7: Emma Fillipoff

On November 28, 2012, 26-year-old Emma Fillipoff was last seen at a downtown hotel, acting erratically and appearing distressed. After her mother Shelley received multiple calls from Emma crying and begging for help, only to call back awhile later to say she changed her mind and can handle it on her own,  Shelley decided to fly to Victoria BC to get the full story. When Shelley showed up, Emma hadnt claimed her bed for the night.  Despite being seen a few hours ago and being spoken to by police, it appeared that Emma had dropped off the face of the earth. After extensive investigations, no trace of her has ever been found. Not the multiple bags she had been seen carrying, nor the bright orange purse she was wearing. Was Emma the victim of foul play, or did she leave voluntarily, to seek out a new life? In this episode, we’ll explore the strange details surrounding Emma’s disappearance, the search efforts, and the many unanswered questions that continue to linger.
