60 and More Crowd: Off To Work We Go!
Welcome to the trailer for The 60 and More Crowd Podcast: Off To Work We Go! I am your host, and podcast creator, Sue. This is a new podcast series based in Canada with a wide global lens. We’re digging into something a lot of us are living: the decision to keep working in our 60's, 70's and beyond and re-imaging what that could look like.
You can't use an old map to navigate to explore a new world.
Whether you’ve hit a traditional retirement age and aren’t ready to stop, or you’ve “retired” only to find yourself back on the job, you’re not alone. Turns out, both are on the rise. Many people are saying they plan to work into their 70's or longer more than any previous generation. These are short on the go episodes less than 8 minutes. Worker longevity is a multi-layered topic and future episodes will feature various aspects of this growing trend. It's fresh modern take with a wide global viewpoint.
I am a real person with experience relating to the topic and the audience. Post career I wanted to keep a work chapter. This path, inspired to lend my voice and create the podcast. Two questions, I keep in mind: 1) How are others in this community navigating the working longer scenario, what does it look like 2) How are organizations and supporting an age inclusive environment. I continue to dig into the topic to keep listeners informed in future episodes.
I love hear to hear from listeners, especially if this has sparked your interest.
