Show Notes

Craig's guest is Darci McConnell, longtime communications professional and journalist, who was appointed to the Grosse Pointe Park City Council in November of 2020.  She is now seeking a full term on the council in this year's election.  McConnell's appointment made history last year as she is the first African-American to ever hold a position on the Grosse Pointe Park City Council.  The east side suburb has been in the news over the years for a number of reasons, including policing tactics,  and it's sometimes contentious relationship with it's neighbor Detroit.
