This is separate from this podcast. Uh, you'll have to, you know, look us up and follow that podcast. Um, but we are so excited about this one. It's gonna be an actual play DD podcast. And it's called A Tale of Two Kobalds.

Yeah, and uh, it's only gonna drop once a month on the first of the month, and it's going to be the story of these two little cobalds who are off on an adventure with uh a group and they get separated. The tall people. Yeah, and they get separated, so it's their story of finding each other, yeah, and it's gonna be interesting because it's just the two of us.

So Hid's will be the GM of my character's adventure, and I'm going to be the GM of Hid's character's adventure, and we don't really know, like we sort of kind of decided what what's happening in the like we don't have a big bad, like we don't know where this is going because we can't give you give it away.

Yeah I have ideas, and um one of the things we've worked with with our patrons, which is like really fun that patrons are getting involved at in this, they've helped us with um some of the world world building. We actually um did a live tea time and did drew like the roughed out the map of the continent.

Yeah, we did the thing where we took like a ton of dice and just like rolled it all onto a big piece of paper, and then we traced the outlines of the dice, and that was our continent.

Yeah, and we have like mountains and we have frozen areas and desert and jungles and plains, and it's really fun. We had a lot of fun. Um, we I drew it like sketch stuff out live, um, and we had people watching, and they were saying, Oh, hey, what about this and what about that? And so we got a lot of input. Um, it was really fun doing, and then we had another tea time later on, like a couple weeks later. Yeah. And um we named places and we named locations and kind of got some stories behind some of the places um and decided kind of where our the main part of our story is gonna take place, yeah. Or at least the beginning of our story is gonna take place. Yeah. Um, so it's been really fun, like building this world and kind of coming up with you know things that are known to people who live there, yeah. Um and we've we've recorded the first episode and it's fun.

Yeah, we well, most, yeah, yeah. We still have a little bit to do. Um but I really had fun with the first half of the episode. Um we started with uh Jess's character's story. Yeah. Because hers uh was more dramatic the way she was separated from the party. So yeah. Um if you listened to the trailer, you know. You know, so if you haven't listened to it, go look for a tale of two cobalds, um, Spotify, it's on Castbox, Podcast, couple other places. It will be in more places soon. Yeah. Um and I had another thought. Oh cat cat on the back of my chair. Oh my gosh, he is just like sprawled out. All four feet are just oh my gosh, this cat. Um I think episodes are gonna run right around two hours. That's our goal to keep them there. Well, yeah-ish probably ish. And then we're gonna have a little um fun intermission part where we're gonna do uh DD or RPG tips for GMs and for players to have to kind of make it uh give you a little more tips and tricks that we've learned over the past nine years that we've been hasn't been that long. 2017? 2018. I figured this out the other day because I was like, wow, it's almost been 10 years. Okay.

Um, the theme of the scavenger hunt is going to be finding magic in the mundane. That's all I'm gonna say about that. It's gonna be it might require a lot of creativity. But yeah, if you don't know what we're talking about, if you have not participated in one of our scavenger hunts before, we are starting in April, we will release a big old list of scavenger hunt items. And this is a virtual scavenger hunt, and we we sort of uh make it so you can participate from wherever you are in the world. Oh, there's a cat rubbing up against his mic.

So we we try to get creative and get a good mix in there of so it's not just like you walking around around your house and taking pictures of crap that you see around your house. Like we want not saying your house is full of crap, but you know, uh, we want we want creativity, we want to encourage creativity and we want there to be a little bit of a challenge. So yeah.

Like some of the things might require you to go see something special in your town or get out and do something. A popular place in your town, or yeah, you know, or just visit a library.

And if you are actually unable to get out and do things, that's also where creativity can come into play.

Yeah. Pictures or whatever, if you write something or whatever. Yeah. Um, it's worked out really well. And we love it, and it's very easy to use. And you we do point, it's a point system, so you can kind of oh yeah.

And it's still scary because we have to monitor her now and like keep track of if it happens again, when it happens again, and if there are any warning signs and stuff like that.
