from. Even Paul says when you're going through stuff, he said, Man, encourage yourself with with the psalms and hymns and spiritual songs. It's nothing wrong with that to use it as an instrument of encouragement. And and and more specifically, with something that you're specifically going to, you know, or going through. Oh, I need to find a script. I'm going through a health problem right now, or uh a mental problem, or a financial problem. All of these things are here in here for us to, like you said, extract the principles from. But you coming up here every Sunday, half the people don't even know nothing of what's going on in your personal life. And then well, I was let and here's the and this is how good God is, people. But do not work, do not look up like you were just talking about people worship these politicians, man. They worship minister lead ministry leaders too. And for sure. My bishop, my bishop, my pastor, my church, this and that, my, my, my. I mean, uh, you think you're listening to Johnny Gills. My is going on. And and then when you do that, people that well, did you say, man, past the preacher? Boy, that that that that meant that script sermon hit me right where I left. Do not underestimate the love of God and the mercy of God for Holy Spirit giving, you know, like you can talk to a thousand people and a thousand people hear something different. Absolute make you can't deny that. Absolutely, that's true. But that's because of how good the father is, that's because of how personal Holy Spirit is Mr.
SPEAKER_05Helper.
SPEAKER_01But if you don't have that relationship, that where that word,
Religion Versus Relationship With God
SPEAKER_01that truth, can come through the spirit of truth, him being the very spirit of the truth of that word with no relationship with him, bruh. All you heard was a good message. Farrakhan preaches a good message, man. I'd love to hear him speak. He's so articulate, bro. And and make and will use Bible. Yeah. I've seen Farrakhan uproot a mini uh uh so-called Bible scholar with the scriptures, yeah. I mean, you know what I mean? If it's just about intellect and and and being able to just get up and and exergete a sermon, you know, a passage of script of scriptures, man. Bro, they teach you how to do that, they teach you that in in theology school. But let me tell you what a person cannot teach you. They cannot teach you to have a relationship with with Holy Spirit. Can't be taught that. That's a love thing. Jesus said, You love me because I first loved you. It's it's reciproc. It's what how you say that word? Uh reciprocity. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's reciprocated, man. It's it's not uh it's not something that you can just go sit in a pew and get. Oh, this this they leave this part out though. Especially the more as you see the day approaching. What day are they talking about? So if you don't know the context and what Paul is saying, what day is approaching? Judgment Day. Oh, what judgment day? You know, at the end when everything happens, and and it could they were living in an age where there was an end coming, there was a destruction coming. The temple worship was going to end something that's been going on for thousands of years in their generation is coming to an end. And Paul saying, Man, y'all need to make sure. I'm saying Paul said it, it's in Hebrews. People, somebody listen, like a theologian that's ready to go to battle. You know, you can't say that, Paul wrote it. Okay, you can't. The Hebrew writer said that he knew or she, whoever the person is, knew that there was a specific time coming. They knew they were living in the end time, bruh, which was specific to them. How yeah, how but see, if you don't, if you're not taught this stuff, man, and you're not given like you just started out earlier earlier, a cultural context. You just implement this every time you read it. You put yourself in that moment every time you read it. That's just what we do naturally. This is why we can enjoy books, this is why we can enjoy movies, this is why we can enjoy why because when we we subconsciously connect with what's being what we're looking at or what we're reading, and it could be something from thousands of years ago, man. And this is how wonderfully we're made that I can feel this today, even though it was written thousands of years ago. Why? Because man, I'm experiencing something similar to that. Similar, the principle, yes, the actual situation, no, no, not at all. We're we're doing he they knew Christ has now came, he's fulfilled all of the law and the prophets, everything that the scriptures had been talking about since Genesis, bro. He's here now, he's fulfilled everything, he's resurrected, he's he's seated at the right hand of the Father. That means everything is fulfilled. Now it's done. He says, now this you're the temple of the Holy Spirit, you're the temple of God. But there was still a physical temple, bro. That people were still going to people were still taking their animal sacrifices, too. People were still doing all of the they were doing all of the same things that they were doing prior to Christ's coming. Bruh, do you remember the Passover? Um, the last Passover meal they had in the upper room that Jesus had with his disciples. There it is his group, Christ's particular group of followers, his disciples, are having the last Passover feast that would be according. In fact, they're not having the same Passover. It was Passover, period. Everyone was celebrating it in Jerusalem.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Passover. It was the Mosaic Passover feast that they were celebrating, coming out of Exodus, Egypt, all of that. They're still doing the ritualistic Passover. His group is in the upper room on the same time, same day, same hour, taking Passover, but in a whole new and living way.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And Jesus said, I am the Passover. Take and drink. This is my this bread, this is my body that's been broken for you. This is my blood. This is the the pat, this is the new covenant. They were actually, everyone around them in that same country was taking Passover, the old way. His one group, this one group of people that's that's been set off, set aside to take this new message out to the world after this, is taking a whole, they taking Passover in a whole different dimension. They have taken it on a whole nother level, the new, the living way, the new covenant, the new creation reality. Why the rest of the world around them was taking it the old way. Why? Just simply because they have a they've been brought into a level of revelation and understanding that no one else has.
SPEAKER_05It has to start somewhere, you know what I'm saying? It's gotta start.
SPEAKER_01Absolutely. And it started in that room. Started right there. Started right there in that room. And and would no one would deny that. If you tried to confront confront Jesus after the fact, he he wouldn't have took it away. He wouldn't have said, like, oh, you know what, man, you know, I know we gotta get back into the into the swing of things, you know, man. That was just our one experience, bro. No, he was starting something that was going to spread across the rest of the world. Period. But it had to, as you said, start somewhere. But there were a lot of people, bro, that just kept doing the same old, same old. Why? Because this is what we've always done. This is the way it's always been. This is the only way I've ever known. Yeah. What are people? But then what does Paul do? Paul uses when he's talking to the to the people in Rome. It's called, it's called now. This is why is this so significant? Because see, don't don't look at the book of Romans. They were Romans that he was talking to. Like you said, Corinthians, they lived in Corinth. They were you start off with uh Governor Whitmer, she Michiganders. She's talking to people that live in Michigan. She's governor of Michigan. Yes, so it's specific. It's but I'm talking to people. Why? And call data centers. They look, they're talking about raising them up, putting them all around our areas. Not that they not that they do it all over the world, but you can't put a data center in New York, not in the heart of New York. And any why? Man, that's Brick City. You don't have there's nowhere for you to put a data center. Michigan, Iowa, all these places that got all this land and all of this, what bruh, we're the ones that's targeted for this stuff. Now it's gonna serve everybody else, it's gonna serve New York and all. And I'm not saying there ain't no places in New York to put a data center. I'm just saying we're we're we're prime for it because we got a lot of open land. A lot of open land here. And and it takes a lot of water to run these data centers, and we're surrounded. We we got the Great Lakes, bro. We're surrounded with water, and they'll have processing plants to purify the water that it could be. I mean, it bruh, anyway, so it's a real concern for us here in Michigan. So you're addressing Michiganders. Same way Paul is talking to Romans, he's talking to people that lived in Thessalonica, people that lived in Corinth and Ephesus, and all of that. And the letters are just written and they're just titled as such.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_01Because that's who he's talking to. And everyone who reads this letters know, oh, this is culturally applicable to us where we are. We have zero connection to any of those things that them people was dealing with back then. The only thing we have is, well, let me put it this way: the best thing that we have out of all of that, and I don't mean that we have no connection because we all have Holy Spirit, same spirit, same person from that they had then we have now. But the the the the scriptures references and and what they were dealing with and the applications of it and the implications of it were specific to them, not specific to us, bro.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, so when you come to this podcast, you hear what we say, we you hear what we talk about, what's going on today, and how today, yes, and how we navigate and how the Holy Spirit is getting us through our truck.
SPEAKER_01According to the kingdom, right, right today, today, today, today we gotta remember religion was not God's will.
SPEAKER_05Never, sonship, sonship, always just just think about Adam, man. And we gotta go always gotta take it back to the beginning. How to Adam Adam had everything, man, to the point where it's like he was a grown babe, you know, because he was totally dependent upon God for everything, everything. Yes, he was, and that's what God wants us that way now. He don't want us going to these buildings and looking at this dude. Because even throughout the Bible, he tried to approach, he tried to he he tried to um guide us himself, and we got he got rejected. Absolutely, he got rejected a few times throughout you read the Bible.
SPEAKER_01He's rejected all the time throughout the Bible.
SPEAKER_05Okay, okay, all right throughout the script. But I feel what you right Moses situation, right and in the Saul situation.
SPEAKER_01So when they wanted a king that they could see, yeah, right. So I was just like the rest of the nations. No, I no, I understood that. But man, but but I also want people to see in real time. We we we poke at each other, you know, at bruh, because we're going through this and we're real people, man. Like you check me, or just it ain't even a check, it's just us being us in real time, and and God is right there in it. Did God have me say that? Did God have you say what you said? You know, people what man, I you know, Holy Spirit told me he may have told you that, but the way that you're gonna communicate it is gonna come through who you are. Thank you. The Bible's like that. Paul, David, Paul, Paul, everyone, right? Man, isn't this a stern guy, Paul? And and here's the thing, and and the way he was, Jesus said, and I need that dude. I need that. That's he's a special right, yes, no conflicted, you know.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, you know, but but but um are we while we while we at Paul, I wanted to ask you a question because I saw this, see all this erroneous crap come out. So they talking about Paul, you know, and going back reading the scriptures, it was a guy matter of fact, guy at the box church talking about Paul. Uh Paul had his own gospel. He so he reading the scriptures of Paul's like, you know, my gospel, uh my gospel. And but not giving any context of what he's saying.
SPEAKER_01Of what he meant when he said that.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, what he meant. Yes. He he didn't come up with it by the owner.
SPEAKER_01I could strangle some of these people for being like that, man. I just just you don't drop stuff like that and just let it go, bro. And and this is this is the thing, man. Okay, you talking about the same Paul that said, Don't follow me even as I'm a follower of Christ? You talking about the same Paul that says, I've looked everything I've ever accomplished, I count it dung, as you say, feces when it comes to pursuing Christ. I gotta let all that stuff. You talking about this same Paul? That when he so when he says my gospel, do you literally think he's talking about a gospel that he's bringing of his own accord? His yeah, his invention. No, he's come on, man. Take take the whole person's life in context, and this is literally like you're explaining what our podcast with the gospel twins is about. We're bringing our life as a context to what we're talking about. We love music, we love movies, we love, we have relationships, and we go through all of the tensions and frictions of all of it, and God is right there with us through every moment. We don't compartmentalize, we don't go to church on Sunday and live life Monday through Saturday.
SPEAKER_05Check this
Paul’s “My Gospel” And AI Clarity
SPEAKER_05out, man. So that pastor, he's a pastor. He I I mean, from the clip I saw, he seemed like he was a pastor in front of a congregation. He said this, he teaches his, I hate to say that, his flock. Oh my god, it's terrible. His flock that Paul has his own gospel. But check this out. I go to I go to perplexity. You know what perplexity says? Paul did not mean the gospel was his invention or a different message from God's. He says, My gospel, he's speaking as the one personally entrusted to preach it, and he's also said came to him through a revelation of Jesus Christ, not from human origin.
SPEAKER_03Yes, sir. You're preaching good.
SPEAKER_05You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_01Bruh. Bruh. And AI, you put that in perplexity, and perplexity probably get shot that back at you like how quick?
SPEAKER_05Yes, seconds, man. Seconds, and again seconds, bro. And then it drop seven sources it comes from, and bam, there it is.
SPEAKER_01All of the people, this is what I'm saying. Y'all better, y'all better get on and and get with that AI and use it for your benefit and your advantage. And and it and it and here's the thing. They wasn't saying an AI ain't even coming up with its own stuff, it's searching and pulling in a lot of different resources from people that wrote these things. But what the benefit that you have of AI is AI is snipping through the junk. It's cutting, you you're getting a pruned in pure people. All information, if it's not coming by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, is out, is is is unspirited. It's just information. What gives information spirit is us. Yes. Uh uh, bro. You can go into uh I go to Imagine Movie Theater, Hearing Canton, they got a uh piano that plays the keys are moving and everything by itself. Nobody ain't in there playing it, but it's it's programmed to play that. It's still music, yeah. It's still music, but like, but yeah, but that's just programmed, it ain't no spirit to it. Any instrument that's being played, the only spirit is gonna have is when it comes through the person that's playing it. That's it. AI is just it information, bro. But when it comes through, but when you just read it, you just read what perplexity said, but when you read it, I felt it through the spirit of who you are reading it.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, yeah, yeah, absolutely.
SPEAKER_01I didn't just hear perplexity is information, you know what I mean? I heard what you reading the information, the perplexity, and I caught the spirit of every word that was said. Came out. And you know what I heard? Like, people would compare this, this truth with the asinine crap that that person, this is a this is a program that guess gave me this information, which is true compared to a pastor or a person that's a preaching to people with an asinine revelation of like Paul made this up. You you come on, man. What is we doing, bro? What is we doing? I I'd rather have a person that's actually preaching with the understanding and speaking. He's preaching, and you just read, and more revelation came from what you read than what he's preaching. It ain't more revelation, true revelation. Because whatever they were talking about was crap.
SPEAKER_05Oh my gosh. And on top of that, you know me, I'm going straight to the comment section. I knew Paul was a liar, Paul's a fraud. Even, even I think he said that somebody said Farrakhan said he was a fraud. Something else saying all this stuff. He was a fraud, and people have been saying he's a fraud all this time. And just straight.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, of course. He was he was the apostle to the to the rest of the nations, yeah. The Gentiles. Of course. Who would want you to not think that Paul was a fraud? That's that's that's the kingdom of darkness, that's Satan's bag, bro. Paul literally taught Timothy. He wrote this to Timothy, but thank God we got to listen to it. We got to read Timothy's mail. But Paul wrote this to Timothy. He said, Look, he is like, bro, the spirit spoke to me expressly that in these last days, those last days that they were living in, he said, Man, you are gonna have so many people that's gonna be speaking some crazy crap. You're gonna have doctrines
Doctrines Of Devils And Testing Spirits
SPEAKER_01of devils, seducing spirits, people giving heed to them, and departing from the faith. And this, but you stand strong, dude. You know the truth, and you don't let all that stuff get at you and influence you and put pressure on you to follow the culture and all of that. He's literally telling him this stuff. But let anybody say Paul said there are doctrines of devils, teachings. A doctrine of a devil is not fornication, bro. That is not a doctrine of a devil. The doctrine of a devil is a devil that knows the scriptures and can manipulate them in turn just like Jesus, just like Satan tried to do Jesus when he saw Jesus was a word man. He was when Jesus said it is written, he's like, oh, this brother coming with the scriptures. Okay, look, uh go up to the temple, throw yourself off because it is written that he's giving his angels charge over you to the the the the bruh the the demons and the devils know the scriptures more than a lot of these preachers and pastors do, and where do you think they're getting their influence from? And they're like, Man, uh uh my my pastor can't be influenced by a demon. You then you're most deceived because anybody can be influenced. The revelation, John said that Satan deceived the whole world. Forgot about that part, huh? Right. Just let just let you and this same John in his epistle and his writings said, Man, try every spirit by the spirit to see if that's the spirit of God. When I saw somebody post on I sent you the video, man, when this woman got up in church and went at the pastor, literally, now man, I don't condone the way she did it, but she rose up and she said, I'm sick of this. She was like, This you preaching demonic doctrines, and he's sitting there talking about Satan. I rebuke you, bro. His rebuke was whack. It was weak. You want to know how? Because it didn't do anything. If it was the devil and he had authority, that should have shut her right up. That woman ignored that, came through it like it was butter. Why? Because there was no authority behind that. This woman ain't being she she wasn't, she wasn't probably behaving in a in a right manner on the way she did it, but she was a woman that was fed up, listening to this crap coming out the pulpit. She's like, This man sitting here in lying to y'all and telling you this, she's like, I heard it, and you tell it, and then the woman is sitting in there, she was like, and me and you were talking about it. So don't even act like you, I mean, she wasn't doing it right, but she was just done. Yeah, she's just done, man. If you if you walk out of it, bro, if people really knew the scriptures and knew what they the principles and the context of what's being said and knew it was being spoken to them as it's something that's supposed to be uh a way that they're supposed to behave in this moment during this time. If people understood that and walked out on it, man, do you know how many of the box churches would be empty in minutes, bro?
SPEAKER_05I know, I wish, I mean, hey, but people love that box. It's because it it's it's a conference place for them. It's conference place.
SPEAKER_01It is. Oh, and it's my box checker. Yeah, I get to check my boxes. I get went church, check the tithes, offerings, check, fellowship, pray, fellowship, check, prayer, oh, check, worship, check, praise, check all of these checks that you can get, and I can go into the week and feel good about myself, and Monday show up and beat you to death. Why? No relationship with father, no relationship there, just check boxes, religion. This what man, me and you were talking about a brother that what'd he say, man? I I'm going to get this over with, or or I did my went to church and did my time. I did my time.
unknownWow.
SPEAKER_01What is you in? What is you in prison? Yeah. No, I I did my time. Time served.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_05This brother said he go to church, he listened to a sermon, do his time, he leave. He said, I don't sit around and talk to nobody. I just I did my time and go home.
SPEAKER_01It's all transaction, man.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01It's all transaction, bro. Nothing, nothing real. Nothing real, nothing sustainable. And wonder why you don't have no righteousness, no peace, and no joy flowing through your life.
SPEAKER_05I just, man, we like to take it back to the beginning at the essence
Sonship Grace And Final Scripture
SPEAKER_05of everything. Let's close on this, though, man. Just the fact that um, we know we talk about the sonship, because you just think about your relationship with your child, and then and then compare it to your relationship with God. And just think about also at the beginning when God said everything was good. There was no singing or praying or fasting, pastors, no prophets, no teachers, or evangelists. Man, it was none of that. But he's yet, and he said it was good, it was good, and it was good. So, what that makes you think about. I mean, really, like, are you just going through the motions? Some unnecessary emotions.
unknownI know.
SPEAKER_05Yes, sir. You're preaching good. You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_01And and I know we we're getting out, man, but you know, just for the people that say we don't, you know, bring enough scripture in, you know, you know. Let's end on this when he's talking to the Ephesian church. This is Paul. He says, Blessed be, this is Ephesians 1, verse 3, blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who have blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. I just gotta do a pause. All means all. So after you say all, what's left after all? Nothing, nothing, all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ, according as he hath chosen us in him. You always love to talk about the beginning, before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love, having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, to the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he wherein he have made us accepted in the beloved. All spiritual blessings in heavenly places, in Christ, bro. He's made us accepted in the we're it all accepted fully predestined to be that way, according to the praise of the glory of his grace. You talk about the the what is a is a child, is a parent child relationship on law or grace? Grace. It's grace only, bro. When it comes to us and our children, it's a grace relationship only. And they're predestined to have that before they ever were born. As soon as they tell you you got a child coming, that that grace, the praise of the glory of the grace that's gonna be exchanged between y'all is already it's predestined, bro. I mean, your heart changes, your heart changes. It's all it's totally, totally, and they're accepted as beloved before they ever come here, and they're worthy too. And they're worthy of it, man. And they're worthy of it, bro. Before, as you just said, no singing, no praying, no scriptural memorization, nothing, no prayer, no fasting, no giving, nothing is being done by them. And you're your love and all of your predestined aspirations and love for them is already there, and they ain't even expressed in any form or fashion yet. But but that's sonship, that's daughterhood, bro. That's when it's when it's a family thing, but when it's religious. When it's religious, and just to clear that up, yeah, adopted in Christ, like we're still unworthy, it's all because adopted just simply means I've predetermined it. He literally said predestinated. It's just like adopting an attitude to something. Adopt it doesn't mean the adoption like an abandoned child, and I went and adopted them. Adopted means that the parent has already preconceived this notion to extend this towards the child before they have ever been born. Yeah, it's an it's an idea I've adopted concerning my child. That's the spirit of adoption. Not that you don't belong. We're we're literally God's image, like you said, we're made in the image and likeness of God. We're his children for real.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_01So the adoption can't mean the adoption that we think in the Western world.
SPEAKER_05Right.
SPEAKER_01You preach it good, Pastor.
SPEAKER_05And turn to your left and tell your tell your neighbor, we're going to the kingdom. Say to your neighbor, we're in the right place today.
SPEAKER_01And tell the people that didn't show up today they miss God. Tell them they miss God. Stop. If you wasn't in church today, you miss God, bro.
SPEAKER_05Because we heard he fits to good, he fits to do something.
SPEAKER_01He finna do it, bro.
SPEAKER_05In this season, he fits to do it in this season.
SPEAKER_01In seven days, bro. In seven days. I'm sorry, bro.
SPEAKER_05All right, let's get up out of here. All right, we love you. Yes. We be back next week with another one. All right.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, we will.
