In 2006, he appeared in a history of the guitar documentary, “Primal Twang: The Legacy of the Guitar”. In 2007, he performed at Eric Clapton’s “Crossroads Guitar Festival”, and in 2017, he was given the Trailblazer Lifetime Achievement Award at the U.K. Americana Awards.
