This passage, often referred to as the "Christ Hymn," serves as a powerful reminder of who Jesus is—His divine nature, His role in creation, and His authority over all things. In a world where many seek to add to or dilute the message of Christ, we are called to recognize and affirm that Jesus is not just a historical figure or a moral teacher, but the very image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. This means that everything was created by Him and for Him, and He holds all things together.
